Govt. should answer that why the dead body of the Gang rape victim was cremated in so much faced and secret way--BJP

New Delhi, 30th Dec. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Sh. Vijender Gupta has said that the Govt. tried to cremate the dead body of the gang rape victim in a hasty and secret manner early in the morning. It remains about the emergency day. Govt. is not following the cultural, democratic and moral values of the country.

Sh. Gupta told that under a conspiracy the dead body was brought from Singapore to Delhi at 3.30am. The Govt. was in so much hurry to cremate the dead body that it wanted to cremate early in the morning in the cremation ground of Dwarka near Palam Airport. The family members of the victim opposed it. They refused to give Mukhaagni. Then the Govt. became varied. The dead body remained for hours lying on the pyre. They were not allowed to perform the last rites with their customs and traditions. The people of Delhi want answer from the Govt. that why there was so much haste in performing the last rites. Congress Govt. will have to answer about it sooner or later.

Sh. Gupta further told that the dead body of the victim was brought 26 hours after the death. Govt. will have to answer that why there was such conspiracy to bring the dead body. Had the intentions of Govt. been good then it should have allowed all the concerned to participate in the last rides so that the people may have paid tributes the brave daughter of India. Thousands of people were waiting at Jantar mantar for the whole night to received the dead body and the Govt. did not allow them to see the dead body and cremated in presence of some people secretly. At present the entire country is grief stricken due to this tragedy. The country wants strong initiative from the Government in the cases of rape & murder. Why did the Government take decision to shift the victim to foreign country in place of the Doctors

Decision to shift the gang rape victim to Singapore is political – Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, 28th Dec. BJP has said that the Government shifted the gang rape victim deliberately to Singapore in very critical conditions only to save itself from any possible trouble. Critical care treatment specialists have to say that the victim who was in very critical conditions should not have been allowed air travel.

Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta talked to the head of Medanta Hospital Dr. Naresh Trehan who were assigned the job of shifting the victim from hospital to Airport. Dr. Trehan told that he was called on 26th December. The Government had already taken decision to shift the victim to Singapore. Dr. Trehan was assigned the job of shifting from Safdarjung Hospital to Airport and Singapore Hospital under the supervision of critical care specialists Doctors of his hospital. The entire arrangement was made by Medanta Hospital.

It is surprising that on the one hand the conditions of the victim was deteriorating and the Government took the decision to shift the victim to a foreign country risking her life on the ground that the intestine transplant may be done in Mount Elizabeth Hospital of Singapore. Shri Vijender Gupta also talked to the family members of the victim. They said that there is swelling in the brain of the victim and she is feeling difficulty in breathing. Her condition is deteriorating continuously.

Condemning dirty politics by the Government in the treatment of a very critical patient, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has announced that BJP will fight the cases of those innocent young men & women who have been falsely implicated by the police. The victim remained in the Safdarjung Hospital for 11 days. Her MRI, CITI scane etc. was done, but the Doctors could not find injury in her brain. It is obvious that her treatment was not done in a complete manner.

The treatment of the gang rape victim has completely exposed the health care system of Government hospitals. The AIIMS is the apex hospitals for medical treatment for 120 crore people of India, but there is no facility of Air Ambulance whereas the private hospitals like Medanta, Sir Ganga Ram, Fortis, Apollo and many hospitals of South India have the facilities of Helipad and Ambulance. The rape victim was also brought from the hospital to Palam Airport in the Ambulance of Medanta Hospital. Such is the condition of health care in India.

VIJENDER GUPTA ASKS 10 QUESTIONS TO THE GOVERNMENT

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has asked 10 questions to the Government on the subject of treatment of the gang rape victim girl, failure of the Government and the police security in Delhi etc. The people of Delhi want answer to these questions.

1. In the night of 25th December, the victim girl suffered heart attack. She went into coma. Why the Government concealed this fact from the people and media?

2. The victim girl was suddenly and secretly shifted to Singapore for Intestine transplantation in very serious condition without any planning. Why this work was not done 10 days ago in a planned manner?

3. Why the reason of dispute between the SDM and the Police has not been made public? Why the statement of the victim girl was taken twice?

4. Police Constable Subhash Chandra Tomar was brought to RML Hospital after heart attack. Why the preliminary examination report and the discharge documents after his death have not been made public?

5. Why there is contradiction between Hospital Administration and Delhi Police regarding the reasons of the death of Tomar?

· Why the Public Transport System of Delhi is so much chaotic and dilapidated even after spending hundreds of crores on it?

· Five years ago the Government had promised about fitting GPS system and CCTV cameras in all the public transport buses and auto rickshaws. On this basis the Bus fare was increased and costly buses were purchased. What happened to those promises?

6. Within 7 hours of the death of Subhash Tomar, how the Police rejected the report of RML Hospital without waiting for the Post Mortem report?

7. Why the Police failed to control the mob of agitated youth on 23rd December?

8. Expressing her lack of trust in the Police Commissioner of Delhi, the Chief Minister has written to the Home Minister to remove the Police Commissioner. Why the Home Minister is silent about it?

10. On 23rd December, five youth met Smt. Sonia Gandhi, on what basis they were selected by the Government. Why their identity has been concealed?

Government, Administration and Delhi Police should stop playing political game

GOVERNMENT SHOULD ORDER FOR A JUDICIAL ENQUIRY INTO THE CASE OF DEATH OF POLICEMAN TOMAR – VIJENDER GUPTA

New Delhi, 26th Dec. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded for high level judicial enquiry into the death of Policeman Subhash Chandra Tomar in suspicious circumstances. He told that the Government and the Police are behaving in immoral way to cover up their mistakes and failures. The way in which Central Home Minister, Home Secretary, Chief Minister of Delhi, Police Commissioner of Delhi, SDM Vivek Vihar and the doctor who made preliminary examination of the dead body of Subhash Chandra Tomar are giving contradictory statements, it seems that all are hatching a grave conspiracy. This conspiracy may only be exposed by judicial enquiry.

