Heavy corruption in Commonwealth Games

COURT ORDERS FILING FIR AGAINST SHEILA DIKSHIT, CM SHOULD RESIGN IMMEDIALELY – VIJENGER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that after dithering for about nine months, today Tis Hazari Court has ordered Delhi Police to register case of corruption of thousands of crores in the Commonwealth Games by the head of Delhi Government Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and start investigation by its Crime Branch immediately.

Shri Gupta has said that now Delhi Police should register FIR with complete impartiality and transparency against the loot of public money and take action against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan. He said that it is the requirement of impartiality that after the orders to register FIR Chief Minister and the Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan should resign immediately so the Delhi Police may complete its investigation without any pressure.

In December, 2011, Advocate Vivek Garg had petitioned Tis Hazari Court that Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has committed corruption of thousands of crores in the renovation work of five Stadia including JLN Stadium, Talkatora Stadium, Shivaji Stadium etc. He also submitted concrete proof before the court. Learned Advocate told the court that he had submitted petition for registering case and enquiry to the Delhi Police and the Crime Branch against heavy corruption in the Commonwealth Games against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Since Delhi Police was under the influence of the Chief Minister hence it did not file FIR against the Chief Minister and others. Due to this, the petitioner had to go to the court for this purpose. Even this case has been pending before the court for nine months and the Delhi Police tried to prolong it on one pretext or the other. Delhi Police had informed the court that the case has been forwarded to the CBI for enquiry. Hence the responsibility of Delhi Police is over. It may be mentioned that according to the present rules and laws only Central Government, State Government, High Courts and the Supreme Court can recommend for CBI enquiry.

Today the Court asked the Delhi Police that under which power it recommended enquiry against the Chief Minster by the CBI. The police could not answer this question. Taking serious view of the case, the court found the petition of learned Advocate maintainable. Hence the police will have to file FIR against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan and start enquiry.

It would be proper to mention here that the Chief Minister herself had written the Central Government that the renovation work of all the Stadia written completed in 1000 crore rupees. After sometime she herself accelerated the amount to 2500 crores which is illegal according to the rules and it comes in the category of crime. The finance committee of Delhi Government has powers to sanction works upto 5 crore rupees. Projects more than 5 crore rupees are approved by the cabinet. Since the Chief Minister is the head of cabinet, she increased the amount of 1000 crore rupees to 2500 crore rupees with her signature. Now investigation will be held into this corrupt activity.

IMPORTANT WORKSHOP OF SDMC ON VECTOR BORNE DISEASES

An important workshop was organised by the SDMC in Civic Centre on the subject of protection of the people from vector borne diseases. Many RWAs, Corporation Officials, Government Officials and Member of the public participated and learned about the measures to be taken for protection from vector borne diseases.

Addressing the workshop, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that although the Rainy season makes the earth green and prosperous, it also gives birth to many diseases during the season. Many worms, bacteria, virus, mosquitoes are born due to which the people have to face many diseases. Delhi is the capital of India where the population is about 2 crores. The density of the population in Delhi is also on higher side. Due to this there is more danger of vector borne diseases.

He further told that prevention is better than cure of diseases. If the people start preventive measures before the out break of the diseases then they will remain healthy and may not have to spend unnecessarily on medicines. The BJP, through all the Corporations has undertaken to protect the people of Delhi from vector borne diseases. This workshop was organised by the SDMC in this directions. Lakhs of people will be benefit from this awareness programme.

The Mayor of SDMC Smt. Savita Gupta presided over the workshop. Distinguish guests S. Shri Subhash Arya, Rajesh Gehlot, Sudeshwati, Shailender Singh etc. addressed the people participating in the workshop. Mayor Savita Gupta expressed her gratitude to all the persons who participated in the workshop. She told the representatives of RWAs that if there is any apprehension of vector borne diseases in their areas, then they should immediately take the help of Municipal Corporation.

BJP TO ORGANISE A BIG PUBLIC MEETING ON 4th SEPTEMBER TO PROTEST AGAINST HEAVY CORRUPTION IN ALLOCATION OF COAL BLOCKS

BJP Delhi Pradesh has organised a big public meeting at Delhi Pradesh Headquarters on the 4th September to apprise every person about the heavy corruption of about 2 lakh crores committed by the Congress Government and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the allocation of coal blocks. Shri Arun Jaitely, Smt. Sushma Swaraj and other senior leaders shall address this meeting. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta will preside over the public meeting.

Giving this information, Shri Gupta told that Prime Minister who claims to be honest has actually committed heavy corruption. Constitutional body CAG has exposed this corruption; this has removed the veil of honesty from the face of Prime Minister. Everyday new scams are being revealed. The media, Government departments, honest officers of the Government have said that there was neither transparency nor honesty in the allocation of coal blocks.

BJP has demanded the resignation of the Prime Minister for the biggest corruption of recent times. The Congress people are shameless. The party says that there has been no corruption in the allocation whereas the departmental secretary had cautioned the Ministers and Prime Ministers in writing that the Government will sustain loss of lakhs of crores the way in which the coal blocks are being allocated.

The Secretary had advised about bidding process to the Prime Minister but he refused. Now it has been reliably learnt that the PMO allocated coal block to the brother of Minister Subodh Kant Sahay within a day. Similarly, many fictitious companies were allocated coal blocks which sold the allocation to other companies and earned profit. These companies had no experience of coal mining.

Shri Gupta told that BJP is fighting against this big corruption in the Parliament but it will take this issue to every village, city and person of the country so that 110 crore people suffering from corruption and price rise may resolve to dislodge Congress Government. At present the country needs honest and public welfare minded Government like the BJP. The country wants Government like BJP. Many surveys by the Media have clearly indicated that the people want the end of UPA rule and of the BJP to rule again the country.

Heavy corruption in the allocation of coal

Strong demonstration by the Yuva Morcha demanding resignation of the Prime Minister

Under the campaign of the Party to fight decisive battle from the Parliament to the streets demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his involvement in the heavy corruption in allocation of coal blocks, thousands of BJYM workers staged a big demonstration at Jantar Mantar raising slogans ‘Ab To Yeh Spasht Hai – Manmohan Singh Bhrasht Hai’. BJYM National President Shri Anurag Thakur & BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta led the demonstration.

