BJP workers will visit 20 lakh houses under a signature campaign for submission to the President

BJP will initiate signature campaign for demanding enquiry into corruption by Central and Delhi Governments and removing Sheila Dikshit from her post and CBI enquiry against her

           New Delhi, 20th August.  BJP Delhi Pradesh will initiate 21 days signature campaign on 23rd August demanding enquiry into corruption by Central and Delhi Governments and removing Sheila Dikshit from her post after being found involved in corruption and CBI enquiry against her. 

            Giving this information to the press persons, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that during its signature campaign, the BJP workers will visit more than 20 lakh families and apprise them of the corrupt activities of Congress and get their signatures for getting support.  On the conclusion of signatures from the people will be collected and submitted to the Hon'ble President. 

            With the submission of the letters, BJP will request the President that she should take necessary legal steps against the corruption by the Congress immediately.  She should direct the removal of the corrupt Chief Minister of Delhi who has been found guilty for corruption in the CWG by the Shunglu Committee and the CAG.  She should also order for CBI enquiry into all her corrupt activities during 12 years rule of Smt. Dikshit. 

            Through the signature campaign Delhi BJP will show that the corruption is at its climax in the country and Delhi.  Many Central Governments Ministers and leaders are in jail.  Shunglu Committee and CAG have found Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit to be involved in corruption, but the Government is not taking any action on this corruption.  Hence the BJP workers will demand the President that Smt. Sheila Dikshit should immediately be removed from her post and CBI enquiry initiated against her.  BJP workers will get this form signed by the people of Delhi.  The paper related to signature will contain the name of citizen signing the form, address, telephone Nos. and the signatures.

            Pradesh President told the press persons that the BJP has started a consistent fight against corruption of Delhi Government, its anti people policies, price spiral, bungling of 70 thousand crore rupees in the CWG for the last one and quarter year, but even after that neither the Prime Minister nor the President has given any directions for action against the corrupt persons in Government.  Hence the BJP will submit signatures of more than 20 lakh people to the first citizen the President of India so that she may understand that seriousness of the situation and may issue directions to the Central Government for action against the Chief Minister of Delhi and Delhi Government immediately.  The last ray of hope is only from the Hon'ble President Smt. Pratibha Patil.  Hence BJP will meet her Highness and request her to punish the corrupt persons.