Shri Gupta told that without submission of the post mortem examination report, the way in which Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar gives a statement to the media on 25th December that the cause of death of Policeman Subhash Chandra Tomar is injury on his chest and stomach. He has termed the death the Policeman as murder and said that the case will be filed for murder against 8 young men. It shows that in order to cover up its mistakes, the police want to implicate innocent young men in case of murder. Hence, it is necessary to have impartial and high level judicial enquiry into this case. Only such enquiry can find out the truth.

The Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit is also playing political game in this case. It is shameful for the Government that it is behaving in an immoral way. Government is also trying to take political advantage of the demonstration on 23rd December. Chief Minister is hatching conspiracy against the Police Commissioner and the Home Minister. The way in which she allowed her letter to the Home Minister to be leaked it seems that the Chief Minister wants to make the demonstration and the death of Policeman as the tool of her political game. She is neither worried about the victim girl nor about the death of Policeman.

Shri Gupta told that in a letter written to the Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, the SDM Usha Chaturvedi has alleged that Delhi Police did not allow the videography of the gang rape victim. Police had a readymade statement with it. The police pressurised the SDM to record that statement. It also indicates about a grave conspiracy. SDM has met Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit also. Hence it is necessary that the Government, administration and Delhi Police should stop playing political game in the case of gang rape and death of the Policeman and the truth about the case may come to light. Shri Gupta has also demanded that the report of preliminary examination after the death of the Policeman Subhash Tomar should be made public, so that the truth and the conspiracy may be exposed.

In Madhya Pradesh agricultural production has increased by 18 percent which is a good achievement. He also advised all the three Mayors of three Municipal Corporation of Delhi to provide amenities to the two crore people of Delhi on priority basis. They should also cut expenditures and serve the people without putting burden of taxes.
Pradesh In-charge Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu strongly condemned the Congress Government and said that the capital of the country in which the Government should be ashamed of the fact that mothers, sisters and daughters are not safe in the capital. This Government has not learnt any lesson from the good works of Vajpayee Government. Once again the country wants BJP rule.

Shri Vijender Gupta told that the incident of gang rape in moving bus has shaken not only Delhi but the entire country. There is anger in entire country and the Prime Minister breaks his silence after 9 days and accuses the innocent boy and girl students. The Chief Minister of Delhi shades crocodile tears but does not go enquire about the rape victim. No help has been offered by the Government to the family members of the victim. Police atrocities at Vijay Chowk

Manmohan Singh, Sushil Kumar Shinde & Sheila Dikshit resign immediately

New Delhi, 22nd December. Holding the Congress Party and Congress Government fully responsible for the insensitivity and irresponsible behaviour in the case of gang rape in Delhi and police atrocities on the enraged people of the country in this case, Delhi BJP has demanded the resignation of Manmohan Singh, Sushil Kumar Shinde and Sheila Dikshit.

Talking the press persons today, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta expressed his deep anger on the fact that the way in which tear gas and water cannon was used and police lathi charged the students assembled at Vijay Chowk enraged due to the anger from gang rape case, reminds of the emergency days once again. It seems that the Government has imposed undeclared emergency. It does not intend to make drastic changes in the law & order system, it wants cover up the case.

The former Chief of Army Staff General V.K. Singh is also protesting with the youth of the country assembled at Vijay Chowk to express their acrimony. The Government did not show any respect for him. Large number of people assembled at Vijay Chowk. Intellectuals, thinkers, senior citizens, women of Delhi and the country want that the way in which the VIPs are being protected the same way every citizen of the country should be protected because the Constitution of India grants fundamental right to life & equality.

Shri Gupta has demanded the Central Government that in view of the acrimony of the people special session of Parliament be convened and all the Chief Ministers and Lt. Governors of Centrally administered territories be invited so that the failing law & order system may be made effective and stern laws framed so that all the women, senior citizens, childrens and other people may feel safe.

Decision in an important meeting on the tax proposals for the year 2012-13

No new tax will be imposed on the citizens by the three Municipal Corporations- Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, 22nd December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has announced that neither any new tax nor any additional burden of any existing tax will be imposed on the people of Delhi in the budget for the financial year 2012-13. The citizens who pay house taxes of less than 5000 rupees on line shall be given additional concessional of 2% in the new financial year. The parking rates of all the three Corporations shall be uniform. Education provided in the Corporation schools will also be uniform and of high quality. Education tax, professional tax, tax on power produced from generator, improvement tax and other taxes, fees etc. shall not be imposed and BJP is not in favour of those taxes which have been imposed.

In view of the manifesto issued at the time of elections to the three Municipal Corporations, uniformity will be brought in the taxes on the people. BJP is committed for the uniform and all round development of Delhi. On the 21st December, a meeting of the Chairmen of Standing Committees of all the three Corporations and Leaders of the Houses was held under the Chairmanship of BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta to finalise the budget proposals for the next year. The aforesaid decision was taken in this meeting. BJP Delhi Pradesh President gave this information to the press persons today. SarvaShri Yogender Chandoliya, Rajesh Gehlot, Mahek Singh, Subhash Arya, Dr. Mahender Nagpal, B.B. Tyagi and B.P. Pandey were also present in the Press Conference.