When the demonstrators proceeded towards the Prime Minister’s office, the police took them into custody. The prominent leaders who were taken into custody are SarvaShri Vijender Gupta, Anurag Thakur, Pradesh Yuva Morcha President Nakul Bhardwaj.

Addressing the demonstrators Shri Vijender Gupta told that the most corrupt Government by the Congress which has been claiming to be the protector of the Constitution, has proved that it does not believe in the Constitution of India. When the constitutional body like CAG has accused the Prime Minister directly of corruption of 1.86 lakh crore rupees then the law requires that Shri Manmohan Singh should resign for impartial & transparent enquiry into it so that the investigating agencies may not be pressurized by the PMO. By failing to do so the Congress is trying to justify its crime in this case. It wants to entangle opposition and other political parties in debate and suppress the case of corruption. BJP wants impartial enquiry into the case and punishment to the guilty persons and hence it is demanding the resignation of the P.M. within legal limits.

Shri Anurag Thakur told that BJP will not remain silent in this case. UPA-II Government has broken all the records of corruption. Every day some scam is exposed and entire Congress Government and Congress Party starts covering up that scam. This Government is the Govt. of scams. 110 crore people of the country are badly suffering due to price rise and corruption. Now the country wants to dismiss the Congress Government.
Shri Nakul Bhardwaj told that the way in which the Central Government is involved in corrupt practices the same way Sheila Government is roaming free even after committing corruption of thousands of crores. Many constitutional institutions have recommended for enquiry against Sheila Government, but she remains free from the enquiry into her corruption due to the protection of Congress President Sonia Gandhi & Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. SarvaShri Manoranjan Mishra, Nitin Cag, Rajesh Yadav, Anuj Sharma etc. leaders participated in the strong demonstration today.

BJP stages secretariat march on the problems of the poor

Today BJP staged march from Shahidi Park to Delhi Secretariat on the issue of failure of Government to provide cheap ration and other facilities to the thousands of poor families of South Delhi. Thousands of poor families staged demonstration raising anti Government slogans. They had to say that the Congress Government has done nothing for them during the last 14 years.

Before the start of march Shri Vijender Gupta addressed the people participating in the march. He told that the Sheila Dikshit Government has become despotic and behaving in arbitrary manner. This Government is completely involved in corruption. It has neither policy nor plans for the common man. Congress Government has become the Government of profiteers, touts and mafia. It would be better to bid good bye to this Government as soon as possible.

Shri Ramesh Bidhuri said that government is committing fraud with the BPL & APL Ration Card holders. Government has framed a plan to stop supplying kerosene to the poor families, but it does not know that the poor families who spent only Rs. 150/- on kerosene for preparing food, how shall they now spent Rs. 400 on a gas cylinder. From where they shall arrange so much money. The Food & Supply Department of Delhi Government is neither supplying ration nor kerosene or sugar to the people.

Shri Vijay Goel, Dr. SCL Gupta, Shri Ashish Sood etc. leaders addressed the people participating in the march. Thousands of poor families of South Delhi were part of this march. BJP South Delhi District President Ch. Chhote Ram and Councilor Neeraj Gupta were also present in the march.

Ineligible persons selected, eligible persons running from pillar to post

Announcement of the Govt. to make Delhi free of j.j. clusters has failed – vijender gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the announcement make by Delhi Government before the CWG in October 2010 to make Delhi free of J.J. Clusters has not been fulfilled till date. What to talk of providing pucca houses to the people of J.J. clusters, the Government is unable to provide cheap rations, kerosene, sugar etc. to the lakhs of BPL cardholders living in the J.J. clusters.

Shri Gupta told that many years ago Rajiv Ratan Aawas Yojna was launched. Under this scheme about 8,000 flats are ready, but due to the pick & choose policy of the Government eligible persons are not getting these flats. Ineligible persons are conspiring to grab these houses by forging documents with the help of Government.

Only 500 families of J.J. cluster, park, Badli industrial area, G.F. Block, Karampura, K.L. Block Wazirpur, Noor Nagar Jama Millia, Bangali Camp East Kidwai Nagar, Arjun Das Camp, Shiv Camp, D.B. Gupta Road J.J. cluster have been allotted flats. But these flats are so much sub-standard that it is difficult to live in them. Hundreds of families who are eligible for these flats are running from pillar to post. Wherever they go for allotment they are driven out.

Similarly during the survey of North-West District, the Government could find only 523 jhuggis whereas the number of such juggis is in thousands. Government allotted flats to only 208 families and thousands of families could not get these flats. Delhi Urban Shelter Development Board is fully responsible for this failure. Even after the construction of 8,000 flats the jhuggis are intact. The plan to make Delhi free of jhuggie clusters remains incomplete.

In view of the next Assembly elections, the Government has promised to give free gas connection with stove & cylinder to about 4 lakh poor families of Delhi and make Delhi kerosene free. There is large scale corruption in this scheme. Government has framed a plan to stop supplying kerosene to the poor families, but it does not know that the poor families who spent only Rs. 150/- on kerosene for preparing food, how shall they now spent 400 Rs.on a gas cylinder. From where they shall arrange so much money. The Food & Supply Department of Delhi Government is neither supplying ration nor kerosene or sugar to the people.

BJP has decided to stage a protest march from Shahidi Park to Delhi Secretariat tomorrow at 11.00 a.m. to highlight the fraud of the Government with the demonstration of thousands of poor families of South Delhi. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, Shri Vijay Goel, Shri Ramesh Bidhuri etc. shall lead the protest march.

BJP inspect the incomplete projects related to Commonwealth Games and expose the corruption by Govt. – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that even after two years of the conclusion of Commonwealth Games many projects worth thousands of crores of rupees are still incomplete. These projects were to be completed by Sept. 2010 but due to corruption, neglige and red taping these projects have not been completed for which Delhi Govt. and Central Govt. are responsible. Shri Gupta has announced that BJP will inspect the sites of incomplete projects and after that expose the corruption of Govt. before the people.

