Inauguration of water drainage system of 6 crore rupees in Chhawala Village

BJP STRONGLY OPPOSES HIKE IN WATER CHARGES IN A BIG PUBLIC MEETING

Addressing thousands of villagers in a big public meeting after inaugurating drainage system of 6 crore rupees in Chhawala Village under Matiyala Assembly Constituency, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that by increasing the water supply charges, anti-people Delhi Government has given indications to the people of Delhi on the eve of New Year that its agenda include economic burden on the people and filling the Government treasury. Raising both hands, the people present in the public meeting opposed the agenda of Government to increase water, power and sewerage charges and raised slogans against Delhi Government. Strongly objecting to the increase in water charges, Pradesh President warned the Government that it should desist from anti people decisions otherwise the BJP alongwith the people will start movement against the Government.

He told that BJP is committed to provide basic amenities to the people of Delhi but the Congress Government is making the life of the people of Delhi difficult by imposing economic burdens one after another. On this occasion senior leader of the party Sanjay Joshi, Mayor Rajni Abbi were also present. The people of Chhawala Village had been facing the problem of water drainage since years. With the completion of this work, the environment of the entire village will improve and people of the village will get relief from filth.

On the eve of New Year, Delhi Government has increased the water charges by 10 percent besides increasing the prices of CNG and Petrol. The power bills to be served in the month of January to the consumers will include fuel surcharge and hence the people will have to pay 1 rupee extra for each unit consumed. With effect from the midnight of 31st December, Government has also hiked the price CNG by Rs. 1.75 per kg. Due to this, the price of CNG has increased to Rs. 33.75 per kg. This increase will also affect public transport.

Shri Gupta further told that Delhi Government has failed to provide basic amenities to the 2 crores citizens of Delhi and the Government put heavy economic burden on the people by privatizing power and water now it is trying to supply power at 10 times higher rate by privatizing water. The Government is gradually privatizing the work of water supply so that the people may not feel shocked. The water bills being served in Delhi are being prepared in an arbitrary way because this work has been given to a private company. The company is serving 10 times higher bills than the actual consumption. If one complaints, nobody listens.

The people of Delhi are already suffering from corruption and price spiral. Delhi Government has hiked the charges of Metro parking, increased circle rates, registration fees, service tax, VAT, sewerage charge etc. The people are already feeling additional economic burden due to increase in the school fees. In place of curbing price rise, the Government is continuously increasing prices of CNG, cooking gas, kerosene, petrol, water and power charge etc. and showing its insensitive and profiteer like character. Shri Gupta told that the people of Delhi will certainly take revenge from the Congress in the forthcoming MCD elections, Assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. Government will have to pay for its misleads. The area councilor Rajpal Shokeen thanked the people in the public meeting and told that we will continue to work for providing basic amenities to the people.

ON THE EVE OF NEW YEAR, CONGRESS GOVERNMENT GIFTS THE PEOPLE OF DELHI FURTHER INCREASE IN THE PRICE OF CNG

New Delhi, 30th December. The Congress Government which has been continuously encouraging corruption and price spiral in the country has gifted the people of Delhi further increase in the price of CNG by Rs.1.75 per kg. on the eve of New Year. Now, the price of CNG in Delhi has gone up to Rs. 33.75 per kg.

The BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has termed this decision of Government to increase the price of CNG as insensitive and anti-people and said that due to this decision the public transport will become more costly. In place curbing price spiral and stabilizing prices, Government is taking such anti-people decisions so that the people may be deprived of their bread and butter. This Government is not concerned about the common man at all. This Government is acting like a profiteer.

Thousands of workers taken into custody: Workers tied black strips on their mouth

PROTEST MARCH OF BJP AGAINST MURDER OF DEMOCRACY

New Delhi, 30th December. Terming the failure of Government to get the Lokpal Bill passed in Rajya Sabha by the Congress as planned conspiracy of Government and agitated due to this attempt to murder democracy by the Government, thousands of BJP workers staged protest march from Delhi Pradesh Headquarters to the Parliament. This was led by the Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta. Thousands of agitated workers were taken into custody by the police at Parliament Street Police Station. Workers were raising slogans “Congress ne aadhi raat ko ki, Loktantra ki Hatya, Jantantra ki Hatya, Manmohan Sarkar, Isteefa do, Isteefa do, Jantantra ki Hatyari Sarkar, Barkhasht Karo, Barkhast Karo.” The workers tied black strips on their mouth and were marching with black flags in their hands.

