Congress defeated in South Delhi Municipal Corporation – Vijay Goel.

·        Congress defeated in South Delhi Municipal Corporation – Vijay Goel.

New Delhi; 16th April :  Expressing his happiness over the victory of Sarita Chaudhary in the election to the post of Mayor of South Delhi Municipal Corporation, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Vijay Goel said that this time Congress tried to give a fight to the BJP in the election to the post of Mayor but the Congress was defeated. This victory clearly indicates that all the parties are united against the anti people policies of Congress. This time BSP, National Lokdal, Indian National Lokdal, JD(U), NCP of Rambir Singh Bidhuri also voted against Congress. 
                                           
Shri Goel said that this victory shows that the people of Delhi have rejected the Congress party which is fueling price rise. Although BJP has 44 Councilors only, it secured 64 votes and the Congress could manage 48 votes only.

Shri Goel claimed that this time the alliance of NCP and BJP will win the Najafgarh Zone, West Zone, South Zone besides Central Zone. 

Three times Councilor Smt. Sarita Chaudhary was elected as Mayor and BJP and BSP candidate Shri Sahi Ram was elected as Deputy Mayor. Shri Goel further said that Delhi Government has been indulging in mis propaganda against all the three Corporations and tried to capture the SDMC by making alliance with other parties. The people know everything. They shall teach Congress a lesson in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