It may be mentioned that before the CWG Delhi Govt. was given various projects of construction, development, beautification worth 30 thousand crore rupees. Many projects are still not complete. In the mean time their cost of construction has also increased. There is apprehension of heavy corruption in these incomplete projects. The conditions are so bad that the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place is still in a chaotic condition due to digging in the entire area. The trade in this central place has been badly affected. The image of the country has been maglind which will not be tolerated by the BJP.

Pradesh President further told that during the CWG, Delhi Govt. and the Central Govt. committed corruption of thousands of crores of rupees together which has been confirmed by CAG, CVC, Shunglu Committee, Lokayukta, Delhi Police and the Inquiry Committee of the BJP. But further investigation in this corruption has not been carried out. The corrupt person under Delhi Govt. are openly destroying the proof and are roaming free. Due to this the trust of Govt. in rule of law has ended.

The Govt. is so much unconstitutional and irresponsible that in place of punishing the corrupt persons it is now thinking of giving clean chit to a corrupt person like Suresh Kalmadi. The Govt. which cannot punish the low level corrupt persons how can be expected that it will punish high profile corrupt persons like Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

DUE TO DIRECTIONLESS POLICIES OF THE GOVERNMENT REGULARISATION OF UNAUTHORISED COLONIES WILL REMAIN PENDING – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that in view of its certain defeat in the forthcoming assembly election, the Congress Government is making frantic efforts. Due to this it is adopting many political stunts. The announcement made by representatives of the Government about regularisation of 917 unauthorised colonies in September itself is a white lie. In the present circumstances and according to the provisions of the Gazette notification not a single colony can be regularised. This Government is trying only to mislead 50 lakh people of unauthorised colonies.

Shri Gupta has given the following information required for the regularisation of unauthorised colonies which have been laid by the Government itself:-

Regulations for the regularisation of unauthorised colonies of Delhi were notified for the information of the general public in the Gazette of India dated 24th March, 2008. Under it 35 criteria were laid down by the Government in this regard.

The colonies could be regularised after fulfilling the required criteria and completing several legal formalities. But after this notification the intentions of the Government changed and it issued a second Gazette notification on the 16th June which was meant to benefit the Congress Government. In this notification many hurdles in the regularisation of the colonies were created. The power of the survey of colonies was taken back from the MCD and handed over to the survey of India which was improper.

The Government deprived the MCD of its powers to approved lay out plan, boundary wall and other legal formalities and authorised itself for political advantage. It would be proper here to mention that in the year 2011, the MCD had amended layout plans of 160 unauthorised colonies and sent back to Delhi Government for further approval. Delhi Government was to fix the boundary walls of these colonies. Out of these the Delhi Government issue public notification for 51 colonies in which objections were invited from the people to the fixing boundary walls of the related colonies. But after that the entire case was put in cold storage.

Hundreds of objections were filed by the people in response to the notification. Due to this Delhi Government became worried and postponed regularisation of all the unauthorised colonies. Shri Gupta has asked the Chief Minister when the Government had issued gazette notification for the regularisation of colonies on 24th March, 2008 then why another complicated Gazette notification was issued on 16th June, 2008 for taking the credit in this regard. When the MCD sent the layout plans of 160 colonies to Delhi Government then why the concerned papers were not returned to the MCD after fixing the boundary walls of these colonies and giving required approval?

When the authority to fix boundary wall and approved layout plan was with MCD then why Delhi Government took over this authority to keep the case pending and why it issued fresh notification dated 16th June, 2011? Why the Government assigned the work of fixing boundary wall of unauthorised colonies to IP University whereas this university had never done this job. This university has not fixed boundary walls of any unauthorised colonies till date. In the mean time people moved the High Court of Delhi. Hon’ble High Court issued two orders to the effect that before regularising any unauthorised colony, it should firstly appraise the court in writing about completion of all the legal formalities and about providing all the basic amenities.

DDA has completely failed in solving housing problem in delhi

Housing Development Board should be set up for solving the problem of housing in the capital – Vijender Gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that Delhi Development Authority has completely failed to solve the housing problem in Delhi and develop the capital during the last 55 years of its existence. He has demanded the Prime Minister and Central Urban Development Minister that the monopoly of the DDA and its conduct as private builder should be ended. One more Government Housing Agency like Delhi Housing Development Board should be set up on the lines of UP Board in Delhi so that these agencies may compete and the housing problem in Delhi may be solved.

Shri Gupta told that DDA has deviated from its objective. This institution is behaving like a profiteer, builder. Due to this the price of DDA flats has gone upto 7 crore rupees. Paying such a large amount is beyond the capacity of common man. In view of the slow speed of working of DDA its new Vice Chairman Sanjay Kumar has issued orders that a weekly report be produced on every delayed DDA project.

The conditions are so bad that the flats which were sold from Rs. 60 lakh to 1 crore under the 2010 housing scheme of the DDA, no arrangement for power & water has been made so far. Due to this the people who invested their life time earning are In the housing scheme of the year 2010 now badly in the debt trap. About 10 lakh people had applied for flats and plots in the housing scheme of the year 2010. These people are still waiting for their houses.

Clever DDA officers and the Public Relations Department have not updated the website which shows data only upto year 2007. The DDA has constructed only 3,67,724 flats in 50 years up to 2007. This indicates how slow and arbitrarily DDA works. In our country many new builders have constructed lakhs of flats within two years and allotted to the people, but the Government agency like DDA has constructed only 3.67 lakh flats in the last 50 years. The quality of these flats is not in conformity with the standards of construction. Recently the flats allotted in Mukherjee Nagar and Rohini by the DDA are not worth living. The people who have been allotted these flats had taken loan for purchasing the flats. They are paying interest on loan, but their dream for a house has not been fulfilled.

