Imposing ESMA is despotic behaviour of the Government -
Vijender Gupta
BJP Delhi Pradesh
President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the people of the country and Delhi were already
suffering due to anti people policies of the Congress Government, now the
strike by prominent labour unions, organisation of banks and Insurance
Companies, power sector employees, auto rickshaw drivers has proved that the
Congress is not capable of running Government.
In place of negotiating with the striking organisations this Government
is behaving in a despotic manner. This
will deteriorate the conditions further.
He has demanded the Central Government and Delhi Government that they
should negotiate with the striking organisations in an amicable atmosphere and
find out a solution. The strike has
adversely affected the life of the people in Delhi .
The sufferings of the people has increased.
Shri Gupta told that the conditions
are out of control of Congress Government.
This Government is not capable of managing the affairs of the
country. People are also fed up with
Congress Government. Before going on
strike the labour organisations had many times warned the Government. Yet the Government did not talk to them for
finding out a solution. Delhi Government
imposed ESMA on the employees. Before
imposing ESMA the Government should have talked to the representatives of the
labour organisations in which the Government completely failed. The result is
before us. Strike has started and the
people are facing difficulties.
Delhi Government is ridiculing the
two crore people by behaving against the interest of the workers, labourers,
farmers and common man. Chief Minister
Sheila Dikshit is concerned only about the profit of power companies. Despite the protest by the people she gave
bailout package of 500 crore rupees to the power companies inspite of the fact
that they were earning profit. In the
meantime the Congress Government of Haryana has stopped the water supply of Delhi 's share in contempt
of the decision of Supreme Court.
Congress Party is running the Government at Centre, Delhi and Haryana. Inspite of this these three Governments are
not ready to talk to each other.
Congress Party has become obstinate due to which the people are
suffering.
Pradesh President told that 40
prominent employees Federations, Banking employees Federation, Bharatiya
Mazdoor Sangh, AITC, INTC, Hind Mazdoor Sabha, CITU, AIUTUT, Income Tax
Department employees, DTC employees have submitted 34 points demand besides
constituting new Pay Commission. Such a
large workers strike was not held in recent times. The workers have gone on strike only after
they lost their patience. Central and
Delhi Government's anti labour policies, anti farmers policy and anti people
policies are the cause of corruption and price spiral in the country. Government has completely failed in curbing
it. The failing economic system has made
the life of the workers and the common man difficult.