Shri Gupta told that at the time of trifurcation of MCD, Delhi Government had made many promises. When the Congress was defeated in the MCD elections, the Government did not fulfil any promise. Government is trying to cripple the three Corporations run by BJP so that BJP may be defamed. The Government tried to impose burden of loan on the three Corporations from the very first day of its establishment. The Government had stated that the trifurcation is being done for creating three separate Corporations so that the work load may be divided and the development of Delhi may be ensured. Chief Minister had also promised to strengthen the Corporations financially and enhance man power.

At the time of introducing unit area method of house tax in Delhi, Government had said that if there is any shortcoming in the tax collection then the Delhi Government will compensate the Corporations. After the start of this system the Corporation incurred loss of 1253 crore rupees. The Government wants to recover this amount from the Corporations even today. He has demanded that in view of the interest of the people, Government should waive of the amount of Rs. 1253 crores.

Government has also reduced the grant in education head. At the time of implementing sixth pay commission, Government had promised that assigned tax 5.5% will be given in the education head of the Corporation. Now 1.5% reduction has been made and only 4% amount is being given. BJP demands that this amount should be given at the rate of 5.5% to the Corporations. Government had formed a Finance Commission under the Constitution 74th Amendment so that the financial condition of the Corporations may be strengthened. Delhi Government has not implemented the recommendations of the Commission.

Government has also stopped the grant being given to the Corporations for the development works in unauthorised regular colonies, villages, urban villages etc. Due to this the uniform development works in Delhi has been badly affected. The intentions of the Government is that the three Corporations may not bring uniformity in the development of Delhi and the BJP may be defamed. In spite of this BJP is trying for the all-round development of Delhi.

BJP demands that the Government should stop step motherly treatment with the three Corporations. At the time of trifurcations, Government had promised that the Corporations shall be granted 1550 crore rupees so that their financial condition may be at par. This amount has not been given as yet. All its assurances have not been fulfilled. Government wants that the Corporations may be under the burden of loan and it may continue to hinder the attempt of BJP to serve the people of Delhi in a prompt way. Government also wants that the development of Delhi may be hindered and it may not be uniformed.

No help from the Government so far

Parents of the victim of gang rape demand death penalty to all the accused persons – Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, 21st Dec. Parents of the victim of gang rape have demanded day-to-day hearing in this case and death penalty to all the accused persons. They have also appealed to the media that they should not go to their ancestral village so that the prestige of the victim girl and her family is not affected.

BJP Pradesh President has said that the victim girl is the prestige of the country. He is trying his best to save her life. He went to Safdarjung Hospital for the fifth day and met the parents of the victim girl. Their complaint is that they have not been offered any help from the Government even after five days. Government is only making verbal assurance through the media. Now it looks concerned for the law & order of Delhi, but Government has not made any arrangement from its side to save the life of the victim.

Shri Gupta told that the brother of the victim girl has himself search and found the process for the transplant of small intestine through the internet whereas the Health Ministry of the Government should have done it. Shri Vijender Gupta also talked to the Head of Medanta Hospital Dr. Naresh Trehan and he also arranged talk with the parents of the victim. Dr. Trehan told that he is ready to provide every kind of critical care to the victim girl free of cost. BJP Pradesh President also talked to the Medical Superintendent of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Dr. Veena Kumar. She has assured free intestine transplant to the victim girl.

It is necessary here to mention that the intestine transplant is possible only when intestine of such a person is made available whose brain is working and his blood group matches the blood group of the victim girl. Now the Government should take the responsibility of arranging intestine for transplantation so that her life may be saved. The Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit announced about sending the girl abroad for treatment but no step has been taken by the Government in this regard whereas the condition of the victim girl is deteriorating. Shri Gupta told that BJP will provide all possible help to save the victim girl.

Companies preparing to hike power tariff

GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT ALLOW HIKE IN POWER TARIFF WITHOUT THE AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS OF COMPANIES BY CAG – VIJENDER GUPTA

New Delhi, 20th Dec. BJP has demanded that until the accounts of all the three private power companies are not audited by the CAG, the DERC and Delhi Government should not consider their request for increasing power tariff by 3 to 12 percent in 2013.

Making this demand, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that the reality is that all the three private power supply companies are earning heavy profit for the last 10 years. Hence they are avoiding audit of the accounts by CAG. Delhi Government is hand in glove with the power companies. Hence even after the decision of the cabinet the accounts of the companies have not been audited by the CAG. After the directions of hon'ble High Court, Cabinet had approved a proposal for the audit by the CAG 6 month ago. But it has not been done till date.

Presenting their annual revenue requirement (ARR) for the year 2013 before the DERC, all the three private companies BYPL, Tata Power, BRPL have stated that their revenue deficit continues. Hence, it is necessary to hike power tariff. It may be mentioned that in July, 2012 the Government had allowed 34 percent increase in power tariff including surcharge on the recommendations of DERC. Besides hike in power tariff, the companies had requested DERC and the Government to levy fuel surcharge under power purchase cost adjustment. Now, the companies say that they are in revenue deficit of 12,000 crore rupees. They have to pay 12 percent interest on it. Hence hike is necessary.

Rejecting the claims of the companies, Shri Gupta has demanded the Delhi Government that the present contract with the three power companies for supply of power be cancelled and separate contracts for 11 districts be awarded to new companies. It will encourage competition among the companies and the people shall get power at low costs. He told that at the time of privatisation, the line losses were about 49 percent, which has come down to 7 to 11 percent.

After one percent decrease in the loss, the companies earn profit of 700 crore rupees. This profit is pocketed by the companies whereas the consumers should get relief in the power tariff. After privatisation, power tariff has been increased 4 times. Power load of the houses of the people have been increased 3 times higher. Fast reading meters have been installed in the house by force. Even after that the companies are complaining about loss and trying to increase power tariff every third month by hook or crook.