Shri Gupta told that the DDA was set up during the time of Indo-Pak partition because about 17 lakh displaced persons from Pakistan come to Delhi. They required immediate shelter and hence G.D. Birla Committee suggested establishment of DDA and on 30th September, 1957, DDA started working. According to the census of the year 2011 now the population of Delhi has gone upto 2 crores. 47% of the people in the capital do not have houses of their own. In view of the history of DDA it is impossible for it to provide housing to such large number of people. Hence establishment of Delhi Housing Development Board is need of the hour.

IF THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT IMPLEMENT DELHI APARTMENT OWNERSHIP ACT IMMEDIATELY THEN BJP WILL INITIATE MOVEMENT IN ENTIRE DELHI – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP has demanded the Lt. Governor of Delhi and Chief Minister of Delhi that they should implement the provisions of Delhi Apartment Ownership Act 1986 for the benefit of 22 lakh Apartment owners of the capital. Government should implement this Act with immediate effect in the capital so that 22 lakh apartment owners living in multi storied residential buildings may be freed from the clutches of the builders and promoters. This will lead to a positive housing revolution in Delhi and 22 lakh families shall be benefited.

Giving this information to the press persons BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that since Delhi is the capital of India and also a big city of the world hence, Delhi Apartment Ownership Act 1986 was framed to provide many benefits to the apartment owners. After the signatures of the President of India, this Act was notified by Law and Justice Ministry in the Gazette of India dated 23rd December, 1986. This was again notified in 1987 but the provision of the Act was not implemented deliberately. The representatives of Delhi Resident Front (Federation of Association of Apartment Owners) were present with Shri Gupta in the Press Conference.

This Act was put in the cold storage. Shri Gupta has warned the Government and all the related departments that if this Act is not implemented immediately then a strong movement will be started by the party in entire Delhi with the apartment owners demanding implementation of the Act for the benefit of 22 Lakh apartment owner families. Shri Gupta told that the Government and its departments have kept the orders of the High Court pending deliberately so that 22 lakh families of Delhi may not get the benefit of this Act and the loot of builders and promoters may continue.

The Association of Apartment’s Owners have formed Delhi Residents Front Federation in Delhi to fight for the implementation of the provisions Act in Delhi. Delivering its judgement on a public interest litigation in 2007, Delhi High Court issued two separate orders on 28th May, 2010 and 13th July, 2012 to the effect that the provisions of Deed of Apartment and other provisions of DAOA 1986 be implemented immediately.

It is necessary to mention here that with the implementation of this Act, private apartments, Government, Co-operative Group Housing Society apartments, multi storied commercial and residential apartments constructed by the builders may be purchased, transferred, gifted etc freely. Besides this, with the implementation of this Act, the monopoly of Registrar Group Housing Societies, DDA, builders etc over the apartments will come to an end. The Association of Apartment Owners shall get all those rights related to the apartment which are with the promoters of these societies.

Shri Gupta further told that the Government did not implement this Act due to its evil intentions because it has been exploiting 22 lakh apartment owners of Delhi for the last 30 years. Hence competent authorities have not been appointed for implementing the provisions and the bye-laws of the Act even after passing of the Act, approval of the President, notification in the Gazette and three notifications by the Administrator. Government is so much despotic that is it not caring about the stern orders of the High Court issued twice. Government and the department do not want to lose its authority over the apartments. It is also under the pressure of private builders lobby because they have been benefiting by the monopoly.

Various Apartment Owners, Associations and Delhi Resident Fronts met the Ministers, Officers, Lt. Governor, Vice-Chairman of DDA, Registrar Group Housing Societies, Registry Office and requested that according to the directions of the High Court model bye laws should be framed in accordance with the provisions of the Act so that all the necessary documents stock, registers, account books may be transferred to the Apartment Owner Association from the Co-operative Group Housing societies and builders so that related work may be conducted in a democratic way. According to this Act the Apartment Owners Associations shall get the rights to maintain the apartments, operate the bank accounts and keep the registers etc. This will end the exploitation which continues for the last 30 years.

In the present conditions not a single colony can be regularised

Now Delhi Govt. wants to get rid of regularization of unauthorized colonies – Vijender Gupta

The effort of Delhi Govt. to mislead 50 lakh residents of unauthorized colonies by promising them of regularization has been exposed. These colonies can not be regularized till the Central Government makes amendments in the Forest Act, Ridge Management Board Rules, AMASR Act and Delhi High Court also permits such regularization.

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta had previously announced that it is beyond the powers of Delhi Government and the Central Government to regularize 197 colonies. Delhi Govt. will have to face many legal complications in regularization of these colonies. In view of the forthcoming Assembly elections, Delhi Government has again started showing golden dreams to the residents of unauthorized colonies. Chief Minister had announced that 917 colonies shall be regularized at once. All the legal and documentary formalities have been completed.

On the one hand the Chief Minister is openly cheating the people and on the other, it is requesting the Central Urban Development Ministry that the Central Government should go to the High Court and get orders for regularization. It may be mentioned that Delhi High Court has already given orders that if the Government announces about regularizing even one colony and starts development work then it will have to inform the High Court about the legal status of the colonies being regularized. What criteria had been fixed by the Government for regularization? It is also essential to provide the number of colonies, its border, availability of land for providing basic amenities, inhabitation in the colonies upto the year 2007 etc. to the High Court.

Shri Vijender Gupta told that the Government has not completed all the legal and documentary formalities about a single colony. It falsely announced that 917 colonies shall be regularized at once. Now in view of the orders of the Court, it is in a fix. Now it wants to save itself by putting the responsibility of regularization of the colonies on the Central Government.

Poor people can not purchase gas cylinder of rs. 400 : kerosene is cheap fuel

Kerosene free delhi programme is only election stunt – Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, 21st August.  BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that Kerosene Free Delhi programme of the Government is only an election stunt.  Poor people using kerosene in Delhi have not been getting kerosene for the last five years.  They complain that when they go to ration shops they find notice board showing ‘kerosene is not available’.

He has asked the Chief Minister and Food Supply & Consumer Affairs Minister Haroon Yusuf to state that what is the quota of kerosene for Delhi?  How much kerosene is sold in the black-market?  What action has been taken by the Government during the last 14 years against blackmarketeers?  What is the number of families using kerosene?  Whether these families are economically capable to purchase gas cylinders continuously?   Shri Gupta told that the poor people who could cook their food by spending only Rs. 150 on kerosene, how they can purchase a gas cylinder of Rs. 400.  Kerosene is the cheapest and useful fuel for the poor.

