New Delhi, 3rd August. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that after Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit being found guilty of bungling of thousands of crores in the CWG, they should ask her to resign and after registering case send her to jail so that the Chief Minister may not destroy the proof and influence the witnesses.
Shri Gupta told that before this report the Shunglu Committee appointed by the Prime Minister, CBI, CVC, eight constitutional bodies have found Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and her family members guilty of forgery, fraud, manipulation in tenders and misuse of office. Even after that the Congress Party and the Prime Minister has not taken any action against the Chief Minister.
Pradesh President told that the CAG in its latest report has devoted 80 pages on the corrupt activities of the Chief Minister. The CAG has found Chief Minister guilty for corruption in the construction of Barapulla project, the construction near Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium, planting trees, disposal of garbage etc. CAG has also found that the Chief Minister decided to import foreign street lighting at very high cost due to which there was loss of public money. The Chief Minister also purchase plant of about 28 crores from outside whereas these plants were available in the Government nurseries. Now the Government is obliged to dismiss Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and send her to jail.
Shri Vijender Gupta told that if the Government does not take action against the Chief Minister of Delhi immediately then BJP will start strong movement.
