BJP workers take out padytatra in prominent markets of Delhi to oppose FDI in retail in Delhi and to support tomorrow's 'Bandh'

Under the leadership of BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, the BJP workers took out Padyatra in entire Chandni Chowk market to protest against the decision of Government to allow FDI in retail trade in India and apprised the traders about its evil consequences.  Traders of Chandni Chowk participated in the padyatra of BJP in large numbers and demonstrated their acrimony against the decision of the Government which will ruin the retail trade.  BJP workers and traders together raised slogans 'Khudra Vyapar Ko - Tabah Mat Karo - Tabah Mat Karo', 'Manmohan Singh Hosh Main Aao', 'Videshi Companiyo Par Rok Lagao' etc.

The BJP workers also took out padyatra in prominent markets of Delhi like Connaught Place, Sadar Bazar, Karol Bagh, Kamla Nagar, Darya Ganj, Lajpat Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Moti Nagar, Pankha Road, Rajender Nagar, Tri Nagar, Rohini, Dwarka, Najafgarh, Vikas Marg, Shahdara, Mayur Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Preet Vihar, Pitampura etc. and appealed to the traders to make the "Bharat Bandh" and "Delhi Bandh" successful.

BJP has decided to burn effigies of the Government to protest against its decision to allow FDI in multi brand retail at 20 prominent places of Delhi.  In this programme the BJP workers under the leadership of their respective office bearers will stage massive demonstration at Town Hall, Chandni Chowk, Madhuban Chowk, Pitampura, Indira Chowk, New Kondli, Bata Chowk Central Market Lajpat Nagar, Uttam Nagar Chowk, Madhuban Chowk Vikas Marg, Hamdard Chowk, Raghuvir Nagar Chowk, Ajmal Khan Road Karol Bagh, Prerna Chowk Tri Nagar, M-Block Market Greater Kailash, Avantika Chowk, Rohini, Maujpur Chowk, Mahipalpur Chowk, Khazuri Chowk etc. and burn effigy of Congress Government to protest against anti people decision of Government.

Shri Vijender Gupta has strongly criticised the statement of the Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit in which she has supported the decision of the Government to allow FDI in retail trade in the capital and has said that the Chief Minister has become fully despotic.  As the Chief Minister of Delhi she should have tried to stop the foreign companies to start their business because it will result in rendering more than 10 lakh traders of Delhi unemployed.  But she is supporting the Central Congress Government so that she may remain safe on her post.  Shri Gupta has warned the Chief Minister that if she ruins the trade and traders of Delhi then her Government will not survive.
