If power supply is stopped, BJP and consumers will start decisive battle against Government - Vijender Gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta laid the foundation stone of a primary school of 7.55 crores in Bhalswa-Jehangirpuri ward today.  This school is being constructed by the MCD which will have 42 rooms .  Addressing the people present on the occasion, Shri Gupta demanded the Delhi Government that it should brief the people about the dispute on payment for power supply between the private power supply companies of Delhi, NTPC and Delhi Government the reasons is that the NTPC has served notice to the Government, DERC and power companies to stop supply of 2046 MW power meant for Delhi if the dues of 1500 crore rupees is not paid by the power supply companies by the 7th January, 2012.  He told that lakhs of people pay the power bills on time and the power companies are also earning profit continuously.  Inspite of this if power supply is stopped to the people of Delhi then BJP will be compelled to start strong agitation against the Government and power companies. 

            He further told that two weeks ago, the NTPC had warned the power company of Delhi, BSES and Delhi Government that the power companies have to pay 1500 crore rupees to the NTPC.  If this amount is not paid to NTPC by 7th January, 2012 then the NTPC will stop power supply of 2046 MW meant for Delhi and Delhi Government, power companies and DERC will be responsible for it.  Court is hearing this case.  The Court is likely to pronounce its judgement on 20th December.  The Reliance Companies BSES, Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna have expressed their inability to pay the due of 1500 crores on the ground of incurring loss.  Delhi Government is in connivance with these companies.  Hence Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had announced bailout package of 500 crores to these companies. 

 

            Senior Minister in Delhi Government Dr. Ashok Kumar Walia and others had opposed the bail out package of 500 crores openly.  BJP has always been of the view the power companies of Delhi prepare forged accounts showing loss every year and pressurise the DERC and Delhi Government to increase power tariff.  Due to this pressure the Government and DERC allowed 22% increased in power tariff this year.  The power companies are not happy with this increase.  They are demanding 70% increase which would be against the interest of the people.

            Shri Gupta told that it is the demand of BJP that the accounts of the power companies be audited by the CAG.  Because there are concrete proofs of the fact that the power companies had earned profit of 6,000 crore rupees last year.  It is expected that their profit will increase to 8,000 crore rupees this year.  If the power companies are not satisfied even after such huge profit then the Government should end the agreement with them and hand over the work of power distribution to other competent companies.  The High Court of Delhi has also told these companies that if they are incurring loss at the present rates then they should leave the field to other competent companies to whom the work of power supply may be awarded.  Shri Gupta has demanded explanatory papers from the Government on all the issues connected with power supply and has warned the power companies, Delhi Government and DERC that if power supply is stopped in Delhi and if people face difficulties to it then the BJP along with power consumers will start decisive battle against the Government, DERC and Discoms.  On this occasion Mandal President Karam Veer Rathi, RWAs and representatives of the villages were present.

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri.Vijendra Gupta said that Role of Social Media in politics is vital in today’s context in a seminar organized by Pradesh Samvad Prakoshth. Now a day’s role of social media has become critical in providing authentic information towards society and nation. 

Chief speaker of the seminar Shri. Sudhendra Kulkari said that in today’s scenario movement of Anna Hazare, return of black money movement by the Ramdev and corruption are hot issues in India. Although central Govt is indulge in corruption. The voices coming from media about these issues rather than the reality is that social media creating awareness to reveal more corrupt practices. 

On this occasion Pratibha Advani & incharge of Delhi Pradesh Samvad Prakoshth Atul Mukhi said that rest of the media displaced what their editor says, whereas social media is a pure form of expressing our views and opinions. They jointly stated that fast communication of social networking like face book, twitter etc can provide cheap and best technology in the field of political communication.

10 lakh people resolve to dislodge anti people Congress government

Under the two days signature campaign of BJP Delhi Pradesh to protest against anti people Congress government at Center and Delhi, on the last day more than 10 lakh people signed anti government forms and resolved to dislodge Congress government. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta participated in this signature campaign at Gazipur. In this campaign Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Pawan Sharma, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Pankaj Jain, Rajesh Bhatia, Rajeev Babbar, Rekha Gupta, Jai Prakash JP, Sansar Singh, Ramesh Chauhan, Ramcharan Gujrati, Kailash Jain, Suman Prakash Sharma, Manoj Sharma, Chote Ram, Nirmal Jain, Ch. Mahak Singh participated at various places of Delhi.

