FAILING TO DEBATE GAMES BUNGLING IS UNFORTUNATE

Sit Of CBI Should Enquire Into The Games Bungling Impartially And Seriously – Vijender Gupta

New Delhi 30^th August.  Welcoming the formation of Special Investigation Team (SIT) by the CBI for enquiring into the bungling in CWG, Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the SIT should enquire into the Games bungling impartially and seriously and not a single accused person should be spared however high profiled he or she may be. Terming the rejection of debate in Delhi Legislative Assembly on the Shunglu Committee and CAG reports yesterday by the main accused of the CWG, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in Delhi Legislative Assembly as unfortunate, he told that Smt. Sheila Dikshit cannot save herself by avoiding debate. BJP will compel Delhi Government to account for every paisa of public money.

Yesterday the BJP Legislators had demanded for debate on both the reports in the current session of Delhi Legislative Assembly. The Chief Minister rejected this demand because she knew that if these bungling are discussed in Legislative Assembly then the corruption of Delhi Government and Central Government will come to light and the Government will be exposed. By adopting such methods, the scams cannot be covered up. The way, in which responsible persons occupying high positions in Delhi Government and the Central Government committed bungling of thousands of crores, the people of Delhi are aware. They have decided to remove the Congress Government. The Congress candidates shall have to face the consequences of the deeds of Chief Minister and Congress Government.

Shri Gupta told that Prime Minister had himself constituted Shunglu Committee. This Committee had directly found that the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit committed bungling of thousands of crores by misusing her position, manipulating the documents and port sharing of public money. More than four months time has elapsed since the report of Shunglu Committee was submitted to the Prime Minister. This committee had submitted its third report on the 16^th April, 2011. Prime Minister has not taken any concrete action against Mrs. Sheila Dikshit as yet. Due to the movements of BJP the CBI has constituted a SIT for enquiry into the Games bungling. BJP hopes that the SIT will go into the depth of this serious bungling and send Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and her colleagues behind the bars.

The statement of Chief Minister that the Shunglu Committee and CAG have simply accused the Delhi Government is very ridiculous. Former Communication Minister A.Raza and MP Kanimonjhi have been accused of bungling yet they are behind the bars since months. A.Raza had to resign on the charges of 2G Spectrum bungling. Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is not resigning in spite of serious allegations and proofs. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Congress party are supporting the Chief Minister in her efforts to save herself. Congress adopts a different attitude for its party men and adopts different attitude for the people of other parties. The people of Delhi and the country know about the corrupt Congress party and its leaders. Now, the days of Congress are coming to an end.