Shri Gupta revealed that the data only upto year 2007 is available on the website of Food Department whereas the present year is 2012.  If one looks at the data upto year 2000 then the total number of BPL families in entire Delhi is 4,66,050.  Similarly the number of AAY and JRC card holders is also large.  Besides this more than 10 lakhs such poor families live in capital who have no proof or card of identity with them.

The Government has spent crores of rupees on advertisements to secure the votes of the poor people by promising lollypop of free LPG connections.  The condition is that the applicant must attach details of his bank account with the application form for free gas connections.  How can the people who have no proof of their residence in Delhi give bank account number?  In the definition of the Planning Commission under Central Government it has been stated that the person earning more than 32 Rs. Per day is above poverty line.  This way persons earning Rs. 960 per month will be treated below poverty line.  At present one cylinder of gas costs Rs. 396.  If a poor family will spend 396 rupees for one gas cylinder then how it will fulfill its other need by Rs. 564 only?  The kerosene free Delhi programme of Delhi Government is nothing, but fraud.

Public meeting in constitution club on the assam problem

dislodge congress govt. othewise the country will have to face third partition – nitin gadkari

BJP National President Shri Nitin Gadkari has said that due to the complete failure of Manmohan Govt. and vote bank politics of Congress serious problem has arisen in Assam. There is danger of one more partition of the country due to it. He has appealed to the people of the country that if we have to save India then we will have to dislodge Congress Govt.

Shri Gadkari was addressing a public meeting organized by Delhi BJP on the current issue of Assam in the Constitution Club today. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta presided over the meeting. He demanded that stringent laws should be framed soon to deport all the illegal Bengladeshis living in India and be implemented with immediate effect.

BJP National President told that the Assam problem is not only the problem of Assam, but of all the original citizens of the country. This problem should not be seen from the Hindu-Muslim angle. Assam problem has been created under a conspiracy by illegal Bangladeshis citizens and Congress Govt. This will lead to dangerous consequences if we continue to sit over this problem. Former State Home Minister Shri Sriprakash Jaiswal himself admitted that 1,20,53,000 illegal Bangladeshis are living in our country at present. This problem cropped up during the Prime Ministership of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Now this problem has become very grave.

He further told that open borders of Assam and J & K is about 1500 kms. long. Until concrete wall is not constructed on the entire border, the problem of infiltration will not be solved. Citing the example of a small country like Israel, Shri Gadkari told that he has visited that country 10 times. Israel has constructed strong and tall wall on its 500 kilometer long border and sealed it. Live electric currant passes on the wall 24 hours. Can’t India construct such wall? Only 800 crore rupees are required to construct concrete wall on the 1500 kilometer border of India. The Govt. which commits coal bungling of 1.86 lakh crores, can not that Govt. spent 800 crore rupees for our security.

Addressing the jam packed Constitution Club, Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that the Congress Party and Congress Party allowed the Assam problem to become grave only for vote bank politics. Now this problem has become cancer for the country. The illegal Bangladeshis have changed the political & social structure of Assam. These people are becoming stronger than the original inhabitants of Assam.

Grabbing land, murdering the tribal people, indulging in loot and creating terror among them and claiming to be the citizens of Assam have become tools in the hands of Bangladeshis. They have also become voters in Assam. The condition is so grave that the BJP units in Delhi and Mumbai have sent relief material in the relief camps for the original inhabitants of Assam. It is clear that the original inhabitants have been rendered homeless and unemployed.

Rajya Sabha Member and senior Journalist Shri Chandan Mitra told that the Govt. should experiment with his formula - Dictate, Delete & Deport and should drive out all the illegal Bangladeshis from India so that the country may live in peace. It is surprising that more than 5 lakh original inhabitants of the country are living in relief camps in their own country and crores of illegal Bangladeshis are committing atrocities on them. Assam Govt. and the Central Govt. have failed to provide security to them. This is a matter of national shame.

Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told that the Govt. can not escape its responsibility by holding Pakistan responsible for it. If Pakistan has succeeded in spreading rumour in entire India then what were the Intelligence Agencies and the Govt. doing? This is complete failure of Manmohan Govt. This Govt. has completely failed in providing internal and external security. National General Secretary Shri Vijay Goel told that Manmohan Govt. has also failed in implementing three judgements of the Supreme Court delivered in 2004. If the charges of the Govt. are true then a small country like Pakistan has defeated our country in cyber war. Can not we provide security to our citizens inside the country? Is not this a matter of shame for the Government?

Convener of North-East Contact Cell Shri Sunil Devdhar, Secretary Vani Tripathi, Mayors Meera Aggarwal, Annapurna Mishra, Legislators, Councillors, senior leaders and large number of students from North-East living in Delhi participated in the public meeting. Many leaders also addressed the people. The meeting was conducted by Pradesh General Secretary Shri Pravesh Verma.

NEW PARKING POLICY OF GOVERNMENT IS ANTI PEOPLE - – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has criticised the new parking policy and termed it as an anti-people decision of Delhi Government. About 60 lakhs registered Light Motor Vehicles are plying in Delhi. Now, with the recent announcement of Delhi Government for increasing the parking fees for vehicles, the common man only will suffer.

Shri Gupta has further stated that even in the election manifesto for the last two terms, the party in power in Delhi did not plan the parking policy and not mentioned a single word for that. The only aim of the present Government is to earn money unethically from residential colonies, markets, public places etc. Even the Government did not bother to consult elected leaders of three zones of MCD before arbitrarily announcing the proposed hike in parking fees. Shri Gupta has condemned that as this proposal is anti people, Delhi BJP will oppose tooth and nail the policy of latest hike in parking fees. Delhi Government very well knows about the ground reality of the city. RWAs of Delhi are also opposing this anti people parking policy of Delhi Government.