On this occasion Shri Gupta told the workers and the people that they should resolve not to vote Congress government again to power.  The character of the Congress is despotic.  This government has made several promises to the people before the elections but forget them after the elections.  The UPA government under the leadership of Dr Manmohan Singh has been voted to power for the second time.  This government has not given any thing except corruption inflation, bungling, terrorism, dynastic rule the people.

The anti people government of Delhi treats 2 crore people of Delhi as ordinary consumer and continues to impose tax and fees.  All the people of Delhi have not been provided facilities of drinking water, sewer system.  50 lakh people of Delhi liviing in hellish conditions in unauthorized colonies.  31 lakh people also live in slum clusters under the same conditions.

At the time of taking over as the CM of Delhi Sheila Dikshit had promised that every years two lakh houses will be built in Delhi for the people.  But this promise has not been fulfilled.  She had also promised for providing cheap and good houses to the poor people.  Even this promise has not been fulfilled.  Yamuna river has change into dirty drain were as 1800 crore rupees have been spent. This government is working with the help of corrupt people, touts and profiteers. It has nothing to do with the welfare of the people.

This signature campaign was initiated at 400 places of Delhi on 17^th and 18^th December in which 30,000 workers took part.  The workers apprised the people of Delhi about the anti people works and decision of the government and got there signature on the farms.  People expressed there acrimony against the government.  The people gave there names address and telephone numbers with the signature.  These signed farmed will be submitted to the President of India.

BJP Pradesh President Vijender Gupta issues white-paper on completion three  years misrule of Sheila Dikshit

On the completion of three years of misrule of the corrupt, anti people and despotic Government of Delhi, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta participated in two days signature campaign against Sheila Government at 400 places of Delhi and issued a white-paper against the Government at Azadpur Chowk.  He also participated signature campaigns at Model Town, Kalyan Vihar, Azadpur Chowk etc. places.  In this campaign more than 30,000 workers of the Party got signatures on the anti Government forms by the lakhs of the citizens of Delhi.  The Party will submit the signed forms to the President of India and will demand necessary legal action against Delhi Government.

          Congress Government of Delhi which had promised to make Delhi a city like Paris and Shanghai and make Delhi free from slums and garbage.  In order to make Delhi free from slums, the Chief Minister had promised to lakhs of poor people that under Rajiv Ratan Scheme, they will  be provided multi-storeyed houses on the sites where the present jhuggies are located.  Not a single house has been provided to any slum or J.J. dweller.

          At the time of Assembly elections in 2008 in the month of October, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had distributed provisional certificates through Congress President Sonia Gandhi to the residents of thousands of unauthorised colonies.  It was promised to the people that after regularisation of the colonies, basic amenities will be provided in them within a year.  Not a single colony has been regularised as yet.  The Government and land mafia have together committed land scam of thousands of crores in the name of distributing provisional certificates.  Many fictitious unauthorised colonies were given provisional certificates in which there is no inhabitation at all.  When this scam came to light the Government is trying to cover up the case.

          Due to price spiral in Delhi 80% people are not getting sufficient nutritious food.  What to talk of curbing price spiral, the Chief Minister, adding insult to injury, has said that the people of Delhi earn much hence they are not affected by price spiral.  In Delhi the price spiral is more severe than other cities of the country.  By failing to decrease tax on petrol and diesel, the Government has fuelled price spiral.  Due to increase in circle rate, VAT, service tax, registry fee, school fee, power tariff, water and sewerage charges, it has become difficult for the people to live in Delhi.

          The Government had committed bungling of 70,000 crores in the CWG concluded in October, 2010.  Delhi Government also committed corruption of 25,000 crores in this bungling.  Shunglu Committee and CAG have confirmed it.  Both the constitutional institutions have recommended CBI enquiry into this bungling.  But Delhi Government rejected both the reports.  Shunglu Committee was formed by the Prime Minister himself.  Even after six months of the submission of report, the Central Government is avoiding any action on it.  By this way the Central Government is trying to save Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit openly.

