BJP initiates public movement in entire Delhi from tomorrow

THE VOICE TO PROTEST AGAISNST INCREASED POWER TARIFF WILL BE RAISED CONTINUOUSLY FOR 40 DAYS – VIJENDER GUPTA 

BJP will start 14 day strong public movement tomorrow in entire Delhi for creating public awareness on the issue of hike in the price of cooking gas, power tariff, FDI, scams by Government etc. During this movement all the senior National and Pradesh leaders will hold meetings. BJP will provide information with proof about the connivance between Delhi Government, Power Companies and DERC in increasing power tariff. 

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta gave this information to the press persons. On the first day of movement tomorrow (14th October) thousands of BJP workers will stage dharna-demonstration at Badrinath Mandir Park, Kashmiri Bagh, Dr. Mujje Chowk, Khajuri Chowk, below Shahdara Pul, Pipal Chowk Khanpur, Peeragarhi Chowk, Opposite Richi-Rich, Tagore Garden, Uttam Nagar terminal, Shahdara Metro Station, Garhi Village, Prahladpur Chowk, Jahangirpuri Metro Station etc. and demand resignation of Chief Minister and the Government. 

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Miss Vani Tripathi, Vijay Goel, Dharmendra Pradhan, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Rameshwar Chaurasiya, Thawarchand Gehlot, Mangeram Garg, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Pawan Sharma, Vijay Jolly, Ashish Sood, Meenakshi Lekhi, Vishakha Shailani etc. leaders will lead the demonstration to be held at various places in Delhi tomorrow. During this 40 day public movement, the party workers will burn effigy Government at prominent intersections of Delhi everyday. During this period, BJP will apprise the people through pamphlets, publicity media, corner plays, puppet shows etc. that how this Government is exploiting the people and committing bungling of thousands of crores everyday. 

Shri Gupta further told that the days of Congress Government are a few. History is witness of the fact that when a Government starts committing atrocities on the people, it is ultimately dislodged. The present UPA Government and Delhi Government have broken all the records of the corruption. Every possible effort is made to suppress the voice of the people who raise their voice against it. This Government is going on the path of dictatorship. Democratic values and democratic institutions are being weakened. The Government is working like a profiteer in place of being a public welfare oriented ruler. After privatisation of power now, water supply is also being privatized. Due to this privatisation water will become so much costly that the people will crave for water.