This is surprising that Government wants to earn more revenue on the name of parking from private vehicle owners. That is why Government has decided different rates for parking in peak hours and non-peak hours. The new rates have been decided on the basis of categories of colonies. In A category colonies parking charges for one hour will cost 70 rupees and monthly charges will be 5000 rupees and in B & C category of colonies parking charges will cost 2000 and D, E & F category of colonies parking charges will cost 1500 rupees monthly will be charged in the new parking policy. It will be very difficult for common man of Delhi to pay this huge amount for parking.

Chief minister blames inhabitants of other states for failure of present govternmen – vijender gupta

Reacting on the statement given by the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in which she has blamed the inhabitants of other States for chaos in Delhi. Shri Gupta rejecting the irresponsible statement of the Chief Minister of Delhi it appears that Sheila Dikshit is escaping her responsibility.

Shri Gupta told that Chief Minister of Delhi in her 14 years tenure on many occasions and termed always inhabitants of other States as big burden on Delhi. On many occasions, she has blamed that the inhabitants of other States for poor infrastructure and for promoting crimes. By giving such vage statements several times the Chief Minister has escaped from her responsibility. But Sheila Dikshit should not forget that she is the Chief Minister of a State capital which is also capital of big country. It is moral & constitutional duty of State Government that they should provide adequate necessary amenities to the lakhs of Delhiites to live with dignity. Chief Minister has completely failed to fulfill these basic duties for the people of Delhi. That is why Chief Minister blames inhabitants of other states for her failure.

Each and every state is different kind of features & challenges for which CM is responsible to tackle every kind of situations. For example States spreaded over the coastal lines have to face flood etc. Hilly States have to face problems like land sliding, road accidents. States like J & K have to face problems like infilerations, terrorism, and heavy snowfall. West Bengal, Assam & Bihar States have to face Bangladeshis infiltrators problem. The Chief Ministers of these States can not run their responsible merely saying that they are unable to tackle these problems in their States. The population growth has been drastically increased in Capitals & important cities in all over the world. Migration from villages to cities is taking place in the entire world. Delhi is not exception to these modern world phenomena. He further said by terming inhabitants of other States as a big challenge for Delhi. By giving her statement it proves that the Central Government has completely failed to provide adequate help to the States. That is why inhabitants of other States are migrating to big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata etc. The Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit failed to provide basic amenities like water & electricity in her rule of last 14 years in Delhi and more over the life of the people of Delhi will be extremely difficult by her dictatorial decision for privatization of electricity & water in the coming days in Delhi

REPRESENTATION GIVEN BY BJP DELEGATION LED BY SHRI VIJENDER GUPTA MEET TODAY COMMISSIONER OF DELHI POLICE AT PHQ ON GEETIKA GOPAL KANDA CASE.....

16th August, 2012
Dear Sh.Neeraj Kumar,

It has been a matter of immense pain that ten days after former flight attendant Geetika Sharma killed herself, Delhi Police is yet to trace the key accused, former Haryana Minister Mr. Gopal Kanda who happens to be a very powerful politician.
The entire case has cast serious aspersions on the intentions and credibility of the Delhi police in nailing down the accused. It is shocking that even after gathering a mountain of evidences against Mr. Kanda he was allowed to flee. Such a situation could have been avoided if timely action was taken by the authorities. The suicide note clearly pointed to harassment and provocation by the accused, yet he was not taken into police custody immediately. Instead he was seen appearing on TV interviews and roaming free in the state capital. If the absconder is not apprehended soon there is serious danger of him tampering with the evidence and as a result jeopardizing the entire investigation.
This incident has led to a serious trust deficit between the civilian population and the criminal prosecution system of the country. Delhi BJP demands that the guilty must be brought to book without any further delay and the bereaved family of the victim is given justice.
With Regards,

(Vijender Gupta)
President

GOVERNMENT DOING FRAUD WITH THE PEOPLE ON REGULARISATION OF CONLONIES IN DELHI–VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Sh. Vijender Gupta said that keeping in mind of coming Vidhan Sabha Election, Delhi Govt. is misleading of people of Delhi and falsely projecting that the Delhi Govt. is working hard for regularization of colonies. In the process of regularization of colonies there are several contradictions and legal flaws. Even the Congress party and their State Govt. in Delhi are having major differences and having different opinions in the process of regularization of colonies. This clearly indicates that Govt. is misleading the people and they have no intention for the regularization of colonies in Delhi.

Recently Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit loud announcements were made by her on the several occasions that Govt. has done the complete homework and legal formalities for the regularization of 930 out of 1639. She further said that all hurdles for the regularization of colonies have been cleared and file has been sent to the Lt. Governor for approval. Now several truths are coming out the formula and guidelines made by the Govt. for regularization of colonies even half of colonies of 930 are not eligible. That is why the Chief Minister was upset with Urban Development Minister, Ashok Walia.

The recent reports in the media saying that Sheila Dikshit is planning for reshuffling her cabinet before Assembly election and CM is planning to change the Ministry of Ashok Walia in her cabinet. More than 50 lakhs people are living in unauthorized colonies and due to rains they are forced to live hellish conditions because Delhi Govt. has not given any permission for any kind of construction and even small repair work. In many of the houses rainy water is entering and many kind of mosquito diseases spreading in these colonies.

Shri Gupta said that the Govt. is not having any concrete plan for the regularization of colonies and they have no vision that how this work is to be done only keeping in to the mind the coming Delhi Assembly Election the Govt. is trying to befoul the 50 lakhs people living in these colonies for sake of vote bank politics. But now the truth has come out before the people of Delhi and this time they will not become the victims of falls promises of Congress party in Delhi.

BJP Demands Justice for Geetika Sharma, Candle March Protest at Amar Jawan Jyoti

BJP Delhi Pradesh  President Shri Vijender Gupta led the protest against the former Haryana Government Minister accused of torturing young Geetika Sharma and instigated her to commit suicide at Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate. Demanding justice for the family of  Geetika Sharma, Haryana Government immediately. Thousands of women and youth participated in the protest and were raising slogan for justice to Geetika Sharma and also raising slogans against Central Home Minister for poor investigation in the case. Protesters were holding placards, huge images of Geetika Sharma and candles in their hands and paid homage to Geetika Sharma at Amar Jawan Jyoti.

