FOUNDATION STONE FOR MCD PRIMARY SCHOOL LAID IN SECTOR-7, ROHINI


BJP AIMS AT MAKING DELHI A FULLY LITERATE STATE – VIJENDER GUPTA

Laying the foundation stone of a modern school of 26 rooms being constructed by the MCD at the cost of Rs. 2.60 crore in Rohini Sector-7, today BJP Delhi President Shri Vijender Gupta told the people present on the occasion that till every child is educated and follows the path of development “Sabko Siksha Do” campaign of BJP will continue.

It may be mentioned that after taking over as the Mayor of MCD Mrs. Rajni Abbi and BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta have together continued the “Sabko Siksha Do” campaign. Under this campaign so far more than one dozens schools have been opened in those areas where there was no arrangement for primary education.  Children had to walk on foot miles for attending primary school.

BJP wants that all the children of rural Delhi, unauthorized colonies, slum clusters etc. get education who are deprived of it. Under this program, foundation of primary schools have been laid or inaugurated in villages and far flung areas of Delhi. Pradesh President participated in these programs so that the party workers may create conducive atmosphere for it.      

On the occasion of laying foundation stone, the Chairman of MCD Education Committee Dr. Mahendra Nagpal mentioned about giving Rs. 500 to each child for school dress, sweater and also providing laptop to the children studying in class 4th and 5th and said that the corporation is committed for providing modern and progressive education to the children. The Chairman of Rohini Zone Pravesh Vahi called upon the parents of Delhi that they should send their children to MCD schools so that Delhi may become fully literate state.
