          New Delhi, 15^th November.  In a joint statement BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta & Vice President Sardar R. P. Singh have strongly condemned the criminal attack on Shiromani Akali Dal Pradesh President Sardar Manjeet Singh during a meeting in Gurudwara Rakabganj today and have held the SPGC Delhi President Sardar Paramjeet Singh Sarna and Delhi government directly responsible for it.  They have demanded dissolving SPGC and stern action after arresting the guilty persons.  Just after listening about the attack on Sardar Manjeet Singh, Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta went to RML Hospital to meet Shri Singh and for his proper treatment.

          Gurudwara management had called a meeting at Rakabganj Gurudwara in the noon today.  Sardar Manjeet Singh was also invited in this meeting.  He was attacked during this meeting.  Fatal attack on Sikh leader and incident of firing near the place where Home Ministry, Parliament & President House are situated, exposes the failing law and order in Delhi.  Central government and Delhi government are fully responsible for it. 

          Eyewitness say that there was open fighting with swords and firing in the sacred Gurudwara.  Eight persons were injured in this incident.  Four persons have been admitted in RML Hospital.  Sardar Manjeet Singh has sustained serious injury on his head requiring many stitches.

          Shri Gupta told that Delhi has become haven of criminals.  Now leaders of political parties and religious management committees are being attacked which is a dangerous situation.  It seems that there is nothing like government in Delhi.  Pradesh President of SAD is attacked in broad daylight in Rakabganj Gurudwara near Prime Minister’s office and the criminals escape.  When this is the situation near PMO, President House, Home Ministry then what will be the condition of remote areas of Delhi.

Demand to Delhi government for declaring Public Holiday on Chhath Puja

            New Delhi, 15^th November.  BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that respecting the sentiments of 40 lakh Poorvanchalies of the capital and on the occasion of their most sacred festival of Chhath Puja government should declare Public Holiday on the 19^th November.  He has also demanded providing several facilitates on Chhath Ghats for the Poorvanchalies.  For this purpose a 13 point demand has been issued. Party will organize camps with Karsewaks at 160 Chhath Ghats so that the worshippers may not face any difficulty.  The demands are :

1          Demand for declaring Public Holiday on Chhath Puja in Delhi.

2          Sufficient number of special trains should be run from Delhi to Bihar.

3          Sufficient arrangements be made for worshippers in MCD and DDA parks.

4          Additional Water be released at Wazirabad Ghats on this occasion.

5          Special cleaning at Yamuna banks be done.  Uneven roads be made worth waking.

6          Arrangements for free parking be made at Ghats.

7          Sufficient number of toilets for men and women be provided at the Ghats.

8          Provision of tents for women to change clothes at Yamuna banks.

9          Arrangements for police and motor boats in sufficient numbers.

10        Provision for beds, durries, polythene sheets, lighting, drinking water for night stay for every 1000 people at each Chhath Ghat and medical facilities. 

11        Free and sufficient transport service be provided.

12        Mob control and disaster management team be deputed at all the main railway stations of Delhi.

13        Temporary medical camps be opened at railway station and bus terminals.

            Shri Gupta was talking to the press persons at BJP Delhi Pradesh Head Office today. BJP Delhi Pradesh Poorvanchal Cell Convenor Abhay Varma was present on this occasion.  He told that BJP as the strong protector of Indian culture, will depute 10,000 volunteers for helping the Chhath worshippers on every Chhath Ghats of Delhi.  BJP Pradesh President will himself visit prominent Ghats with his team so that the worshippers do not face any difficulty.  In accordance will the direction of Pradesh President all the three corporations have taken steps to clean the Ghats.  Additional number of laborers have been deputed for this work.      

            Pradesh President has demanded Delhi government to make arrangements for the sale of fruits/flowers and other necessary items for Chhath Puja at concessional rates for the worshippers so that price spiral does not spoil the festival.  The shopkeepers have increased the prices of fruits and other items used by worshippers on this occasion in view of forthcoming Chhath Puja.  Government should make all the necessary arrangements to control the prices so that all the items used by the worshippers may be available at fair price.  Bananas are being sold @ Rs. 70 per dozen, Apples @ Rs. 160 per kg, Mosami @ Rs. 60 per kg, Permanganate @ Rs. 180 per kg, Coconuts @ Rs. 50 per piece, Orange @ Rs. 150 per kg, Naak @ Rs. 120 per kg, B-gosha @ Rs. 100 per kg, Ananas @ Rs. 60 per piece, Sharifa @ Rs. 120 per kg on this occasion.  

            Shri Gupta issued a list of 160 Chhath Ghats to the press persons. It may be mentioned that in Bihar State and its neighboring areas two days public holiday is allowed so that the people may observe the Chhath Puja of Lord Sun will full enthusiasm. This festival is observed for the welfare of family, society, country and the world.  This is the only festival in which the setting sun and the rising sun is worshipped.  After paying obeisance to the setting sun the worshippers pass their night on the bank of rivers singing devotional songs.  On the next day they pay obeisance to the rising sun and conclude their worship of Sun God.  Besides India this festival is observed in Mauritius, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Java, Sumatra, Africa etc. where Poorvanchalies are living.  