Addressing the gathering at Amar Jawan Jyoti Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta said that till the high profile minister Gopal Kanda arrested and sent to jail BJP will not take wink of sleep.  He further said it is unfortunate that woman is Chief Minister of Delhi and Haryana Government is also headed by the Congress Party and it is shameful one of the Home Minister of their government in Haryana is involved in torturing young female since many years who forced to end her life by hanging herself. Right from the very beginning Delhi Police, Harayana Police and Haryana Government tried their level best to  make escape route for high profile accused former Home Minister when this matter came into light, only then to eyewash poor and slow investigation were conducted so that their high profile aid can be saved.  He was given free passage to abscond due to his high profile stature and pressure on the police and bureaucrates he is not been arrested till today.

BJP National Secretary Vani Tripathi addressing the protesters said that committing crime against women is traditional culture of Congress Party. She further said people have not forgotten Tandoor Kand, Rajasthan singer murder and Councillor Sharda Jain incidents  memories are fresh. She alleged we witnessed that whenever Congress came in power in centre or state women have to face atrocities, torture, and sexual harassment and their several leaders were involved in these crimes in the past. So it is important to remember that till the Congress misrule is over then only we can expect justice for women.

Mahila Morcha Pradesh President Sheika Rai said Gopal Kanda is only one of the example of the sexual exploitation of young women in fact the Congress government is solely responsible for increase crime against women, corruption, price spiral in the country. Women protesters gathered at Amar Jawaan Jyoti resolved that till the culprits of Geetika Sharma incident are not arrested and justice to the family members of the deseeded is delivered till then BJP will continue their struggle.

Pradesh Yuva Morcha President Nakul Bhardwaj said that the history of Congress is that whenever their party makes government in any state their government always tried their level best to save their leaders who are involved in heinous crimes. The Youth of Delhi will unite together and fight to get justice to the family of Geetika Sharma.

Central and Police liberal attitude helped Gopal Kanda to abscond

BJP DEMANDS CBI ENQUIRY UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF HIGH COURT ON GOPAL KANDA-GEETIKA SHARMA INCIDENT – VIJENDER GUPTA

On the sad and tragic incident of Geetika Sharma suicide instigated by former State Home Minister of Haryana Gopal Kanda, BJP demands CBI enquiry in the incident under the observation of High Court and immediate arrest and strict legal action against accused Gopal Kanda.

It may be mentioned that on 4th August Geetika Sharma found herself hanging on a ceiling fan at her house situated in Ashok Vihar. In suicide note written by the diseased, it is clearly written that she was instigated to commit suicide by Gopal Kanda and on of his employee named Aruna Chaddha. Despite the fact suicide note written by Geetika Sharma reveals that Gopal Kanda solely responsible for her suicide Delhi Police did not arrested Gopal Kanda, 5 days have been passed since the date of incident and Delhi Police have not made any serious and concrete efforts to arrest the accused persons and he was found roaming freely in Delhi and Haryana. He also openly addressed the Press Conference after the incident but the police did not bothered to arrest the high profile former minister.

BJP Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, National Secretary Vani Tripathi, Pradesh Mahila Morcha President Shikha Rai addressing the press persons in a joint Press Conference at the Pradesh Office today said that they charged Central Government and Delhi Police for poor and intentionally slow investigation in Gopal Kanda-Geetika Sharma incident. The Government and investigating agencies have enough time to accused for destroying evidences and influence witnesses in his favour so that he can avail best legal remedy to escape from the present case. In meanwhile the accused Gopal Kanda have filed an anticipatory bail which was rejected by the Rohini Court. It is surprising that after many days of incident today police party raided his Haryana situated house of accused, it appears that the great pressure has been built up on the Government and the investigation agencies to go slow in this case due to his high profile stretcher.

In today’s raid, Delhi Police have arrested only one of his employees from his house and Kanda was absconding from his residence of Gurgaon. It is unfortunate that the Congress rule states is having poor law and order, especially crimes against women on the rise, corruption is touching sky. It is more unfortunate that it is happening under the shelter of their Government. In Maharastra, Assam, Hariyana, Rajasthan etc states the Government Ministers were accused of crime against women in several cases. Recently in Haryana, Minister Om Prakash Jain and Jile Ram were forced to resign due to corruption charges. Now, Gopal Kanda was removed another Minister charged for sexual exploitation of employee which instigated her to commit suicide.

Shri Vijender Gupta has raised question that how the owner of the MDLR Airlines Gopal Kanda became Billionaire in few years duration of time, this need investigation by Finance Ministry for his sources of money. He further demanded that the Home Ministry should answer why the police did not take any action for such a long time against the high profile Gopal Kanda, people wants to know the truth. He alleged that when the Home Minister of the State is accused of heinous crime, then it can be easily imagined with this incident that what will be the law and order situation of that state. It is surprising and unfortunate that till date NCWA is quite on this incident.

Delhi Government & Home Ministry failed to deport 4 lakh bangladeshis from delhi – Vijender gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta said that if the 4 lakh Bangladeshis are not deported immediately from Delhi then the Assam like situation can also arose in the capital of the country. He asked from the Chief Minister of Delhi and Union Home Minister Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde that the High Court had already given clear directions to Delhi Government for deporting illegal migrants from Delhi why the court’s directions are not complied till today? Whether the Congress Government is not tangled in vote bank politics?

Shri Gupta said that taking a serious note on a PIL in 2002, Delhi High Court had given directions to the Home Ministry & Chief Minister of Delhi in regard to deporting immediately the illegal Bangladeshis as maximum numbers. At that time directions were given for the implementation of Court order for deporting illegal Bangladeshis and to constitute a special task force in each district. Court further given directions to detain at least 100 Bangladeshis each every day and hand over to Illegal Migrants Cell for the deportation to Bangladesh.

