Government, Administration and Delhi Police should stop playing political game

GOVERNMENT SHOULD ORDER FOR A JUDICIAL ENQUIRY INTO THE CASE OF DEATH OF POLICEMAN TOMAR – VIJENDER GUPTA

New Delhi, 26th Dec. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded for high level judicial enquiry into the death of Policeman Subhash Chandra Tomar in suspicious circumstances. He told that the Government and the Police are behaving in immoral way to cover up their mistakes and failures. The way in which Central Home Minister, Home Secretary, Chief Minister of Delhi, Police Commissioner of Delhi, SDM Vivek Vihar and the doctor who made preliminary examination of the dead body of Subhash Chandra Tomar are giving contradictory statements, it seems that all are hatching a grave conspiracy. This conspiracy may only be exposed by judicial enquiry.

Shri Gupta told that without submission of the post mortem examination report, the way in which Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar gives a statement to the media on 25th December that the cause of death of Policeman Subhash Chandra Tomar is injury on his chest and stomach. He has termed the death the Policeman as murder and said that the case will be filed for murder against 8 young men. It shows that in order to cover up its mistakes, the police want to implicate innocent young men in case of murder. Hence, it is necessary to have impartial and high level judicial enquiry into this case. Only such enquiry can find out the truth.

The Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit is also playing political game in this case. It is shameful for the Government that it is behaving in an immoral way. Government is also trying to take political advantage of the demonstration on 23rd December. Chief Minister is hatching conspiracy against the Police Commissioner and the Home Minister. The way in which she allowed her letter to the Home Minister to be leaked it seems that the Chief Minister wants to make the demonstration and the death of Policeman as the tool of her political game. She is neither worried about the victim girl nor about the death of Policeman.

Shri Gupta told that in a letter written to the Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, the SDM Usha Chaturvedi has alleged that Delhi Police did not allow the videography of the gang rape victim. Police had a readymade statement with it. The police pressurised the SDM to record that statement. It also indicates about a grave conspiracy. SDM has met Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit also. Hence it is necessary that the Government, administration and Delhi Police should stop playing political game in the case of gang rape and death of the Policeman and the truth about the case may come to light. Shri Gupta has also demanded that the report of preliminary examination after the death of the Policeman Subhash Tomar should be made public, so that the truth and the conspiracy may be exposed.