National Vice President of the Party Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told that the history of Congress has been to betray the people in the midnight. The former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had declared emergency in the midnight of 24/25 June, 1975 and put lakhs of people in Jails. The character of Congress is despotic and undemocratic. History is witness of the fact that whenever Congress comes to power, the country has to suffer from corruption, price spiral and terrorism.

Addressing the workers before the protest march, Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that the intentions of Congress Government were not good from the very beginning. It is itself corrupt and encourages corruption. Due to this Manmohan Government was apprehensive of the fact that if the Parliament passes an effective and strong Lokpal Bill with amendments then many top Congress leaders will be in Jail. Hence, the anti-people Congress Government played fraud with the people in midnight and did not allow the Lokpal Bill to be passed in Rajya Sabha. The country will not get relief from corruption and price spiral till the Congress misrule continues. This Government is not for the common man but for touts, middle man, corrupt persons and mafia.
Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told the demonstrator that now the objective of BJP is to dislodge Congress Government because till this Congress misrule continues, 121 crore people of the country will have to face corruption, price spiral and terrorism. If we have to save our country, then the Congress Government must be dislodged. S.Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Legislators Subhash Sachdeva, Shri Krishan Tyagi, Meva Ram Arya, Pawan Sharma, R.P. Singh, Satish Upadhyay, Vishakha Shailani, Radhe Shyam Sharma, Subhash Arya, Yogendra Chadoliya, Anil Sharma, Narainder Tandon, Simmi Jain, Rajan Tiwari, Sunil Yadav, Kuljeet Chahal, Dr. Sambit Patra, Sikha Rai, Nakul Bhardwaj, Atif Rasheed, Krishan Lal Dhilod, Rajkumar Ballan, Anil Goel, Mahendra Gupta and many Pradesh Office Bearers and senior leaders and workers were present in the demonstration today.

People express their acrimony against hefty power and water bills in public meeting at Khyala, J.J. Colony

GOVERNMENT SHOULD PROVIDE FREE HOLD RIGHTS TO LAKHS OF PEOPLE LIVING IN REHABILITATION COLONIES - VIJENDER GUPTA

In a big public meeting of BJP in Khyala rehabilitation colony near Keshopur Sabji Mandi today, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta demanded the Delhi Government that the Government should provide pucca houses to the people living in J.J. Colonies. The people of the colony present in the public meeting complained that they are being served hefty water and power bills arbitrarily due to which it has become difficult to maintain their families in this time of price spiral. Pradesh President told that the Government should provide all the basic amenities in the colony necessary for life so that 10 lakh people of these colonies may lead respectable life and contribute to the development of Delhi.

Akali Dal President S. Shri Avtar Singh Hit, West Delhi District President Shri Rajiv Babbar, Councillor Maninder Jeet Singh Sirsa, and other office bearers were present in the meeting. Shri Gupta told that there is great scarcity of water and power in Khyala rehabilitation colony. The Government is recovering power tariff at 27 percent higher rates. Since most of the peoples in this colony are poor, BJP demands that the entire arrear of ground rent should be waived. Uninterrupted and sufficient power and water should be supplied in the colonies, inflated power & water bills should be withdrawn and only actual consumption bills should be recovered and this type of cheating practices with the common man living in this area should be ended immediately.

10 lakh people of Delhi live in rehabilitation colonies. They have been allotted houses in these colonies under rehabilitation programme. When they were displaced from other places their condition was very pathetic. Even today, they are maintaining their families with great difficulty in these small houses. They have been demanding that new pucca houses should be constructed for them and BJP strongly supports their demands.