He further said the Home Ministry & State Governments not taking directions as serious only 42,990 illegal Bangladeshis were deported in the last ten years. In fact as per the directions of the Court till today minimum 3 lakh 65 thousand illegal migrants would have been deported. Inspite of deporting illegal Bangladeshis living in Delhi, the State Government is providing them Voter I-cards, PEN card, ration card, adhar card, Insurance card, banks accounts etc. so that their illegal migrants status can not be challenged in India for the sake of vote bank politics. 90% illegal Bangladeshis living in Delhi have collected enough evidences to take citizenship of India.

Due to the indifference attitude of the State Government the Police escape from their responsibility despite the High Court directions. The recent criminal incidents in Delhi investigations have revealed these Banagladeshis are involved in heinous crimes like murder, dacoity, loot, chain snatching, theft, drug paddling, duplicate currency, sale of spurious liquor, kidnapping of minors. Congress Government deliberately not taking any concrete steps against them due to vote of politics for which the people of the capital have to pay heavy price in the coming days.

Centre should dismiss Gagoi Government

Congress Government directly responsible for the problem of infiltration in Assam – Nitin Gadkari

BJP National President Shri Nitin Gadkari demanded immediate dismissal of Tarun Gagoi Government responsible for riots and atrocities by Bangladeshis in Assam.  Shri Gadkari was addressing a massive dharna of BJP at Jantar Mantar on the violent incidents in Assam.  In strong words, Shri Gadkari said that Assam has been burning since 1957 and the Congress Government is benefiting by indulging in vote politics.  Congress Government is fully responsible for it because the Congress Party gets the votes of the illegal Bangladeshis in India.  Due to this Congress Government is avoiding to solve this problem.  Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta presided over the massive dharna.  More than 15,000 workers participated in the dharna.  It continued for more than five hours.  The workers raised thunderous slogans : ‘Congress Sarkar Sharam Karo, Videshi Ghuspath Band Karo’, ‘Assam Ki Hinsa – Sarkar Ki Vifalta, Istifa Do – Istifa Do’, ‘Assam Ke Doshiyon Ko Saja Do – Saja Do’, ‘Videshi Ghuspath Rashtriya Sharam – Congress Sarkar Jawab Do – Jawab Do etc.  A live exhibition was also organized on the unfortunate incidents of Assam which was seen by thousands of people who condemned the failure of Congress Government.

He told that there is no country in the world other than India which not only allows illegal infiltrators to live in the country, but also allows them to vote take part in politics, grab land, get ration cards and cheap ration, murder the original inhabitants of India, indulge in loot and provides them the status of refugees.  Giving the example of Israel, he said that this small country has erected pucca wall on its 500 km boarder on which there is live electric current. Due to this no illegal person can infiltrate.

The border of India & Bangladesh is 270 kms long and open.  If concrete wall is erected and live electrical current is passed on it then it will cost only 100 crores.  Government commits corruption of thousands of crores and spends thousands of crores on unnecessary works, but does not consider it necessary to seal Indo-Bangladesh border.  BJP President told that the country is not fiefdom of any person.  BJP always stands with the Bodo, Schedule Tribes and the original inhabitants.  He announced about providing clothes, food grains, utensils, medicines, temporary shelters for the 4 lakh homeless people of Assam and also announced about Relief Fund.  Workers in large numbers voluntarily donated in a donation box on this occasion.

Addressing the people sitting on dharna, Shri Arun Jaitely told that Assam is burning due to the failure of the Government. Now the balance of demography of Assam is in favour of illegal Bangladeshis. These illegal Bangladeshis are burning the houses, industries of the original inhabitants of Assam.  They are also capturing their land by force.  More than 100 Schedule Tribes have been killed in the violence since 6th July.  4 lakh people are living in relief camps, but the Government is not serious about the problem. BJP has always demanded that the illegal Bangladeshis should be deported out of India.  But every Congress Chief Minister including the Prime Minister are mum due to the greed of votes.
BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta presided over the massive dharna today.  He told that the Congress only wants power although the country may split in parts.  Not only Assam, but the entire country is suffering due to the problem of illegal Bangladeshis.  About 1.20 crore illegal Bangladeshis have infiltrated only in Assam.  In Kokrajhar and Dhubri Districts, their population is about 85% whereas the population of the original BODO & other Tribes has gone down to 5% only.  Now the danger is whether these four districts shall continue to be the part of India or not.  The same problem is being faced by bordering districts of Bihar.  In Delhi the population of illegal Bangladeshis had increased to 4 lakh.  These people commit crimes and the Sheila Government tells them as guests for the sake of votes.

Incharge of BJP Delhi Pradesh Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu told that the forces engaged in breaking India are encouraging illegal infiltrations.  It is unfortunate that the Government is also helping them in their conspiracy.  National General Secretary Shri Vijay Goel told that the Congress has no will power to solve the problem of illegal Bangladeshis.  Only the BJP will solve this problem.

SarvaShri Ram Lal, J.P. Nadha, C.P. Thakur, Bhpender Yadav, Dharmendra Pradhan, Kiran Maheshwari, Murlidhar Rao, Shyam Jaju, Arti Mehra, Rameshwar Chaurasia and large numbers of Central and Pradesh level leaders and thousands of workers participated in the dharna today.  The stage of was conducted by Pradesh General Secretary Pravesh Verma. Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi. 3 Mayors Meera Aggarwal, Sarita Gupta & Annapurna Mishra, Subhash Arya, Yogender Chandoliya, Mahender Nagpal, Rajesh Gehlot, former Pradesh Presidents Mange Ram Garg, Pradesh Vice Presidents Pawan Sharma, Radhey Shyam Sharma, Vishakha Sailani, Pradesh General Secretary (Organization) Vijay Sharma, Ramesh Bidhuri, Ashish Sood, Anil Goel, Legislators SarvaShri Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Dr. S.C.L. Gupta, Naresh Gaur, Sat Prakash Rana, Dharam Dev Solanki, Anil Jha and office bearers of Morchas and Cells besides district Presidents and other respected persons were present on this occasion.  Slogans were raised by the people present on the site of dharna ‘Bodo Bhaiyon Sangharsh Karo – Sangharsh Karo – Hum Tumareh Saath Hain’ etc.
