Vijender Gupta starts campaign at GTB Nagar Metro Station

SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN OF BJP DEMANDING REMOVAL OF SHEILA DIKSHIT AND  CBI ENQUIRY AGAINST CM IN CWG SCAM, STARTS WITH GREAT ZEAL

New Delhi, 23^rd August.  Today BJP Delhi Pradesh started signature campaign in entire Delhi demanding removal of corrupt Chief Minister of Delhi and CBI enquiry against her.  This campaign will continue for 21 days during this campaign the Party workers will visit 20 lakh families of Delhi and get the signatures of the family members on a form demanding removal of corrupt Chief Minister and CBI enquiry against her. On the conclusion of the campaign more than one crore signatures will be submitted to the President of India Pratibha Patil and BJP leaders will demand for establishing the dignity of the constitution and the laws.  Today more than 50 thousand people signed the forms of BJP in the signature campaign started in GTB Nagar and other districts.

          Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta started the signature campaign at GTB Nagar Metro Station today in the morning.  Addressing the workers and local citizens, he told that the intentions of Congress Government are not good.  This Government is completely corrupt.  People in Central and Delhi Governments are completely involved in corruption.  This is the reason why even after being found guilty for bungling by the Shunglu Committee and the CAG, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has not resigned.

          The signature campaign started at 8.30 a.m. in Mayur Vihar District. In the presence of BJP leaders, BJP workers got the signatures of the people at Sign Home Chowk, Acharya Niketan and Preet Vihar Metro Station.  On this occasion SarvaShri Om Prakash Kohli, Kuljeet Singh Chehal, Nakul Bhardwaj, Virender Sachdeva, Ram Charan Gujrati etc. leaders were present.  Today more than one thousand people signed the forms demanding removal of Sheila Dikshit. In South Delhi District this campaign was started at 10 a.m.   On this occasion the area Legislator and Pradesh General Secretary Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, District President Chhote Ram etc. were present.  In Mehrauli District the signature campaign was started in the afternoon under the leadership of District President Manoj Sharma. 

          In Outer Delhi District the signature campaign started from Sanjay Gandhi Hospital Mangolpuri at 9 a.m.  On this occasion District Incharge and Pradesh General Secretary Shri Ashish Sood, District President Shri Sansar Singh etc. were present.  Under the leadership of National Secretary Arti Mehra, Pradesh Vice President Shri Vijay Jolly, Pradesh Treasurer Shri Anil Goel and Convenor of Prevention of Corruption Cell Shri Anil Garg, thousands of people resolved to remove Sheila Dikshit and save Delhi by fixing their signatures on the forms at Select City Mall Saket. In Tilak Nagar Market of West Delhi District the signature campaign was initiated under the leadership of Pradesh Co-Incharge Shri Navjot Singh Sidhu, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, District President Rajiv Babbar.  In the Najafgarh District the signature campaign was started under the leadership of Pradesh Vice President Shri Pawan Sharma, District President Shri Suman Sharma at Uttam Nagar Terminal.

          During the signature campaign, the BJP leaders told that the Chief Minister of Delhi rejected the Shunglu Committee report which shows her shamelessness.  Now she has also questioned the role of CAG.  This is not good sign for democracy.  The people of Delhi are suffering due to price rise and lack of basic amenities. The people of unauthorised colonies are fed up of waiting for the regularization of their colony, but the Congress Government did not fulfil its promise even after distributing provisional certificates.  Due to this there is great acrimony among the people.  BJP has decided that untill the corrupt Chief Minister is not removed from her post for bungling in CWG and CBI enquiry is ordered by the Prime Minister, the BJP will continue its movement.
