BJP WILL ORGANISE “DELHI DEHAT ADHIKAR RALLY” IN CHHATTARPUR ON 8TH JANUARY ON THE PROBLEMS OF RURAL AREAS OF DELHI

BJP has organized 6 ‘Adhikar Rallies’ in the villages of Delhi to debate in detail various problems of 375 villages of Delhi and their solutions and the continuous neglect of the villages of Delhi by the Congress party during the last 13 years. Delhi Pradesh has decided to organize first rally “Delhi Dehat Adhikar Rally” on 8th January in MCD Park, near Chhattarpur Mandir under Mehrauli District. National General Secretary Anant Kumar, Pradesh President Vijender Gupta, Pradesh Co-Incharges Navjot Singh Sidhu and Rameshwar Chaurasiya, Legislator Ramesh Bidhuri etc. leaders will address this rally.

This information was given by the Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta and Pradesh General Secretary Shri Ramesh Bidhuri in a Press Conference today. Both the leaders told that the Congress Government is neglecting all the villages of Delhi. Government is treating the rural areas in a step motherly way. Hence the difference between urban Delhi and rural Delhi is increasing. This is affecting the social, economic and political development of Delhi. On this occasion Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta gave a list of main demands of the villages to the press persons :-

  • The Lal Dora area drawn by the British Government 104 years ago in all the villages of Delhi should be extended immediately because during these years the population of these villages has increased 5 times. The Congress had in its last three manifestos promised to extend Lal Dora area but it forgot to fulfill its promise after coming to power.

  • When houses are constructed on private land in any village the sword of uncertainty hangs over it under section-81. This sections should be abolished because of the problem of housing has become more serious due to increase in the population of villages. Farmers should also have full rights to sell their lands under Section-33.

  • Under master plan 2021, provision should be made that there should not be need to get the layout plans of houses passed in the villages of rural areas.

·        Village land should be acquired at market rates and the compensation should be distributed immediately.

·        After developing the acquired land 20 percent part should be given to the farmers so that the farmers may be able to start their own occupation and maintain their families.

·        DDA acquires the Gram Sabha land of the urbanized villages of Delhi and after their auction allows construction of mall etc. for earning profit. Under new master plan the DDA should construct hospitals, stadia, park, community centre, entertainment centers etc. for the villagers.

·        The DJB does not supply filtered water in the villagers of Delhi. Hence the Government should give permission for private bore well for drinking water and other works.

·        Government should also arrange for a hospital of atleast 200 beds for every 10 villages. All the health facilities should be provided free of cost to the villagers in these hospitals.

·        Atleast one degree college should be opened for higher education for every 30 villages so that the people of villages may get complete education and contribute in the development of Delhi.

·        All the villages of Delhi should be connected by pucca roads so that the villages of Delhi may get uninterrupted connectivity with the urban areas.

·        The Rural Public Transport Service should be developed in such way that the villagers may get public transports from 5am to 12pm.

·        Electricity supply to the villagers should be uninterrupted so that the villages get power supply 24 hours.

·        2 rural universities should be opened for all round development of rural area of Delhi.

·        Network of cottage and small scale industries should be established in the villages of Delhi and these industries should be free from any taxation.

·        Under the revenue records even today 2.81 lakh acres land of the capital is under cultivation but the farmers do not get any facility for farming. This entire agricultural land should be declared green belt and the farmers should be provided seeds, fertilizer, market etc. at cheap rates. Government should not acquire this land in any case so that the environment of the capital may remain safe.
