BJP delegation meets the Commissioner of Police demanding FIR against Chief Minister and her Parliamentary Secretary Tarvinder Singh Marwah and their arrest

BJP will continue its agitation till the dismissal of Sheila Dikshit – Vijender Gupta

A delegation of senior BJP leaders under the leadership of BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta met the Delhi Police Commissioner today and submitted a memorandum demanding immediate filing of criminal case under sections 467, 468, 471, 472, 473, 120-B and 34 of the IPC and their immediate arrest because under a criminal conspiracy the daughter of Tarvinder Singh Marwah was admitted to Mata Sundari College on the basis of forged documents and marksheet etc.  The Commissioner of Police assured the BJP delegation that the FIR will be lodged today itself and necessary legal action will be taken against the guilty persons.

Besides the Pradesh President the delegation included SarvaShri Vijay Jolly, R.P. Singh, Subhash Arya, Yogender Chandoliya, Shikha Rai etc.  The BJP delegation told the Police Commissioner that when the Chief Minister, her Parliamentary Secretary and other influential persons shall get their relatives admitted to the colleges of Delhi University on forged documents then where shall the qualified and competent students shall go to complain?  There is great acrimony among lakhs of eligible students of Delhi due to the exposure of this forgery.  This case has also exposed the mafia raj, commercialization and anarchy in the field of education.  The people have lost their faith in the Government.

Delhi Police is a respected and hard working organization.  If the Delhi Police does not file FIR after the complaint of the Principal against influential persons then the people of Delhi shall lose their trust in the Delhi Police.  Shri Vijender Gupta told the Police Commissioner Shri B.K. Gupta that there is need to take speedy action in the aforesaid case so that a message may go to the people that Delhi Police does not discriminate between influential persons and the common man.  The fundamental rights under the Constitution of India provides that all the people are equal before the law and all shall be treated equally.  BJP demands that besides Tanwinder Singh Marwah the Chief Minister should resign on moral and legal grounds for this fraud and forgery.

It may be mentioned that the Legislator had on his letter head written a letter to the Chairman of Mata Sundari College of Delhi on 5th July, 2011 recommending admission for his daughter Jasmin Kaur in BA Course.  The Chairman forwarded that letter through a special messenger on the same day to the Principal of Mata Sundari College Kanwarjeet Kaur.  The certificate No. 200193776 from open school Bhopal for Higher Senior Secondary examination was attached with the letter.  Besides this a migration certificate No. 16057 was also attached.  The marksheet showed that Jasmin Kaur had secured 255 marks out of 500.
