Thousands of youth demonstrators of BJP march towards the Parliament and court arrest to protest against bomb blast
Thousands of workers of BJYM, the youth wing of Delhi BJP staged strong demonstration at Jantar Mantar to protest against the bomb blast at Delhi High Court yesterday. Pradesh Incharge Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu addressed the workers. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta led the demonstrators. As the demonstrators proceeded towards the Parliament to lodge their protest the police took them into custody. The youth were raising slogans 'Kab Tak Chup Rahe Hum Aur Kyon Sahe Hum'.
Warning the Government Shri Vijender Gupta told that now the people of Delhi and the country are not ready to tolerate more terrorism. The way in which the people have united against corruption, the same way they will unite to compel the Government to hang the terrorist and give a befitting reply to any terrorist incidents. Congress is not capable of governing. UPA cabinet is like such a chariot in which the horses are trying to drag the chariot in different directions. In place of going forward it spends all its energy trying to save it from breaking. In May 2011 a bomb blast had occurred in Gate No.7 of Delhi High Court. At that time P. Chidambaram had said that CCTV cameras will be installed at every sensitive and busy areas of Delhi very shortly. Had he been able to fulfil his promise then the faces of the terrorists who killed 12 persons and injured 90 people by a bomb blast at Gate No. 5 could have been captured. They could be sternly punished by the Government.
Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told that when the capital of India is not safe then one can easily imagine about the security in remote areas of the country. There are about 464 places of terrorist in Delhi alone. All the security and intelligence agencies have failed to find out these centres and apprehend the terrorist. In this situation the Government should reconsider about terrorist incidents and fram effective strategy. SarvaShri Pawan Sharma, Ramesh Bidhuri, Ashish Sood, BJYM President Nakul Bhardwaj, Manjeet Singh, Gajender Yadav and many Pradesh office bearers and brave youngmen of BJYM participated in the demonstration today.
