Big Public Meeting in Azad Nagar against FDI

BJP TAKES OUT FUNERAL PROCESSION OF DELHI GOVERNMENT

New Delhi, 29th Oct. To protest against anti people policy of Delhi Government to allow FDI in Delhi to ruin the trade and commerce of Delhi, BJP took out funeral procession of Delhi Government in Azad Nagar of East Delhi. Thousands of BJP workers, traders of the area and local citizens participated in this procession. Effigy was also burnt near the Shiv Mandir.

A big public meeting was organised on this occasion which was addressed by Pradesh General Secretary Ashish Sood, Krishan Bhardwaj, Jitender Chaudhary, Chaman Bhardwaj, Rakesh Gehlot etc.

Shri Sood told that the hasty way in which Congress Government permitted FDI in the retail trade, indicates about a big scam. This decision will adversely affect the economic and social condition of the country. Before implementing this decision they should have discussed at National level. The way in which FDI has been allowed without being discussed in Parliament indicates that there is something fishy.

Mandal President of Azad Nagar Shri Chaman Bhardwaj called upon the people and the traders present on this occasion that they should not allow FDI in Delhi otherwise the commercial character of Delhi will be destroyed. This will lead to massive unemployment. Councillor Jitender Choudhary told that all the people present here should resolve that they shall not accept FDI in the capital. The Government which has welcomed FDI in Delhi will be forced to bite dust in the next assembly elections.
