Vijender Gupta appeals to the Party workers to fulfil their resolve of victory in Ramlila Maidan
Addressing a big public meeting in connection with the MCD elections in Punjabi Bagh today, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta said that the elections to the MCD is going to be a decisive battle of the people and BJP against the Congress. In this battle the people will dislodge the Congress Government and pave the way for the victory of BJP. Starting from the victory of BJP in MCD elections this year, Assembly elections in 2013 will conclude in its victory in the Lok Sabha elections in 2014. This election is decisive. He reminded the workers of their resolve in the massive workers conference at Ramlila Maidan on the 26th February, 2012 in which the former National President Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu had administered resolve to the 70 thousand workers with the BJP flags in one hand and raising their other hand. We, karyakartas and leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, pledge to work tirelessly, unitedly and with single-minded determination to oust the corrupt and anti-people Congress governments both in Delhi and at the Centre. We shall not rest until we once again hoist the flag of Good Governance, Development and Security — in Delhi as well as in New Delhi. We shall win the hearts and minds of all sections of society by serving them with utmost dedication. Guided by the proud and distinctive tradition of our great Party, we shall uphold the ideology, promote the ideals and strengthen the image of the BJP with our disciplined conduct.”
Shri Gupta was addressing thousands of workers present on the occasion of inauguration of election office of Mrs. Satwinder Kaur Sirsa w/o Manjinder Singh Sirsa contesting on the ticket of BJP Akali Alliance from Punjabi Bagh Ward. He told that the workers should forget their differences and should start working for the victory of BJP from today itself so that the Congress may be taught a lesson for its corruption, price spiral, anti people policies, loot during the last ten years of Congress rule. During the Janasangharsh Yatra in entire Delhi from 11th to 25th February, 2012, two crore people of Delhi had given clear signal that they want to see the BJP as the ruling party. They are completely disillusioned with the Congress Government which has betrayed the people and increased corruption, price rise etc. and they are not ready to see the Congress rule any more. The atmosphere of victory for the BJP is ready. It is the responsibility of every worker that he should contact every voter of Delhi and bring them from their houses to the polling booth and help him to vote so that the Congress Party which has insulted the Constitution is routed in Delhi. He reminded about the statement of Shri L.K. Advani given on the 26th February in Ramlila Maidan that the Party which wins Delhi rules the country.
Shri Gupta further told that the MCD elections shall provide new directions to the country. The entire society is strongly opposing the Congress Party. Congress Government has no leadership, no economic policy, no credit, indecisive and involved in corruption. The people of the country are fed up with the anti people and corruption oriented policies of the UPA Government for the last eight years. People want to get rid of Congress Government. The victory in Delhi will decide the agenda of future elections.
In his concluding remarks he called upon the workers of Delhi that they should forget their differences in the larger interest of the country and start working for making BJP victorious with larger margins in all the three Corporations because the MCD elections are going to write a new history of BJP’s victory. BJP is a big Party in which every worker is tested for his hard work, honesty, dedication to the Party and integrity. Responsibilities are given to the workers according to their capacities. The future of the people who could not be given opportunity to contest in the elections this time due to any reason, are very bright. By utilizing their services on other occasion, they shall be certainly awarded for their hard work.