Delhi Government recovers many charges in the name of fees from the people of rehabilitation colonies. BJP also demands that these charges and taxes should be waived off immediately in view of the poor condition of people of these colonies. There is also scarcity of basic amenities and there is no arrangement for health services and recreation centers. The condition of pregnant ladies is very pathetic. Pradesh President Vijender Gupta demanded special arrangements in rehabilitation colonies for the women and the children. He demanded that the discrimination with the 10 lakh people of rehabilitation colonies should be ended so that a harmonious Delhi may be developed.

2011: Performance report of the anti people and corrupt Delhi Government

GOVERNMENT CONTINUED TO LOOT THE PEOPLE FOR THE WHOLE YEAR AND COMMITTED ATROCITIES ON THE PEOPLE – VIJENDER GUPTA

Presenting the performance report of one year of Delhi Government, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that during the last 365 days, Delhi Government has committed unlimited corruption. Many decisions of Government have been cause of suffering to the people and benefit for the touts, middlemen, landmafias etc. This Government trashed the reports of Shunglu Committee and the CAG on corruption in Commonwealth Games and corruption in various departments and the Chief Minister continues to save herself and other corrupt persons in the Government from CBI and enquiries from other agencies. The elections for the MCD are going to be held shortly. Two crore people of Delhi will certainly take revenge from the Congress Government for the atrocities committed on them in the MCD elections.

Delhi Government did not do anything to solve the problems of unauthorized colonies, slum clusters, shelter for helpless people, housing problem, free houses to the SC people, public distribution system, price rise etc. 50 lakh poorvanchalis live in Delhi but the Chief Minister did not announce holiday on Chhath festival deliberately. MCD declared holiday on Chhath festival and the Chief Minister tried her best to cancel it. Even after spending 70 thousand crores on CWG, the youth of Delhi are not getting the benefit of all the stadiums renovated during CWG. The people are suffering due to increase in the prices of land, houses and other essential commodities due to the CWG in Delhi.

The works done by Sheila Dikshit in the name of public welfare include corruption of thousands of crores. Delhi Government distributed provisional certificates to 127 fictitious colonies through the Congress President Sonia Gandhi in the name of issuing provisional certificates to unauthorized colonies. Delhi Government continued to sit over this case for 2 years. After the BJP exposed this land scam, now the Government has issued show cause notice to these colonies. In the year 2009, MCD had submitted a list of 127 fictitious colonies with the report that these colonies have not fulfilled the requirements and hence action should be taken against the RWAs of these colonies who had submitted forged affidavits.

On the one hand, the Government complains about shortage of fund for development and on the other it could not spend 11,800 crore rupees on development works even after nine months. Now the Central Government is thinking about withdrawing this fund. The Chief Minister gave bailout package of 500 crore rupees to the power companies even after the opposition of Congress Ministers and Legislators although bungling of thousands of crores has been committed in the privatization of power and in fixing power tariff. Now the Chief Minister is going to privatize water supply. After privatization the people of Delhi will have to pay 10 times higher charges for a glass of water. Price Spiral is at its climax but the Government did not take any measures to curb it. On the contrary, it increased the price of milk, water supply, sewer charges, circle rates, VAT, service tax, Metro and DTC fare and increased the sufferings of the people. Delhi Statistical Book 2011 has exposed Delhi Government. The power companies are not happy even after 22 percent increase in power tariff whereas they have earned about 8000 crore rupees this year. Even after this the Government and DERC have allowed the companies to recover fuel surcharge every 3 months.

BJP staged public movements against the anti people decisions of Government, price spiral, corruption, terrorism, failure to hang Afzal Guru. In place of providing permanent solution, the Government passed a Delhi Special Laws which has put the sword sealing and demolition on the people for 3 more years. Delhi Government wanted to impose additional burden of 170 lakh rupees on the people through the Municipal Commissioner which was rejected by the Standing Committee and saved the people from additional economy burden. The Chief Minister did not dismiss corrupt Minister Rajkumar who committed bungling of crores of rupees and against whom Lokayukta and the President made strong comments. Only his department was changed. Government imposed penalty of 7 crore rupees on the self allottees of Dwarka.

