BJP Pradesh President visit the place of incident of fire in J.J. Cluster

VIJENDER GUPTA DEMANDS GRANT OF Rs. 25000 EACH TO VICTIM FAMILIES OF INCIDENT OF FIRE NEAR G.B. PANT HOSPITAL J.J. CLUSTER

New Delhi, 24th June. BJP Pradesh President visited the place of incident of fire in which the J.J. Cluster was fully burnt down in the incident of fire. He has demanded grant of Rs. 25000 each as relief from Delhi Government to all the 450 families affected by the incident of fire. Poor people were living in this old J.J. Cluster behind G.B. Pant Hospital. Their entire belongings were burnt down in this incident of fire. The conditions are so bad that these poor families do not have even drinking water. Neither the Chief Minister nor any Minister or Officer has visited the place of incident till date

At the time of visit to the place of incident Pradesh President alongwith Vivek Sharma, Atif Rasheed, Riyazuddin Malik, Hafir Mohammad Sabreen, Md. Waseem, Nizamuddin Advocate Rajesh Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Abid Nawad were present. Shri Gupta told that the Government talk loudly about disaster management but nothing like disaster management was seen in the area affected by the incident of fire. These people who have lost everything do not have even food grain to eat, utensils, clothes, bedding etc. The worst condition of the women and children who are braving the scorching sun. The Government has not provided even Tent for temporary shelter. The affected people told Shri Gupta that the Government has neither provided tanker of drinking water nor food to them. In reply Shri Gupta told that the Government should immediately provide food, utensils clothes, tent, drinking water to the needy persons and medical camp at the place of incident so that they may get medical facility.
Shri Gupta told that the Government does not seem to be fully ready to face the situation of disaster. The Government knows that during the summer season, incidents of fire take place at various places. The Government should have made arrangements for fire brigades and arrangements for providing relief to the victims on war footing. Delhi Government has become so much inhuman for the common man that no department of the Government considered it’s proper to visit the place of incident. It may be mentioned that most of the poor minority families were living in these Jhuggis since long. Now these people have been completely ruined.
