MASSIVE DHARNA OF THOUSANDS BJP WORKERS DEMANDING FILING OF CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST THE CHIEF MINISTER AND THE HEALTH MINISTER
New Delhi, 7th December. Under the leadership of Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta thousands of BJP workers staged strong demonstration in front of Trauma Centre demanding filing of criminal case against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Health Minister Dr. A.K. Walia and Hospital Administration for tragic deaths in Sushrut Trauma Centre and drastic changes in the health services in the capital.
On this occasion BJP workers were raising slogans: Aspatalon me begunahon ki maut – Doshiyon ko saja do, saja do, Delhi me 5 saal me 10,000 bacchon ki maut – Sheila Ji jawab do – jawab do. Mukhya Mantri aur Swasthya Mantri ko-Giraftar Karo-Giraftar Karo, Begunah Hatyaon ki Nyayik Jaanch Karo, Nyayik Jaanch Karo etc.
Addressing the workers sitting on Dharna, Shri Vijender Gupta announced that BJP will not tolerate the deaths of innocent persons in the Hospitals. The persons responsible for it will have to go to Jail. He told that Delhi Government spent 2160 crore rupees on medical services, public health and Government Hospitals in the year 2010. The people say that corruption was committed in utilising this money. The condition of patients in Government Hospitals is very pathetic. Hospitals have become butcher houses. Nobody is listening to the poor people. He informed that even after 65 years of independence, the number of Government hospitals in Delhi is only 34 whereas the population has increased to 2.30 crores.
He further told that the Government is avoiding judicial enquiry because if such enquiry is held then the Chief Minister and Health Minister shall be directly held responsible and they will have to resign. Departmental enquiry is being held only to cover up the case so that the truth may not be known. The head of Sushrut Trauma Centre has neither been suspended nor arrested. Is it justified to arrest only the two innocent employees of the gas supply company?
Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told that Congress has been ruling Delhi for the last 14 years. This time is a very long period for the all round development of any capital. It is unfortunate that during these 14 years, Congress Government has changed the capital into a hell. The condition of health services, education, security, employment, public transport, housing etc. is very serious. 20 percent people of the capital are not supplied electricity and 40 percent people do not get clean drinking water even after 65 years of independence. On this occasion, more than 100 Councillors, Legislator Naresh Gaud, Dy. Mayor Azad Singh, Mahendra Nagpal, Pawan Sharma, Vijay Jolly, R.P. Singh, Satish Upadhyay, Dr. Kanwar Sain, Imran Ismail, Radhe Shyam Sharma, Vishakha Shailani, Poonam Azad, Prithvi Raj Sahani, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Vijay Sharma, Kanwaljeet Sehrawat, Birendra Juyal, Narendra Tondan, Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Rajan Tewari, Ravinder Gupta, Sunil Yadav, Simmi Jain, Urmila Chowdhary, Anil Goel, Ram Sharan Jindal, Mahendra Gupta, Hukum Singh, Meva Ram Arya, Sanjay Kaul, Dr. Sambit Patra, Nakul Bhardwaj, Sikha Rai, Atif Rasheed, Raj Kumar Ballan, Krishan Lal Dhilod, Abhay Verma, Rekha Gupta, Jai Prakash, Choudhary Mehak Singh, Kailash Jain, Ram Charan Gujrati, Nirmal Jain, Rajesh Bhatia, Pankaj Jain, Ramesh Chauhan, Sansar Singh, Rajeev Babbar, Suman Prakash Sharma, Manoj Sharma, Choudhary Chhote Ram and hundreds of workers were present. There was great acrimony against the Government negligence among the BJP workers. They were also demanding resignation of the Government.