Lord Vishwakarma was the original architect of the world

Today Federation of Sanjay Gandhi Nagar Transporters celebrated the birth anniversary of Lord Vishwakarma, the original architect of the universe at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar. Addressing the people as the Chief Guest on this occasion, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that the birth anniversary of the original architect lord Vishwakarma is being celebrated in India since ages in the memory of Indian architecture. When the God expressed his desire to create the world then he assigned the work of construction of the entire world to Lord Vishwakarma. Whatever we see has been constructed by Lord Vishwakarma. 

Lord Vishwakarma created all the worlds including Devlok. He also made arms & ammunitions and the heaven. In the Tretayuga, Lord Vishwarkma had built golden Lanka of Ravana. In Dwaparyuga, he constructed Dwarka city and in Mahabharat age he constructed Hastinapur. He is considered to be the original Master of architecture, art, painting, handicrafts and fashion. He has four hands. He holds a pot full of water in one hand, Veda in another, noose, used for architecture in third hand and tools in his fourth hand. All the people who are in the business of engineering and tools, observe Vishwakarma pooja in India and the world. Prosperity comes in the society and family which worships him. 

Shri Gupta told that Lord Chitragupta, the accountant of Yamraj is also worshiped on this day. People connected with writing, journalism, poets etc. worship Pen on this occasion. Lakhs of Hindu families organise feast of Chhappan Bhog on this day in which peoples share food preparations of various kinds with their friends & family members and distribute among the people.

Gas Cylinders being sold at the rate of Rs. 1400 in black market in the capital

CHIEF MINISTER SHEILA DIKSHIT SHOULD RESIGN FOR HER FAILURE TO STOP BLACK MARKETING IN COOKING GAS – VIJENDER GUPTA 

New Delhi, 10th Nov. Reacting to the failure of Delhi Government to stop black marketing in cooking gas, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the incompetent Chief Minister should resign immediately because this Government has failed in Governance. 

After the decision of Government to fix quota of six cylinders per year, open black marketing of gas cylinders has started here. Delhi Government has expressed its inability to stop this black marketing. Chief Minister is going to complain to the Petroleum Minister Virappa Moiley against black marketing of gas cylinders. The bureaucracy has already complained about it to the Central Government. 

BJP Pradesh President told that there is a Food and Supplies Department under Delhi Government and Minister is In-charge of this department. Yet Gas Cylinders are being sold from Rs. 1300 to 1500 in black market in the capital. Role of many Gas Agencies of Delhi in this case is also suspect. People say that the Gas Agencies have displayed a board stating, ‘stock not available’ at present. But their employees are offering gas cylinders to the needy persons in black market. 

It is the season of festivals and gas is being consumed more in all the houses. Sweets and Namkeen makers are also using gas in large quantity. Government should appreciate this fact and should issue orders to supply Gas Cylinders on demand during the festival season. But Delhi Government is not aware of these facts. Its Food & Supply Department has not made any arrangement for the sale of adulterated sweets and black marketing on the occasion of Deepawali. No raids are been carried out by this department.

TOMORROW VIJENDER GUPTA AND SHEILA DIKSHIT SHALL FACE EACH OTHER IN SAKET COURT

In the case of Sheila Dikshit vs BJP Delhi Pradesh President Vijender Gupta filed in the Court of Saket Metropolitan Magistrate, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit will have to appear in person tomorrow the 9th November and allow the advocates of Shri Vijender Gupta to argue with her.

It may be mentioned that in course of hearing on the 12th October, the Court had given absentee Sheila Dikshit last chance and given her orders to personally appear in the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate on the 9th November. If she does not appear on this date then her case will be dismissed by the court.

On the date of last hearing, Shri Vijender Gupta had himself argued before the Magistrate that the Sheila Dikshit is the complainant but she is deliberately not appearing in the court. The objective of her case was to harass BJP Delhi Pradesh President Vijender Gupta because he has initiated movement against the connivance between Chief Minister and the three power companies.

Chief Minsiter had appeared only once out of 10 dates in the court whereas under Section-256 of CrPC complainant has to appear on every date. Taking serious view of the continuous absence of the Chief Minister Court held that Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is common person in the eye of court. It makes no different to the court if she is the Chief Minister. Everyone is equal in eye of law.

Black-marketing of auto rickshaw in delhi with the connivance of government - BJP

Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra and BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijendra Gupta today held Shiela Dikshit Government and the Congress party squarely responsible for the rampant corruption and black-marketing in getting the Auto Rickshaw permits. 

In a statement both leaders charged the government with deliberating creating an artificial scarcity by issuing only ten thousand Auto Rickshaw Permits instead of 45 thousand as directed by the Supreme Court. This clearly shows the vicious nexus between the Delhi Government, financiers and Auto Rickshaw mafia. 

They said a year ago the Supreme Court had allowed the Government to release 45 thousand permits for Auto Rickshaws. The Supreme Court had also said that in case there is more demand for the three Wheelers, the Government can apply for more permits. 

Instead of trying to provide relief to the harassed commuters, Delhi Government in league with financiers and Auto Rickshaw Mafia deliberately held back release of the permits for a long period and now has released only ten thousand permits thus clearly violating the court orders and in the process encouraging and helping the black marketers. 

It is another addition to the growing number of scams under the Shiela Dikshit Government and I demand that CBI inquiry should be held in this scandal as to why 45-thousand Permits have been held back and why it took the administration 11 months to implement the court order. The common citizen has a right to know why he/she is being blackmailed by its own government.
