Addressing the media, BJP leaders said the prices of fruits and vegetables has gone out of reach of the common man in Delhi.  Poor man is compelled to cook potato and onion as a vegetable, because sky rocketing vegetable retail prices are very high.  Earning in Delhi 80% population is less than 10 thousand only per family.  BJP leaders raised question to be answered by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit how can a family of six members can survive in the expensive city like Delhi in which the transportation expenditure of the family Rs. 150 and Public Districtution System is full of corruption.
