New Delhi, 13th December. Under the leadership of Smt. Sucheta about 200 members of the Congress Party of Khichripur area in Mayur Vihar joined BJP today. Party President Shri Vijender Gupta welcomed them as members of BJP.
On this occasion, Shri Gupta told that the people of Delhi are disillusioned with the Congress Party and Congress Government. Hence about 200 men and women of the Congress Party have now deserted Congress and joined BJP. He assured them that the hope and trust with which they had joined BJP will be surely fulfilled.
On this occasion in presence of BJP Mahila Morcha Pradesh President Shikha Rai, Mayur Vihar District President Shri Ram Charan Gujrati, Khichripur Mandal President Ch. Sunder, prominent persons of Congress who joined BJP are S/Shri K.C. Verma, Satish Aggarwal, Dinesh Garg, Shyamwati Chaudhary, Jaikishan, Ankit Chaudhary, Harender, Mohit Gupta, Raj Kumar Bharti, Om Prakash Sharma, Lalit, Nand Kishore and Smt. Usha Bansal etc. were also present.
