BJP will submit to the President of India signatures of 20 lakhs people of Delhi to protesting against the corruption, price spiral and anti people policies of the Congress Government.

BJP will submit to the Hon’ble President of India signatures by 20 lakhs people of Delhi protesting against the corruption, price spiral, anti people policies, scams and other problems of Delhi. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has written a letter to the Hon’ble President for giving appointment to submit a memorandum in this regard. When ever the appointment will be given a delegation of senior BJP leaders under the leadership of Shri Vijender Gupta will meet the Hon’ble President at the Rashtrapati Bhawan and submit the memorandum for proper legal action. 

It may be mentioned that some months ago the BJP workers had organized signature campaign at one thousand prominent places of Delhi for obtaining the opinion of the people on the aforesaid issues and has prepared a format for the signatures of the people. Large number of people turned up at the prominent places and more than 20 lakhs people of Delhi signed the format protesting against the corruption, atrocities, anti people policies of Congress government, price rise and lack of basic amenities. BJP wants to submit these signatures to the Hon’ble President so that the attention of the first citizen of the country and protector of the Indian constitution may be drawn towards the Indian laws so that the Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit, other ministers, officers, Congress leaders, touts, contractors, middle men etc. who are escaping the legal action against them, may be sent to jail with the help of Presidential intervention. 

It may be mentioned that Delhi government committed bungling of about 25,000 crores rupees in the Commonwealth Games. The Shunglu Committee, CAG and Lokayukta of Delhi also recommended filing cases against the guilty persons but no legal action has been initiated against the Chief Minister and other corrupt persons at the behest of Mannohan government and Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi. This has given a message to the people that Congress leaders may commit corruption and loot in the country but no legal action can be taken under Indian laws against them. Due to this there is great disappointment among the people and the respect of law by the people has downgrading. BJP wants that the constitution of India should prevail and its dignity should be respected and hence every corrupt person certainly prosecuted.