The condition of education, health, transport, roads, housing, environment, employment, industries, and trade is pathetic in Delhi. The Government also hatched a conspiracy to render 10 lakh traders of Delhi unemployed by deciding to allow FDI in retail. Chief Minister Sheila Diskhit had taken decision to ruin the trade and industry of Delhi by welcoming FDI. The decision on FDI was postponed only after the protest of BJP and other non Congress parties. CAG has revealed that Delhi Government did not spend 3000 crores on the development of the capital. BJP staged movement in entire Delhi and burnt effigy of the Government on 17-18th December, 2011. BJP started Signature Campaign in which 15 lakh people signed the forms resolving to dislodge Delhi Government. The Government issued caste certificates using the word CHURA deliberately to insult the people of Valmiki Samaj. BJP strongly opposed it. The party also moved the High Court on this issue. Delhi Government was compelled to withdraw this decision. BJP staged movements from the streets to Legislative Assembly and Parliament on the problems of the people throughout the year. Due to this the corrupt and anti people Delhi Government could not take many anti people decisions but it continued to impose economic burden on the people from time to time.

Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee praised for gifting Metro Rail to Delhi

RESOLUTION PASSED AGAINST BAILOUT PACKAGE OF 500 CRORE RUPEES TO THE POWER COMPANIES IN THE BJP PRADESH WORKING COMMITTEE

Strongly condemning the grant of bailout package of 500 crore of rupees to power companies of Delhi in spite of heavy profit earned by them, the BJP Delhi Pradesh Working Committee unanimously passed a resolution to the effect that the Chief Minister should immediately withdraw this anti people decision and provide relief to the 2 crore people of Delhi from corruption and price spiral. The Working Committee also thanked former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee for giving Delhi Metro Rail on this day, 9 years ago. Foundation for Metro Rail was laid in Delhi in the year 1998. At that time late Dr. Sahib Singh Verma was the Chief Minister of Delhi. The meeting was presided over by BJP Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta.

Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Shri Vijay Goel, Aarti Mehra, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Mangeram Garg, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and other prominent leaders were present in the meeting of Working Committee.

In the year 2002, after completion of Metro line between Kashmere Gate to Shahdara Prime Minister Shri Vajpayee wrote a new chapter in the history of Metro Rail by travelling as the first passenger upto Shahdara after purchasing a token at Kashmere Gate metro station on this day. Today Delhi Metro has become pride of India in entire world. A resolution was adopted in the working committee that after BJP comes to power at centre and Delhi such network of Metro Rail will be completed in Delhi and NCR that all the people of NCR may easily and happily travel by Metro Rail. On this occasion Shri Vijender Gupta announced that BJP will celebrate at various places the completion of 9 years of Metro Rail which is the gift of NDA to Delhi.

Pradesh President called upon all the members of Working Committee present in the meeting that they should visit door to door and apprise the people about the achievements of Vajpayee Government and the failures of Manmohan Government so that BJP may end the misgovernance of 13 years of Congress rule in Delhi. He further told that in the month of February Maha Karyakarta Sammelan will be organized in Delhi, in which 1.5 lakh workers will resolve to provide good governance to the people of Delhi and resolve to dislodge the corrupt and anti people Congress Government. A Yatra will also be taken out in entire Delhi in February. The purpose of this Yatra is to expose the corrupt, anti people Congress Government of Delhi and centre which is fueling price rise. The party will start a campaign to visit people door to door so that 2 crore people of Delhi may be awakened.

In the concluding session of the meeting of Working Committee, Pradesh In-Charge M. Venkaiah Naidu told that the Lokpal Bill may not be passed in the Parliament because the corrupt Congress Government has drafted a weak and ineffective bill deliberately. The intention of Government is not to end corruption and bring back black money. Corrupt people of India have deposited 25 lakh crore rupees of black money in foreign banks. If this money is brought back in India and spent for development then country will become prosperous. Congress Government does not want to end corruption hence it is not willing to bring back black money stashed away in foreign countries.

