Sheila says FDI will create 50 lakh employments

Chief Minister should explain how only 1902 people could get employment during the last 14 years rule – Vijender Gupta 

New Delhi, 23rd Oct. Inaugurating a dispensary in Baljeet Nagar today, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told the people on this occasion that when FDI in retail is being opposed every where in the country, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is welcoming FDI in Delhi. She has said that FDI will help creating employment for 50 lakh young persons. Shri Gupta has raised a question to the Chief Minister that why only 1902 persons could get employment during her 14 years rule? 

On the occasion of Dussehra many Ramlila Committees of the capital are burning effigies of Ravanas of corruption, price spiral etc. The acrimony of the people against anti people policies of the Government is being expressed in the form of burning of the effigies of Ravanas of corruption and price spiral. The people are very much suffering due to price spiral in the capital. Families earning upto 20 thousand rupees per month are not able to maintain their families. The population of the poor in Delhi is about 50% of total population i.e. more than one crore. These poor people earn from Rs. 3000 to 8000 per month. They can not afford nutritious food due to price spiral & corruption. Their children are not getting the basic amenities like education, health etc. 

Chief Minister claims that she has made all round development in Delhi during last 14 years. But one can not find sufficient number of teachers in the Govt. schools and Doctors & medicines in the hospitals. Transport facilities are insufficient for the villages and outer Delhi people. Govt. made misleading announcement about regularising 895 unauthorised colonies. The Revenue Department of Govt. says that under the present laws these colonies can not be regularised. Chief Minister is organising functions for her own honour which is fraud with the people. 

Shri Gupta further told that on 22nd October, 2012, the DERC approved new slab rates as directed by the Govt. This has exposed connivance between Govt., DERC and power companies. Govt. is claiming that it has decreased power tariff, but after analysing the new slab rates, it is clear that the DERC and the Govt. have given to the power consumers by one hand and taken by other. In capital even a poor person consumes 250 to 300 units power. Middle class families consume 450 to 750 units power per month. In this situation the Govt. has misled the people by getting its new slab rates approved by the DERC. 

BJP demands that without having regard to quantity of power consumed the consumers should be charged at the rate of Rs. 2.40 paise per unit. Power has become a basic requirement. The common man has to spend 50% of his income on paying the power & water bill which is a great injustice with him. BJP will continue its movement till the people get relief in power & water tariff.
