BJP stages big demonstration demanding punishment to the guilty persons of “Vote for Cash” scam

Under the leadership of BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta a big demonstration was staged at Jantar Mantar demanding punishment to the guilty persons in ‘Vote for Cash’ scam and dual character and double standard of the Congress Party. Shri Gupta demanded stern punishment to the guilty Congressmen involved in ‘Vote for Cash’ scam. The demonstrators wanted to reach up to Parliament house but the police stopped them in the midway by using force.

Addressing thousands of BJP workers assembled from all over Delhi in the demonstration. S. Shri Vijender Gupta, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Rameshwar Chaurasiya, Vijay Kumar Malhotra and Vijay Goel said that BJP MPs were offered bribe of crores of rupees to save the Manmohan Singh Government. They were given crores of rupees as first installment but the honest BJP’s MPs took the money paid by the Congress to the presiding officers and demanded stern action against the persons offering bribe. Even after this the Congress Government and Delhi Police did not take action deliberately in the ‘Cash for Vote’ scam because if action had been taken then high profile persons in Congress Party and UPA Government could be exposed.

Delhi Police still going slow in this case because the Home Minister P. Chidambaram wants that no action be taken in this case. The Government and Delhi Police also tried to mislead the Supreme Court but after its firm attitude and been reprimanded by the court, the police is playing drama of slowly investigating in this case.
