Demonstration/Public Meeting and Effigy burning at Begumpur to oppose FDI

MANMOHAN SINGH HAS RESUFFULED HIS MINISTRY ONLY TO WELCOME FDI – DR. SAMBIT PATRA 

New Delhi, 30th October. Today, BJP organised another big public meeting at Begumpur Crossing to protest against FDI. Addressing the public meeting Pradesh Spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra said that Manmohan Singh has reshuffled his Ministry so that corporate culture may dominate India and the foreign companies may expand their business here. This situation may be very dangerous for the people of the country because the traditional trade will be ruined after the entry foreign companies and a new kind of scarcity and profiteering will crop up which will ruined the country. He told the people present on this occasion that they should oppose FDI with full force. Demonstrations and public meetings were organised at many places in Delhi to protest against FDI today. 

Hundreds of traders, consumers, BJP workers and local citizens participated in the public meeting at Begumpur today. After the meeting which continued for 2 hours, people raised anti Government slogans and burnt the effigies of FDI and the Government. S.Shri Prithaviraj Sahani, Kulwant Rana, Jagroshani, Jai Bhagwan Yadav, Ved Prakash (Satish), Kailash Agrawal etc leaders were present on this occasion. 

Pradesh Vice President Prithavi Raj Sahani told that the way in which Delhi Government is implementing FDI first of all in Delhi indicates that this Government is not concerned at all about the interest of 2 crore peoples and 10 lakh traders of Delhi. The way in which Delhi Government is praising FDI and welcoming it, shows that this Government has committed scam in this case also. He has also demanded enquiry into this case. 

Legislator Kulwant Rana categorically told that BJP will continue to oppose FDI till this Government stops implementing FDI in Delhi. He further told that on the day lakhs of people shall rise against FDI, Congress Government will be dislodged.
