Vijay Goel warns Shiela Dikshit against any Hike in Power Tariff

BJP will use Electricity Connection Portability and Competition to reduce Power Tariff by 30%. 

New Delhi, 28 April: Shri Vijay Goel today warned Shiela Dikshit government against any hike in the Power Tariff. Speaking at the Akrosh Rally organized jointly by the BJP and various RWA’s of North Delhi Goel announced his plan to have a massive protest at Ramlila Maidan if the government makes any further increase in the already high Power Tariff in Delhi. He said, “I will not stop agitating until this government is uprooted if the people of Delhi are burdened any more by a hike power tariff. 

Mr. Goel's plan for at least 30% reduction in Power Tariff in Delhi by bringing in Electricity connection portability where the consumer shall have the option to choose from a bouquet of vendors competing against each other. Goel drew comparisons with mobile phone market to underline the fact that mobile phone services which started as the most expensive services are now the cheapest in the world. He promised to come out with a detailed plan to reduce and manage the power tariff in Delhi. He went on to challenge Sheila Dikshit to implement his plan immediately and bring relief to the people of Delhi. 

Mr. Goel further went on to point out that there is no shortage of water supply in Delhi and that the water crises in Delhi is created by utter mismanagement of the Congress government and that the BJP shall bring running water to every house hold in Delhi merely by streamlining the distribution system. 

He said that BJP cadre shall uproot the Congress in the next elections with the power of Paper, Pen, Brains and Speech. 

The 10,000 strong crowd present at the Akrosh Rally seemed enthusiastic about Mr. Vijay Goel who is on a series of Akrosh Rallys in different parts of Delhi. On this occasion Legislator Shri Jai Bhagwan Aggarwal, District President Shri Tarachand Bansal, former Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, former M.P. Dr. Anita Arya, Pradesh General Secretary Shri Pravesh Verma were also present.
