Lt. Governor should make recommendation for dismissal of Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan to Home Minister

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta and Leader of Opposition in Delhi State Assembly Prof Vijay Kumar Malhotra demanded that after serious note and ramarks by the Hon’ble Court, Delhi Minister Mr. Raj Kumar Chauhan has no moral or legal ground to remain as a Minister. BJP leaders demanded that if Raj Kumar Chauhan fails to give his resignation then Lt. Governor should intervene in recommend for his removal. 

In the past Delhi High Court in forged provisional certificate of unauthorised colonies scam in which 150 forged provisional certificates were distributed by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Revenue Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan in 2008, when this issue came to light after that suddenly these files were stolen from the concerned Government offices taking serious note on this High Court directed for the registration of FIR and immediate arrest and prosecution accused person involved in this scam. 

In the year 2008, near to Assembly elections, the Congress Party President and Chief Minister of Delhi have distributed these certificates and tried their level best to win the faith of 50 lakh people living in unauthorised colonies just before the elections in a big function at Chhatrasal Stadium. It was publically announced and false assurances were given that after the distribution of these certificates now the development works can easily be started after the elections. By making such false promises with the people of Delhi, somehow the Congress came into power, but not a single development work has been done because of Congress leaders were involved in this scam. 50 lakh people feels cheated by Congress ruled Delhi Government. 

BJP has also raised and investigated independently and collected information about provisional certificate scam and were given to the media. In the investigation BJP has found that there were about 150 colonies which can’t be regularised as per the existing norms. The intention behind giving provisional certificates to such colonies given by the Congress Government were to earn hundreds of crore rupees with the connivance of land mafia in Delhi. Delhi Government has made their best effort to tone down the issue with the help of the Central Government of their own Party. BJP has strongly lodged their protest with the Lt. Governor as well as on the roads on this issue. Only after that when documentary evidence came out in the public domain only then Lokayukta was convinced and enquiry was initiated and in the investigation it was found that BJP’s allegation true there was evidence of manipulation, forgery, misrepresentation of facts on the basis of such facts Lokayukta found high level manipulation have taken place in this scam by Delhi Government.
