Second day of campaign against FDI

Thousands of people resolve to oppose FDI in Alipur

New Delhi, 27th October. On the 2nd day of public awareness campaign in entire Delhi to protest against FDI, BJP organised a big public meeting in Alipur. Thousands of traders, local citizens and BJP workers participated with great zeal in it. Addressing the public meeting Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta announced that BJP will not allow the trade in Delhi to be ruined although it may have to sacrifice for it.
He raised a question to Dr. Manmohan Singh and Smt. Sheila Dikshit that why they are welcoming FDI which will ruin trade and agriculture? Why the Government is in so hurry for FDI that it has allowed FDI without the approval of Parliament. The companies to which permission are being given for retail trade, have caused severe unemployment in many countries of the world. Inspite of this why and under whose pressure these companies are being allowed for retail trade in country like India which is already a leading country in this field.

Pradesh Vice President Pawan Sharma, District President Ramesh Chauhan etc. also leaders addressed the public meeting. They appealed to the people present on the occasion that they should oppose the decision of FDI which will ruin Delhi on do or die style. If FDI is allowed in Delhi then the history of hundred years of trade will be finished. Land in Delhi will become ten time costly. Greenery will be finished here. On this occasion Ved Pal Man, Urmila Chaudhary, Neeldaman Khatri, Nisha Man, Devender Rana, Sukhram Pehlwan, Dr. Daya Chand, Ch. Amar Singh, Ved Prakash Satish, Krishan Dada, Rajesh Kundoo and many office bearers and workers were present.
