BJP CHALLENGES CONGRESS GOVERNMENT

BJP’s JAN SANGHARSH RATH YATRA FROM 11th FEB TO 25th FEB IN ENTIRE DELHI 

New Delhi, 8th February. For the purpose of exposing the evil deeds of Delhi Government which is responsible for bungling, price spiral and deteriorating condition of Delhi and creating awareness among the people for dislodging the Congress Government besides, BJP Delhi Pradesh will takeout aggressive Jan Sangharsh Rath Yatra from 11th Feb to 25th Feb, 2012 in entire Delhi. Riding on the Rath, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta will sound the bugle of public movement passing through every lane, mohalla, villages of Delhi. The National President Shri Nitin Gadkari will flag off the Jan Sangarsh Rath Yatra on 11th Feb. from Burari village in a grand function. The party has made preparations for the Yatra on war footing. Lakhs of BJP workers of Delhi will start final campaign against Delhi Government in entire Delhi. 

The programme is as follows:- 11th Feb. entire North-East area, 12th Feb. Naveen Shahdara area, 13th Feb. Mayur Vihar, 14th Feb. Shahdara, 15th Feb. entire South Delhi area, 16th Feb. Mehrauli, 17 Feb. Najafgarh, 18th Feb. West Delhi area, 19th Feb. entire Outer Delhi, 21st Feb. North-West area of Delhi, 22nd Feb. Keshavpuram, 23rd Feb. Karol Bagh, 24th Feb. New Delhi area, 25th Feb. Chandni Chowk area and the grand conclusion of the Yatra. 

            This information was given by the Convener of the Yatra Shri Yogendra Chandolia to the press persons today. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, General Secretaries Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma and Ashish Sood were present in the press conference. Apprising the press persons about the ‘why of Rath Yatra’, Pradesh President told that the condition of the capital of India has become from bad to worse during the Congress rule. The conditions are so bad that the people are not getting even the basic amenities like water, power, public transport, security, education, health, food, etc. Congress has been ruling Delhi for the last 13 years but 2 crore people of Delhi are not getting enough food and shelter, what to talk of a respectable life. 40 percent of the people of Delhi do not get water supply from the Government and 30 percent people are not supplied power. 

50 Lakh people living in unauthorized colonies of the capital are not getting environment worth living. They are living in hellish conditions due to lack of basic amenities. During the last 3 Assembly elections, the Government had promised to regularize the unauthorized colonies after coming to power. Delhi will be made a city free from slums. Delhi will become education and health hub but not a single promise was fulfilled. In place of increasing the basic amenities, these continued to decrease and the Government continued to hike the charges for water, power supply and sewer services. Delhi has also become haven for the criminals. Here the senior citizens, children are not safe even during day time. Government has committed a big bungling of thousands of crores in the name of provisional certificates. Divisional Commissioner has confirmed about it in his report. 

The corruption by the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit exposed in Shunglu Committee report, CAG report, CVC report is continuing. The Congress President and Prime Minister and their corrupt colleagues are continuously awarding her in place of taking a legal action. Even after the report of Lokayukta, the corruption by Delhi Government is not being curbed. The people of Delhi are restless. They want basic changes in the governance. BJP is committed for the good governance and transparent system in Delhi. The objective of Jan Sangharsh Yatra is to prepare every citizen for the change and dislodge the Congress Government.