The victim said to the BJP Delhi Pradesh President sir ! I want to live

BIG DEMONSTRATION, DHARNA BY BJP MAHILA MORCHA, YUVA MORCHA DEMANDING DEATH PENALTY TO THE PERSONS WHO COMMITTED GANG RAPE: THOUSANDS ARRESTED

New Delhi, 19th December. Thousands of workers of BJP Delhi Pradesh Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha staged strong demonstration at Jantar Mantar today demanding death punishment to the persons who committed gang rape. Marching towards the PM Residence, the workers broke many barriers put up by the police. They were taken into custody. The persons who courted arrest include Smt. Smriti Irani, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta and other leaders. All the three Mayors, all the women Councillors of BJP and workers participated in the Dharna. Shri Vijender Gupta met the victim young woman in the Hospital for the third day. She became emotional and said – ‘I want to live.’

On this occasion BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta announced that the gang rape victim Physiotherapist young woman will be offered service in the health department of Municipal Corporation. BJP Delhi will fight the case on behalf of the victim in the court also so that not a single accused escapes punishment. He has demanded the Government that separate fast track courts be constituted in all the 11 districts of Delhi for hearing cases related to crime against women, children and senior citizens. Hearing in such cases should be on day to day basis so that the criminals may be punished as soon as possible. Shri Gupta went to the Safdarjung Hospital continuously for three days to enquire about the treatment of the victim. He has asked the hospital administration that there should be no negligence in the treatment of the victim young woman. BJP will help in providing in any costly treatment.

The National President of BJP Mahila Morcha Smt. Smriti Irani told that it is matter of shame that gang rape is committed in moving bus during the tenure of a woman Chief Minister in Delhi and the Government is satisfied by a stating that the license of the bus in which the crime was committed has been cancelled. The lives of lakhs of women in Delhi are in danger. The criminals are active in Delhi and the police are inactive. There is no fear of law, police and society in the minds of the criminals. This is the reason for the gang rape in moving bus during the night of 16/17 December and the police had no knowledge about it.

S/Shri Vijay Goel, Jagdish Mukhi, Mangeram Garg, Pravesh Verma, Shikha Rai, Nakul Bhardwaj, Vijay Jolly, Vishakha Shailani, R.P. Singh, Mevaram Arya, Pawan Sharma, Rajan Tewari, Krishanlal Dhilod, Vivek Sharma, Ramsharan Jindal, Anil Mittal, Lal Bihari Tiwari, Jitender Mahajan, many District Presidents, Pradesh office bearers and senior workers were present in the Dharna-Demonstration today.

All the three Mayors and all women Councillors shall sit on Dharna: Demand for the formation of judicial commission

BJP TO STAGE MASSIVE DHARNA AT JANTAR-MANTAR TOMORROW TO PROTEST AGAINST RAPE IN MOVING BUS : DEMAND FOR CAPITAL PUNISHMENT TO THE RAPISTS

New Delhi, 18th December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that a Judicial Commission should be formed immediately to enquire into the reasons of almost failed law and order systems and for providing complete security for the citizens of Delhi. This commission should submit its report within 6 months. Government should immediately take action on the report and provide right of respectable life to the citizens of the capital.

Shri Gupta made these demands in a Press Conference today. BJP Delhi Pradesh Mahila Morcha and Yuva Morcha shall stage a big Dharna at Jantar Mantar tomorrow on the 19th December to protest against rape in moving bus, lack of security to the women of Delhi and failed law and order systems in Delhi. BJP leaders from all over Delhi shall participate in this Dharna. All the three women Mayors of Delhi Smt. Annapurna Mishra, Meera Aggarwal and Savita Gupta shall sit on Dharna. Shri Gupta said that hearing in the cases of rape should be held on day to day basis and the guilty person should be awarded capital punishment. In such cases the judicial process be completed within six months and the guilty persons be behind bars.

He further told that since Congress Government under the leadership of Sheila Dikshit came to power, the law and order and quality of life in Delhi has deteriorated. It seems that there is jungle raj in the capital. Here the criminals are so fearless that they are murdering even the policemen. Women are their soft targets. Hon’ble Supreme Court has also made strong observations in cases of rape, kidnapping etc. of women. There was no effect of these observations of the court on Smt. Sheila Dikshit who is a woman.

He told that yesterday when he visited Sadarjung Hospital to see the condition of young woman victim of gang rape, the family members present there told that in spite of such heinous crime in the capital, no representative of the Government came to enquire about the victim. The reaction of the police was as usual that they are looking into the matter. According to the Doctors of the Hospital, besides rape the victim was also physically assaulted in such brutal manner that bleeding has not stopped till today. Her condition is very serious. Shri Gupta has demanded Delhi Government to provide help of 10 lakh rupees to the family members of the victim, so that her proper mental and physical treatment may be completed.

Goondaraj in Delhi

MASS RAPE IN RUNNING BUS: CHIEF MINISTER MUST RESIGN – VIJENDER GUPTA

New Delhi, 17th Dec. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the incident of mass rape of a young woman by six young men in a running bus is a slap on the face of woman Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit and added that if the Chief Minister has any sense of morality, responsibility left then she should immediately resign and let a competent person take over as the Chief Minister. Shri Gupta went to Safdarjung Hospital to see the condition of the young woman the victim of rape. Agitated people told him that the Chief Minister should own responsibility and resign immediately.

Holding the Central Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and Police Commissioner directly responsible for the incident, he told that it seems that there is Goondaraj in the capital. All the arrangements of the Government have failed. The morale of the criminal elements is so high that they commit mass rape in the running bus and the police had no knowledge about the incident.