          Delhi Government committed bungling of thousands of crores in the process of privatisation of power.  The people did not get any benefit from the privatisation of power.  The power tariff continued to increase.  By installing fast running meters, the power bills were inflated.  Now the Government has framed plans to privatise water.  Gradually this scheme is being implemented.  After privatisation of power it will be difficult to get drinking water.  The Delhi Government is not providing drinking water to 40% of Delhi and power to 20% people.  These people depend on private sources to get power and water.

          By taking anti people decision one after another, Delhi Government is showing its despotic character.  From time to time Chief Minister of Delhi issued such statements which creates bitterness in the society.  More than 40 lakh Poorvanchalis live in Delhi.  They have been demanding that public holiday should be declared on Chhath festival by Delhi Government.  Government did not announce holiday, but when the MCD announced holiday on Chhath Festival then the Chief Minister strongly opposed it.  Chief Minister considers Poorvanchalis as burden on Delhi.  She says that 40 lakh Poorvanchalis utilise the amenities in Delhi due to which there is scarcity of these amenities.

          Every year thousands of young students have to run from pillar to post for higher education.  Government has not opened a single University in its 13 years rule.  Hundreds of public schools have been opened by getting land at cheap rates.  These schools do not provide free education to the poor students as agreed upon by them at the time of allotment of land.  Hospitals have become slaughter houses.  Yamuna river has become a dirty drain in Delhi PDS system is under the complete control of corrupt people.  Even today lakhs of people sleep in open sky in Delhi.  Inspite of the orders of Delhi High Court, Government has not arranged for sufficient nightshelters.  Delhi has become crime capital for women, children, senior citizens.  Kidnapping, murder, rape cases are common in Delhi.

President of India should fix accountabilityy of 17 thousand crore rupees spent on Aadhar Cards - B.J.P.

BJP has demanded the President of India to fix the acountability of 17 thousand crore rupees spent so far on the ill considered Aadhar Card scheme by the Central Government.  The Party has also demanded the President to issue orders to cancel the Aadhar Cards already issued and withdrawing them after cancellation immediately. 

          It may be mentioned that firstly the Parliamentary Standing Committee and now the Planning Commission has rejected Aadhar Card scheme as unnecessary and dangerous.  Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi had launched this scheme in a grand inauguration programme.  So far crores of people have been issued their Aadhar Cards.

          In Delhi 70 lakh people have completed the process of getting Aadhar Cards.  This scheme will prove to be a great problem for the Government because many Bangladeshi infiltrators have got passports and other documents issued on this basis.  Many such persons have been issued citizenship certificates on this ground.  It has been learnt that many foreign elements have also purchased immoveable property on this basis in Delhi. 

          More than 10 lakh illegal Bangladeshis infiltrators live in Delhi.  The Supreme Court and the High Court have ordered that these Bangladeshis should be deported out of Delhi and sent to their country of original.  Violating the orders of the Court, the Chief Minister of Delhi has not deported any illegal Bangladeshi from Delhi.

          Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit says that ten lakh illegal Bangladeshis living in Delhi are the guest of Delhi Government.  How they can be driven out.  Congress and Delhi Government want to endanger the security of Delhi for the sake of vote politics.  It may be mentioned that Delhi has been the target of anti Indian terrorists. 

          BJP Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the President of India that she should issue orders to the Central Government and Home Ministry that all the Aadhar Cards issued so far should be cancelled and recall.

Two days signature campaign against the Government starts tomorrow

Lakhs of people to participate in the anti Government signature campaign at 400 places - Vijender Gupta

On the issues of corruption, back breaking price spiral, getting back black-money, FDI in retail trade, cancellation of Aadhar Yojna and anti people policies of Government besides creation of weak Lokpal, the BJP Delhi Pradesh will initiate signature campaign at 400 prominent places of Delhi on the 17th & 18th December, 2011.  In this programme 30,000 workers will get signatures against the Government from lakhs of citizens of Delhi.  The signed forms of the citizens will be submitted to the President of India for necessary action.

            The prominent places of the signature campaign are as follows : Rajouri Garden Metro Station, Tagore Garden Metro Station, Tilak Nagar Metro Station, Karol Bagh Market, Arya Samaj Chowk, Karol Bagh Metro Station, Pahar Ganj Main Bazar opposite New Delhi Railway Station, Sarojini Nagar Market, M-Block Market GK-I, Malviya Nagar Market, Hauz Khas Market, Seelampur Metro Station, Gandhi Nagar Bus Stand, Pushta Road, Karkardooma Metro Station, Anand Vihar Metro Station, Fine Home Chowk, Acharya Niketan Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Nizamuddin Railway Station, Peeragarhi Chowk, Nangloi Railway Station, Haiderpur, Deep Market Ashok Vihar.

