BJP WILL STAGE DHARNA AT JANTAR MANTAR TO PROTEST AGAINST PRICE SPIRAL AND FORCE THE CONGRESS GOVERNMENT TO OPEN ITS EYES AND EARS

Under the leadership of Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta thousands of BJP workers will stage Dharna on 12th Nov, Friday at Jantar Mantar to protest against indifferent attitude of the Government on the issue of Government sponsored price spiral and try to awaken the Government.

Many senior party leaders and office bearer will address the Dharna. Due to heavy increase in the price of petrol, the life of the people in Delhi is in great difficulty. If the Central and Delhi Governments desist from earning profit then the petrol can be sold at the rate of Rs. 40 per liter in the capital. Here, the prices of food grains, edible oil, fruits, vegetables are sky rocketing. People in Delhi are unable to maintain their families due to price spiral. Expenses on the fees and health of the children have also increase immensely.

Pradesh President told that the Central and Congress Government have made hundreds of false promises to curb price spiral. Inspite of the promises, it is increasing day by day. The conditions are so bad that the prices of essential commodities increased by 10 percent every month. Government is not taking any concrete steps to curb price spiral.

He further told that if Delhi Government desires it can open Government booths to sell food grains, oil, milk and milk products, fruits, vegetables to the people at fair price. The steps that should have been taken to provide relief to the people from inflation are not been taken deliberately.

Adding insult to injury of the people, the Chief Minister and other Congress leaders are saying that inflation is the indicator of development. The people of Delhi earn more hence they are not affected by price rise. These statements of the Government are sufficient to prove that the Government does not want to curb price spiral. This Government is well wishers touts, profiteers and middle man.