More shameful is the fact that the Chief Minister in reaction to the incident tells the press persons that she has cancelled the license of the bus in which the rape was committed. Shri Gupta told that when the Chief Minister was claiming to have cancelled the license of the bus in which rape was committed, at that time the police had not identified the bus. At that time the police had taken over the possession of 11 buses and interrogating. In such situation is the statement of Chief Minister justified that the license of the bus in which rape was committed has been cancelled. The bus in which the crime was committed was recovered by the police in the evening. It shows that the Chief Minister has given false and misleading statement to the people. Chief Minister is herself a woman. Rape in running bus is a matter of shame for the whole Delhi. In such situation is it justified to give such insensitive statement and failing to own responsibility.

In another incident at Shivaji Stadium yesterday, three young men came at a Dhaba and after taking breakfast they ordered the waiter to eat the left over. When the waiter refused to eat the left over the young man fired at him. Two young men succeeded in escaping from there. The people present on the occasion captured one of the young men and handed over to the police. The area of Shivaji Stadium is one of the crowded places. The incident of firing in a place like Connaught Place is indicative of the fact that the system of law and order has failed in Delhi. The law breakers don't bother about the police and law.

After the incident of rape in running bus, Government has stated that now CCTV cameras shall be fitted in every bus. Shall these cameras be able to prevent the incidents of rape? Will it help in establishing law and order? Will the police start discharging its responsibilities after installation of cameras? It has been seen that the places where CCTV cameras have been fitted are not functioning. After every terrorist incident Government says that CCTV cameras shall be installed in all the markets and prominent places. Delhi Government should state that where these cameras have been installed and are they working? After this incident Government and the police have reacted as usual. After some time, the police system will become negligence once again. Unless the Government and the Officers are not held responsible for the incidents of crime, such incidents continue to happen.

Varun Gandhi, Khoshiyari, Vijender Gupta resolve that

BJP WILL MAKE ALL ROUND DEVELOPMENT OF DELHI AND BRING SMILE ON THE FACES OF THE PEOPLE, WHEN IT WILL COME TO POWER

New Delhi, 16th December. Addressing a big public meeting of unauthorised colonies and villagers in Sonia Vihar today, senior leader of BJP and MP Shri Varun Gandhi, former Chief Minister Shri Bhagat Singh Khoshiari, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, Legislator Mohan Singh Bist etc. resolved that if BJP comes to power then it will make all round and uniform development of Delhi so that every citizen may smile again. BJP leader told that the corrupt Congress Government has taken away their bread and butter and smile from their faces. BJP promises that it will provide all the basic amenities required for their daily needs.

Shri Varun Gandhi and Shri Khoshiyari told that Congress has been ruling Delhi for the last 14 years but it has not provided sufficient water, power, food and employment to them. Even today 70 percent of the population live in slums, unauthorised colonies and open sky. Government takes decision to allow anti people measures like FDI which will ruin the economy of the country.

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has told that Sheila Government treats 2.20 crore people of Delhi only as votes. On the occasion of every election, Congress makes many misleading and false promises so that the votes of the people may be secured. At the time of Assembly elections in 2008, Smt. Sheila Dikshit had distributed provisional certificates to the people of unauthorised colonies with the promise that all the unauthorised colony shall be regularised within a year and basic amenities be provided. Even after four years not a single colony has been regularised. Now, in view of Assembly election in 2013 the Government has started a new scheme name Annashri. Shri Gupta has demanded that it should explain to the people of Delhi through a white paper that on what basis the Government has selected 15 lakh families for the Annashri Yojna. The people want to know how a family can maintain itself only with the help of 600 rupees per month? The public at Sonia Vihar was organised by Shri Mohan Singh Bisht. Addressing thousands of people on this occasion Shri Bisht announced many development projects for Sonia Vihar area. BJP Delhi Pradesh President and Shri Bisht also dedicated these welfare schemes. On this occasion former CM of Uttaranchal Shri Bhagat Singh Khoshiyari and MP Varun Gandhi, Legislator Sahib Singh Chauhan and President of BJP Sonia Vihar Mandal and other office bearers addressed the meeting.

In this meeting Shri Bisht told that Congress has been misleading the people with false promises whereas BJP promises good governance. After coming to power in Delhi, BJP will provide same good governance that was provided during the BJP rule. It will make all round development of Delhi and make it a prosperous capital. The meeting was addressed by Shri Khoshiari, Varun Gandhi, Vijay Goel and other leaders. On this occasion, the people welcomed the BJP leaders by raising strong slogans “Bhajpa Jindabad” and “Bhajpa Ayegi, Khushali Layegi.”

Why Lovely did not participate in Cremation, Kriya of Chaddha brothers

BIG PUBLIC MEETING, EFFIGY BURNIGN BY BJP WORKERS DEMANDING RESIGNATION, ARREST OF LOVELY, HARUN

New Delhi, 15th December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has asked Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely that if he had family relations with deceased Hardeep Singh Chaddha and Ponty Chaddha then why he did not participate in the cremation and Kriya (condolence meeting) of both the brothers? When the Chaddha brothers were alive then he used to talk to them on mobile phone everyday many times. After their murder why did he break family relations with them? Is not his sense of guilty responsible for it?

These questions were raised by Shri Gupta in a public meeting organised by the BJP at Azad Nagar Chowk demanding arrest and filing of cases against the Ministers of Delhi Government Arvinder Singh Lovely and Harun Yousuf. Shri Gupta told that when Shri Lovely was the Transport Minister then he had awarded contract of three cluster buses to Hardeep Singh. These Buses are not being run under the contract even now. Why the Government did not take any action against the company of Hardeep Singh?

