Workers burn effigies at 300 places of the capital

BJP burns effigies all over Delhi to protest against the murder of constitution and democracy by the Govt.

New Delhi, 17th August.  BJP today burnt effigies of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Home Minister P. Chidambaram, Human Resources Minister Kapil Sibbal and Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit to protest against the murder of Constitution and democracy, infringement of fundamental rights and taking the country towards dictatorship by the Congress Government.  The speciality of effigy burning programme was that the local citizens fully participated with the enthusiastic workers and resolved to finish the Congress Government at Centre and Delhi.  Co-Incharges Shri Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shri Rameshwar Chaurasia, Pradesh General Secretary Shri Vijay Sharma, Rajan Tewari, Jai Prakash, Suman Gupta, Raja Khari and other Pradesh office bearers, District Presidents, Mandal Presidents, Councillors, Morcha and Cells office bearers participted in this effigy burning programme.

Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta participated in these programmes at many places including the effigy burning programme at Chandni Chowk.  Addressing the workers, he told that the heydays of Congress rule are gone Prime Minister, Chief Minister of Delhi and the Government are furious.  They want that the voice of the people should be suppressed, but the Congress Government should not forget that whenever it has followed the path of dictatorship, it has been defeated.  In the elections after emergency the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi had lost elections.  The Congress Government may try whatever it likes to cover up its corruption, the entire world knows its truth.  The opinion of the people of the country is against this corrupt, inefficient, anti people, despotic Government.  Hence from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kacch to Assam the people have risen against the Congress Government.  People will dislodge this most corrupt Government.  He told that the Congress claims to be Gandhian, but this Congress is now throttling Gandhism so that it sins may not be exposed.  Congress thinks that whatever voice is raised against corruption will be silenced like the barbaric action on the programme of Baba Ramdev in Ramlila Maidan.  The same action was taken against Anna Hazare, but this time the Govenment had to bow down under the pressure of the people.