            The Court has summoned Home Minister P. Chidambaram finding his doubtful role in the 2-G Spectrum case, but the Prime Minister and his Government is trying to save Chidambaram.  Mr. Chidambaram also interfered with the judicial process and withdrew criminal case at his own level.  This is a case of misuse of office, but the Home Minister is not resigning whereas the entire Opposition is boycotting him to protest against his conduct.

            The intention of Government is not clear on the issue of Lokpal and FDI.  Government wants to introduce a useless Bill and it wants to keep the post of Prime Minister and other Government employees beyond the purview of Lokpal.  On this issue the Government is betraying Anna also.  By assuring to bring an effective Lokpal Bill with unanimous view in the Parliament the Prime Minister had written a letter to Anna.  Now the Congress Government is not fulfilling its promise and it is acting in contempt of Parliament.

            The corrupt Congress Government has neither removed Sheila Dikshit nor has ordered CBI enquiry against her even after the reports of Shunglu Committee and the report of CAG of India.  Delhi Government is committing scams one after another.  Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are aware of it, but they are mum. What is the reason of such silence?

            Delhi Government committed bungling of 25 thousand crore out of the 70 thousand crore bungling of CWG.  This has been confirmed by Shunglu Committee and CAG which has recommended CBI enquiry against the persons involved in it.  Delhi Government committed corruption of thousands of crores by issuing certificates to fictitious colonies in the name of provisional certificates.  Now Delhi Government is fully trying to cover up the case of fictitious colonies.

            Delhi Government misappropriated 680 crore rupees of SC Welfare Fund in the name of CWG.  When this case was exposed the Chief Minister told that this money will be refunded in the Welfare Fund.  Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit wanted to give bail out package of 500 crore rupees to the private power companies who are looting the people of Delhi.  When there was strong protest against it the Chief Minister could not give bail out package of 500 crore rupees. Delhi Government wants to put ten times higher burden of water tariff on the people by privatising water supply.  There is also possibility of bungling of hundreds of crores in the process of privatisation of water supply.

BJP levels serious charges of covering up the case on Delhi Government

Home Minister should order immediate enquiry into the case of fictitious unauthorised colonies - Vijender Gupta

In a letter written to the Home Minister P. Chidambaram, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded that he should order a high level and transparent enquiry into the land scam of thousands of crores connected with fictitious unauthorised colonies given provisional certificates in Delhi because Delhi Government is trying to cover up the case. 

            Pradesh President has written to the Home Minister that Delhi Government is deliberately covering up the case of fictitious unauthorised colonies which were given provisional certificates because if impartial enquiry is done then high profile persons of ruling Party, some MPs etc. may be found to be involved in it.  The Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan is also involved in this scam because he has signed the provisional certificates.  The Chief Minister has tried to cover up this scam of thousands of crores only by changing the Department of Raj Kumar Chauhan.  Shri Gupta has demanded that the Home Minister should immediately order for high level impartial, transparent and time bound enquiry into the largest land scam of thousands of crores in Delhi so that the people involved in the scam may be punished and in future no one tries to commit such land scam.

            Shri Gupta has said that before the Assembly elections of 2008 in the month of October, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had distributed provisional certificates to the RWAs of 1218 unauthorised colonies through the Congress President Sonia Gandhi with the promise that all the unauthorised colonies will be regularised and basic amenities provided in them within a year.  Three years have elapsed, but not a single unauthorised colony has been regularised.

            The latest revelation is that in the name of distributing provisional certificate, high profile influential persons connected with Delhi Government committed scam of thousands of crores.  Provisional certificate was to be given only to those colonies which had more than 50% inhabitation.  Some colonies like Radha Kishan Vihar, Kotla Mahigram Extension, Jasola, Sarita Vihar, Abu Fazal Enclave Part-II, Ganga Vihar, Taimur Nagar Extension etc. colonies were also given provisional certificate through Mrs. Sonia Gandhi in which there is no inhabitation at all.  This case is of land scam of thousands of crores.  When the media and BJP exposed it then Delhi Government ordered enquiry into it.