BJP workers staged strong demonstration at Bada Hindurao demanding resignation and arrest of Arvinder Singh Lovely and Harun Yusuf. The effigy of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and both the Ministers were also burnt on this occasion. BJP Delhi Pradesh Vice President Imran Ismail and many other leaders and workers participated in this programme and expressed their acrimony.

District President Nirmal Jain, Legislators Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Councillors Jitender Singh Shanty, Jitender Choudhary, Kalpana Jain, Master Balbir, Jai Gopal Verma, Ram Narayan Dubey and many Mandal Presidents and workers participated in the public meeting at Azad Nagar Chowk.

‘ANNASHRI YOJNA’ IS ELECTION STUNT – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has termed ‘Annashri Yojna’ started by Delhi Government as election stunt and said that Congress Government has always been making such inducement to the people on the occasion of every election to secure their votes. But after the elections the people get nothing.

On the occasion of Assembly Election in the year 2008, Delhi Government had distributed provisional certificates to the RWAs of unauthorised colonies of Delhi through Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. Not a single colony had been regularised till date. Government had also promised to provide full meal to the poor people for Rs. 15, supply cheap pulses and flour, free gas connection, free houses to the people under Rajiv Ratna Aawas Yojna. What happened to these promises?

Shri Gupta told that the way in which Congress party had on the occasion of last 3 Assembly Elections made hollow promises to the people of Delhi, the same way it has started Annashri Yojna to cheat the poor people before the 2013 Assembly Elections. This scheme will also fail because news about discrimination and corruption in this scheme are being heard.

On 14th December, Delhi Government has published advertisements in all the newspapers claiming that 15 lakh families of Delhi shall be paid 600 rupees per month as subsidy under the ‘Annashri Yojna’ from 15th December. Government should clarify that what standard has been adopted for selecting these families under this scheme? If the Government has selected 15 lakh families then it should publish the list of these 15 lakh families. Government should also say whether a family can maintain itself with the help of 600 rupees? In the times of price rise when pulses are being sold at the rate of rupees 100 per kg. and sugar 43 rupees per kg. then how a family can maintain itself with the help of 600 rupees.

200 Congressmen & women join BJP

New Delhi, 13th December. Under the leadership of Smt. Sucheta about 200 members of the Congress Party of Khichripur area in Mayur Vihar joined BJP today. Party President Shri Vijender Gupta welcomed them as members of BJP.

On this occasion, Shri Gupta told that the people of Delhi are disillusioned with the Congress Party and Congress Government. Hence about 200 men and women of the Congress Party have now deserted Congress and joined BJP. He assured them that the hope and trust with which they had joined BJP will be surely fulfilled.

On this occasion in presence of BJP Mahila Morcha Pradesh President Shikha Rai, Mayur Vihar District President Shri Ram Charan Gujrati, Khichripur Mandal President Ch. Sunder, prominent persons of Congress who joined BJP are S/Shri K.C. Verma, Satish Aggarwal, Dinesh Garg, Shyamwati Chaudhary, Jaikishan, Ankit Chaudhary, Harender, Mohit Gupta, Raj Kumar Bharti, Om Prakash Sharma, Lalit, Nand Kishore and Smt. Usha Bansal etc. were also present.

Suspected business relations of Ministers with Chaddha Brothers

CENTRAL HOME MINISTER SHOULD ISSUE DIRECTIONS TO THE CHIEF MINISTER TO REMOVE MINISTERS ARVINDER SINGH LOVELY AND HARUN YUSUF, ORDER ENQUIRY INTO THE CASE

New Delhi, 13th December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Central Home Minister that he should order enquiry into the suspected relations between two Ministers Arvinder Singh Lovely and Harun Yusuf with Hardeep Singh and Ponty Chaddha in the murder case at Chhattarpur farm house. He should issue directions to remove both the Ministers from their post till the results report of enquiry is submitted so that the truth about the business relations between both the Ministers and the deceased persons and the murder case may be known.

Shri Gupta told that the special police team investigating into the case of murder have found records of frequent telephonic conversation between both the deceased brothers and Ministers Arvinder Singh Lovely and Harun Yusuf. These records are evidence of the fact that both had relations with Hardeep Singh and Ponty Chaddha. Even on the 17th November, 2012 the day of murder, Arvinder Singh Lovely had talked on his mobile phone for 97 seconds with Hardeep Singh before his death. The police sources have stated that Hardeep Singh used to talk to the Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely on business matters every day. There is strong possibility of the fact that there was secret business relation with Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely and Hardeep Singh.

When Shri Lovely was the Transport Minister then he had awarded 3 cluster bus routes to the company of Hardeep Singh out of 5 routes awarded by the Transport Department by November, 2010. Hardeep Singh did not operate required number of buses within the time fixed under the agreement on the 3 cluster routes due to his relation with the Minister. Lakhs of passengers had to suffer due to it but the then Transport Minister Shri Lovely did not take any departmental and legal action against the company of Shri Hardeep Singh.

The police had found in its investigation that between 1st November to 17th November, Shri Lovely and Hardeep talked on mobile phone 59 times. Hardeep Singh used to send SMS messages to Shri Lovely frequently and Shri Lovely used to reply to it. Minister Harun Yusuf and Hardeep Singh talked 54 times between 1st to 17th November about which the police have found records. This way there was a possible triangular relation between Chaddha brothers and Minister Shri Lovely and Harun Yusuf about which investigation is necessary. After the death of their father Shri Kulwant Chaddha on 13th April, 2011, there was dispute between the two brothers about division of their family property of about 21,000 crore rupees. As part of this dispute there was litigation for DLF Farm House No.42 which was of about 7 acres. In this case Hardeep Singh was awarded the decree. He was also in possession of the Farm House. But on 17th November Ponty Chaddha with the help of his friend Namdhari took over the possession of the Farm House. At that time Hardeep Singh was in Noida. When he heard about it then he immediately came to Delhi. In the mean time, he talked for long with Minister Shri Lovely many times. The talk between Hardeep Singh and Lovely continued till the death of Hardeep. Shri Lovely and Yusuf had good relations with the brother of Hardeep Singh, Ponty Chaddha also. This was revealed by the long telephonic calls between them.

