BJP inspect the incomplete projects related to Commonwealth Games and expose the corruption by Govt. – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that even after two years of the conclusion of Commonwealth Games many projects worth thousands of crores of rupees are still incomplete. These projects were to be completed by Sept. 2010 but due to corruption, neglige and red taping these projects have not been completed for which Delhi Govt. and Central Govt. are responsible. Shri Gupta has announced that BJP will inspect the sites of incomplete projects and after that expose the corruption of Govt. before the people.

It may be mentioned that before the CWG Delhi Govt. was given various projects of construction, development, beautification worth 30 thousand crore rupees. Many projects are still not complete. In the mean time their cost of construction has also increased. There is apprehension of heavy corruption in these incomplete projects. The conditions are so bad that the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place is still in a chaotic condition due to digging in the entire area. The trade in this central place has been badly affected. The image of the country has been maglind which will not be tolerated by the BJP.

Pradesh President further told that during the CWG, Delhi Govt. and the Central Govt. committed corruption of thousands of crores of rupees together which has been confirmed by CAG, CVC, Shunglu Committee, Lokayukta, Delhi Police and the Inquiry Committee of the BJP. But further investigation in this corruption has not been carried out. The corrupt person under Delhi Govt. are openly destroying the proof and are roaming free. Due to this the trust of Govt. in rule of law has ended.

The Govt. is so much unconstitutional and irresponsible that in place of punishing the corrupt persons it is now thinking of giving clean chit to a corrupt person like Suresh Kalmadi. The Govt. which cannot punish the low level corrupt persons how can be expected that it will punish high profile corrupt persons like Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
