BJP stages big dharna-demonstration at Palam-Dabri Mod to protest against land bungling by local Congress MP

New Delhi, 2nd August.  Under the leadership of senior BJP leader and MLA Prof. Jagdish Mukhi more than two thousand five hundred BJP workers staged strong dharna-demonstration at Dabri-Palam Mod (Near Telephone Exchange) to protest against the land bungling of more than 100 crores by Congress MP Mahabal Mishra.  Police used water cannon to disperse the demonstrators and after arresting them took them to the Dabri Police Station.  The demonstrators were demanding the Government that it should immediately asked MP Mahabal Mishra to resign and criminal case should register and he should be send to jail after filing case against him.  The demonstrators were raising slogans 'Bhoo Mafia ke Sargana Mahabal Mishra Istifa Do - Istifa Do'.
Prof. Mukhi told that if impartial enquiry is conducted against Mahabal Mishra and his family members then other land bunglings of crores of rupees will come to light which may be of about two thousand crores.  He told that on the one hand the Government is sending the corrupt allies to the jail, but on the other hand the Prime Minister has not taken any action against MP Mahabal Mishra, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan who have committed bungling of crores.  He has raised a question to the Prime Minister that why he is adopting double standard against corruption.  He also told that dozens of civil and criminal cases related to land grabbing are pending against Mahabal Mishra and his family members.  He also said that our movement will continue till the land is not returned to the poor farmers and Mahabal Mishra is forced to resign besides taking appropriate action for misuse of office by him.
It is worth mentioning that the present MP Mahabal Mishra, his brother Hira Mishra and his sons were eying the land of Nasirpur village since 2002.  They pressurised the farmers to sell the land at dirty cheap rate.  This land belonged to retired Col. Karan Singh Solanki and nine other persons.  Shri Mahabal Mishra and his men so much pressurised the Solanki family to sell the land that they agreed to sell the land at dirty cheap rate.
Distt. President Suman Sharma and Legislator Praduman Rajput told that DDA acquired 15 bigha land in Nasirpur village in 2006.  At that time Mahabal Mishra was Legislator and Member of DDA.  Misusing his position and influence, he applied to the DDA to denotify one acre land out of 15 bigha already acquired on the pretext that one acre land belong to a very poor farmer.  If this land is not denotified then his family will starve.  They further told that till Mahabal Mishra is not arrested on the charges of land grabbing with the help of forgery, fraud, the BJP workers will not remain silent.
Pradesh Vice President Pawan Sharma, Pradesh Secretary Kamaljeet Sehrawat, West District President Rajiv Babbar, Distt. General Secretary Harish Harjai, Ranvir Sharma, Shri Vohra, Councillors Praveen Rajput, Prithvi Raj Sahani, Rajesh Gehlot, Achal Sharma, Savita Jindal prominently participated in this demonstration.