Demand for enquiry into conspiracy to privatize water

GIFT OF HIKE IN WATER TARIFF BY THE GOVERNMENT ON NEW YEAR – VIJENDER GUPTA

New Delhi, 12th December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the decision of Delhi Jal Board to hike water tariff by 10 percent from New Year is unnecessary burden on the people of Delhi and demanded that that since water tariff is already high in Delhi the decision to increase water tariff by 10 percent with effect from 1st January, 2013 should be withdrawn.

He has also termed that decision of DJB as anti people in which a decision has been taken by the Government under Delhi Water and Sewer (Tariff and Metering Regulation) 2012 that DJB will serve water bills even to those persons who don’t have DJB connections in their houses. It may be mentioned that 40 percent people do not have the DJB connections in their houses. They depend on private sources and private water suppliers for getting water. Such people spend 20 percent of their total earning on getting water. In such situation the DJB’s bills will be unnecessary economic burden on them.

Congress has been ruling Delhi for the last 14 years. Here the total demand of water is 1100 MGD but the DJB supplies only 850 MGD. Out of this 40 percent water is lost due to negligence and corruption in the DJB. DJB say that it is leakage. The reality is that the water mafia sells this 40 percent of the water with the connivance of DJB. At many places in Delhi, the water mafia have taken direct connection from the main pipe lines of DJB. From here, tankers are filled for supply to farm houses, private hotels and traders at market rates.

At present there are 30 lakh water connections in Delhi. Sub standard meters are being fitted in the houses of the people on the lines of power meters. These meters have been manufactured by local companies which are of low standard in comparison with old meters. The employees of DJB are threatening the people that if they do not change their meters their water supply will be disconnected. At present Jal Board is looting the people by both hands in the name of water supply. 60 percent of the total water bill is been recovered as sewer maintenance charge from the people. Service charge is also been recovered besides it. People complain that they are being served hefty water bills. The new meters are fast running resulting in hefty water bills.

Delhi Government has started privatisation of water in various phases. Under this programme with the approval of Chief Minister DJB has privatised water supply under public private partnership in Vasant Kunj, Malviya Nagar, Nangloi etc. areas. Social organisations and people say that the project cost of private water treatment plants has been deliberately increased so that its cost may be recovered from the people. This is being done to benefit the private companies. BJP has demanded the Lt. Governor to enquire into this conspiracy.

DELHI GOVERNMENT SHOULD ISSUE WHITE PAPER ON FDI IMMEDIATELY AND TELL THE PEOPLE ABOUT THE TRUTH – VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Congress Government of Delhi that it should immediately issue a white paper about allowing FDI in retail trade in Delhi. Delhi Government should through the white paper tell the manufacturers, traders, retail traders, farmers and the people of Delhi about the benefits of FDI and any possible loss due to it.

Shri Gupta has demanded the Chief Minister that if her intentions are good then first of all she should move a motion in the Legislative Assembly for allowing FDI in retail trade in Delhi and get it approved by majority. Voting should take place after detailed debate in the Legislative Assembly and after getting the majority vote it should ascertain the views of the traders, manufactures and the people of Delhi. After that the Government should take steps for implementing FDI in the capital of India. Delhi Government has already prepared a draft for amending the law of Mandi for this purpose. Due to which, there are many questions in the minds of the people that why there is so much haste in implementing the FDI. Have the politicians of Delhi received money from companies like Wall Mart for allowing FDI. Chief Minister should also announce enquiry about it on the floor of Legislative Assembly.

The haste in which the Government is going to implement FDI in the capital of India gives rise to many apprehensions. The trader, manufacturers, farmers and the common man is worried about the fact that this decision may ruin the economy of Delhi and cause unemployment. Hence the traders, manufacturers, farmers and the people are opposing it. Traditionally the character of Delhi has been commercial. If FDI is allowed without new consideration then migration out of Delhi may start and the law and order may also be in danger.

Shri Gupta further told that as a result of allowing FDI in Delhi atleast 20 lakh citizens shall be directly affected. About 10 lakh traders in Delhi are directly connected with retail trade. If big showrooms and ware houses of the companies like Wall Mart, Tesco, Metro AG, Car-fur etc. are opened, then it will adversely affect the traders and the mandies of Delhi. The way in which Wall Mart have paid 125 crore rupees for lobbying to the politicians of the world, it is obvious that the foreign companies are coming in India for capturing the retail market. They shall finish the traditional retail trade in India by selling cheap imported foreign goods. After that they shall sell costly items and loot the people of India and take away the money earned in India to foreign countries.

Chief Minister is not concerned about retail trade in Delhi

Secret agreement between Government & foreign companies for implementing FDI in retail in Delhi - BJP

New Delhi, 10th December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the way in which the Chief Minister of Delhi is acting in haste to implement FDI, opening the retail stores of foreign companies and amending Mandi Act shows that there is a secret agreement between the Government and the foreign companies in this case. There is also possibility of corruption in this agreement. He has also demanded enquiry into the hasty manner in which Delhi Government is working for implementing FDI.

Delhi Government wants to get pat on its back for implementing FDI first of all in the country without thinking about its consequences. Government is going to amend Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Act for this purpose. With this amendment the foreign companies shall get permission to start private Mandis in Delhi. Its adverse affect will be that the future of thousands of traders connected with traditional Mandis will be in dark. The retail trade will also be adversely affected and economy of the capital will be in danger. The retailers and wholesale traders have also warned the Government that it should not open the gates for FDI in Delhi without due consideration. Delhi Government has given a token amount of 2 crores to a private company for constructing private Mandi in a plot of 70 acres in Tikri area of West Delhi.

Shri Gupta told that most of the MPs and Parties had opposed FDI in retail trade during debate on FDI in Parliament. Government could secure required number of votes only due to technical reasons but the people of the country, youth, traders have many apprehensions about FDI. Delhi is the commercial hub of the country. Goods articles of general use are sent to all the States of India from Delhi. The economy of Delhi depends on retail trade and wholesale trade.

At present the retail trade in India is run by unorganised sector. Only 18% of the retail trade is run by organised sector. The livelihood of rest 82% depend on the retail trade. Multi national companies like Wallmart, Tesko, Metro AG, Karfur, Ikiya, Kargil etc. are eying the retail trade of India worth 500 billion US dollar. This turnover will go upto 1000 billion by the year 2020. Hence first of all Wallmart is trying to open its business in India. Wallmart has also spent 125 crore rupees for lobbying among the members of US Congress. In India also Wallmart has spend 54 crore rupees for lobbying. If the foreign companies can spent crores of rupees only on lobbying then how much profit they will earn can well be imagined. Government has become pawn in the hands of foreign companies. The economy of the country is in danger.

Case of Regularisation of unauthorised colonies

GOVERNMENT SHOULD ISSUE WHITE PAPER AND TELL IN HOW MANY COLONIES REGISTRATION OF SALE DEEDS AND LAYOUT PLAN APPROVAL WILL BE STARTED – VIJENDER GUPTA

New Delhi, 8th December. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Chief Minister that she should issue a white paper on the condition, future and regularisation of all the unauthorised colonies. Government should also tell that in how many colonies out of 895 unauthorised colonies registry of sale deeds and layout plans approval will be started.

He told that the Lt. Governor of Delhi Shri Tejendra Khanna has approved the proposal of Government dated 7th December for the purchase/sale of the properties in the colonies notified by the Government. Lt. Government has not clarified whether the sale/purchase in all the 895 colonies will be started or only in some of these colonies which are on private land and for which there is no legal hurdle.

According to Government sources 312 colonies out of 895 declared regularised have come up on private land. These colonies have been divided in four categories. First category is of those colonies which are fully on private land and there is no legal hurdle. The second category is of those colonies for which Delhi Government has issued notification of acquisition under Section – 4 and Section – 6 of Delhi Land Acquisition Act. Third category is of those colonies in which land have been acquired by the Government but the farmers have not accepted compensation for acquisition of land.

Fourth category is of those colonies which have come up on agricultural land and the land is of that category in which agricultural activity has not taken place for long time and the land has become part of Gram Sabha land. The land acquired by the Government for which farmers have not accepted compensation will have to be de-notified under the Land Acquisition Act and only after that of sale/purchase will be started. This way, it is obvious that sale/purchase of land in only 50 colonies may be started. Not only this, these should be colonies which have come up on fully private land and for which there is no legal hurdle.

On the other hand if one goes by the amendment of the master plan then the Central Government has already decided to acquire all the lands in the authorised colonies and allot them to the private builders. According to this decision, the private builders shall construct multi-storied buildings and shopping malls and sell them. If this happens then the poor people will face great difficulties. The dream of poor people to have a house of their own will be shattered. They will have no option but to return to their home state after losing their land in Delhi.

Deaths in Sushrut Trauma Centre

MASSIVE DHARNA OF THOUSANDS BJP WORKERS DEMANDING FILING OF CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST THE CHIEF MINISTER AND THE HEALTH MINISTER

New Delhi, 7th December. Under the leadership of Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta thousands of BJP workers staged strong demonstration in front of Trauma Centre demanding filing of criminal case against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Health Minister Dr. A.K. Walia and Hospital Administration for tragic deaths in Sushrut Trauma Centre and drastic changes in the health services in the capital.

On this occasion BJP workers were raising slogans: Aspatalon me begunahon ki maut – Doshiyon ko saja do, saja do, Delhi me 5 saal me 10,000 bacchon ki maut – Sheila Ji jawab do – jawab do. Mukhya Mantri aur Swasthya Mantri ko-Giraftar Karo-Giraftar Karo, Begunah Hatyaon ki Nyayik Jaanch Karo, Nyayik Jaanch Karo etc.

Addressing the workers sitting on Dharna, Shri Vijender Gupta announced that BJP will not tolerate the deaths of innocent persons in the Hospitals. The persons responsible for it will have to go to Jail. He told that Delhi Government spent 2160 crore rupees on medical services, public health and Government Hospitals in the year 2010. The people say that corruption was committed in utilising this money. The condition of patients in Government Hospitals is very pathetic. Hospitals have become butcher houses. Nobody is listening to the poor people. He informed that even after 65 years of independence, the number of Government hospitals in Delhi is only 34 whereas the population has increased to 2.30 crores.

He further told that the Government is avoiding judicial enquiry because if such enquiry is held then the Chief Minister and Health Minister shall be directly held responsible and they will have to resign. Departmental enquiry is being held only to cover up the case so that the truth may not be known. The head of Sushrut Trauma Centre has neither been suspended nor arrested. Is it justified to arrest only the two innocent employees of the gas supply company?

Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told that Congress has been ruling Delhi for the last 14 years. This time is a very long period for the all round development of any capital. It is unfortunate that during these 14 years, Congress Government has changed the capital into a hell.