He further told that the Congress Government has played politics of vote bank for misleading the minorities in view of forthcoming elections in 5 states. Congress knows that the Supreme Court will reject the provision of 4.5 percent reservation to minorities out of the 27 percent reservation to backwards because this reservation is against the provisions of Constitution. He told the members of Working Committee that they should start the work of verifying voter list of Delhi so that the bogus votes may be cancelled and bonafide voters may be included.

In a political resolution passed in the meeting, the Sheila Dikshit Government was strongly condemned for its 13 years misgovernance, betrayal, failures and anti people policies. It has been stated in the resolution that the Congress Government has broken all the records of misgovernance. This Government is only concerned about touts, middlemen, profiteers and land mafias. Government has nothing to do with the common man, the poor and helpless people. Even after finding Delhi Government guilty for corruption in CWG by the Shunglu Committee formed by the Prime Minister and the CAG, no action has been taken against them. Grave concern was expressed over it. Pradesh General Secretary Shri Pravesh Verma presented the political resolution.

Holding the Delhi Government responsible for the failure of Rajiv Ratan Aawas Yojna, Ambedkar Aawas Yojna, sufferings to the people due to price spiral, deteriorating law and order, situation in Delhi Working Committee said that the privatization of DJB is not in the interest of the people of Delhi and hence it should be stopped immediately. Sheila Dikshit Government was also blamed for the plight of education, health, failure of PDS etc. in the Working Committee.

This anti dalit Government wasted 680 crore rupees of SC welfare fund on the CWG and did not refund the money even after making promise about it. Referring about the pathetic condition of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, offending the feelings of Poorvanchalis, enforcing building by laws in rural area, the committee held Congress Government responsible for all the problems of Delhi. The Working Committee resolved to remove this anti people corrupt Government of Delhi which is also responsible for price spiral.

Bailout package of 500 crore rupees to power companies

Chief Minister is more concerned about profit of power companies than about the sufferings of the people - Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, 26th December. BJP has said that Delhi Government is not concerned about the sufferings of two crore people of Delhi, but more concerned about the profit to power companies. Hence Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit inspite of protest from the public representatives and the people has given bailout package of 500 crore rupees to the Reliance Companies, B.S.E.S. Rajdhani and B.S.E.S. Yamuna supplying power in Delhi whereas the power companies are earning profit from the people.

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta was expressing his reaction to the big bailout package to the two companies out of three power companies supplying power in Delhi. He expressed his surprise that when the case of power companies is pending with the High Court DERC then why the Delhi Government gave bailout package to Reliance companies in an arbitrary manner? The decisiion of the Chief Minister to give bailout package is proof of the fact that she is in economic connivance with the companies.

Shri Gupta told that in course of hearing on the decision of the power companies to increase power tariff, the High Court had strongly commented that if the companies are incurring loss in supplying power to the people of Delhi then they should leave the field so that other competent companies may be given the work of power distribution in Delhi. He told that how it is possible that one of the Tata comany NDPL which is supplying power in Delhi, is earning profit on the present rates of power tariff, but the two Reliance companies are incurring loss even after 22% increase in power tariff. BJP has always been demanding that the accounts of power companies be audited by the CAG so that the reality is about manipulation of accounts may be exposed. In place of getting the accounts of the companies audited by the CAG and giving bailout package to the CAG in the times of price spiral, the Chief Minister is wasting money on the companies earning profit.

Shri Gupta told that the Delhi Government is taking anti people decisions one after another. Had she given exemption of five hundred crore rupees to the people then it could have provided relief to them, but she did not do so and gave bailout package to the power companies earning heavy profit of 6000 crore rupees and showed her bad intentions before the people.

Government does not want to regularise unauthorised colonies

Congress Government is playing the game of snakes & ladders with 50 lakh residents of unauthorised colonies of Delhi

Strongly condemning the latest statement about the regularision the unauthorised colonies of Delhi, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the Government is playing game of politics with 50 lakh people of unauthorised colonies.  The intention of Delhi Government is not to provide safe and legally acceptable life to 50 lakh people of these colonies.  This is the reason why even after issuing provisional certificates, Delhi Government is not regularising these colonies.

Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has said that since the MCD reports about the status of the unauthorised colonies of Delhi hence the Delhi Government is not able to regularise these colonies.  Shri Gupta told that the Chief Minister is misleading the people of Delhi because in the year 2009 itself MCD had informed Delhi Government that the Government had sent a list of colonies to the MCD for ascertaining their legal position.  Out of these 125 colonies were not fulfilling the requirements fixed by the Government.  Inspite of this Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit distributed provisional certificates through Mrs. Sonia Gandhi to these 125 colonies and committed bungling of thousands of crores.  Had the intentions of Delhi Government been clear then it could have taken legal action against 125 fictitious colonies in 2009.  Since the people who obtained provisional certificates by filing affidavits to the Delhi Government about these fictitious colonies, were in criminal connivance with the Government hence the Chief Minister inspite of knowing all these things did not take any action for two years against these land mafias who committed bungling of thousands of crores and gave them opportunity to destroy the proof and remove the papers so that no legal action may be taken against them.

Pradesh President told that on the one hand Delhi Government wants to keep the sword of sealing and demolition hanging on 50 lakh people of unauthorized colonies and on the other hand the Central Urban Development Minister by saying that the Master Plan 2021 is useless for Delhi, is talking about framing new Master Plan for Delhi within three years.  Due to this the two crore people of Delhi are in a fix.  The housing, industrial, commercial problems of Delhi will become more complicated due to it.

Delhi BJP has demanded the Central and Delhi Governments that without losing any time the Government should start the process of approving reulagirsation of all the unauthorised colonies which fulfil the requirements fixed by Government.  If this is not done then the statements of Delhi and Central Governments will prove to be false in which the Congress Government has said that by the year 2015 Delhi will become a slum free and planned city.

On the occasion of 87th birthday of great politician of the world and pioneer of good governance, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, being observed as Sushasan Diwas, more than 10,000 BJP workers under the leadership of National President Shri Nitin Gadkari resolved to end the misgovernance of Congress Government and transform the future of the Indian politics, In a big public meeting organized at Constitution Club Lawns today. Not only the Government but also the society will be changed. Shri Nitin Gadkari announced before the people present on this occasion that BJP will make India happy, prosperous, rich and powerful country. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta presided over the public meeting.

Besides Shri Nitin Gadkari, former Presidents Venkaiah Naidu, Rajnath Singh, Org. Gen. Secretary Shri Ramlal, Ananth Kumar, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Vani Tripathi, addressed the public meeting. Navjot Singh Siddhu, Rameshwar Chaurasiya, Rajni Abbi, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Mangeram Garg, O.P. Kohli, Jagdish Mukhi, Pravesh Verma, Ramesh Bidhuri, Subhash Arya etc. leaders were present on the dais. The programme was conducted by Pradesh Gen. Secretary Shri Ashish Sood. The workers were raising slogans – Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Jindabad, Jindabad. Takht Badlenge, Taj Badlenge, Beimano ka Raj Badlenge.

Shri Gadkari told that the people are remembering 6 years of good governance under Vajpayee governance during these days of Manmohan Singh’s misgovernance. In spite of adverse circumstances, the price of food grains and articles of daily use was stable during Vajpayee rule. From Katch to Kohima and from Kanyakumari to Kashmir the country was connected by wide roads during his rule. At that time 1 Dollar was available for Rs.36 but today rupee has devalued and at present 1 Dollar is available for Rs. 56. The GDP had crossed 8 percent mark during Vajpayee rule. Even after cyclone in Orissa, earthquake in Gujrat, war in Kargil, there was no trace of price spiral and corruption. Shri Gadkari told that BJP will again bring back the golden era NDA rule.

Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu told that Atalji is the tallest politician, best parliamentarian, best PM and best orator. No other political leader is like him in the Indian politics. He demanded conferring ‘Bharat Ratan’ to Shri Vajpayee. Many developmental and revolutionary changes took place during Vajpayee rule. He connected the entire country with Rail, Road, Ports, Telecommunication, Audio-Visuals medium. During NDA rule the image of India has changed. For the first time 50 thousand people were given telephone connections. About 500 new T.V. channels were started. The country got wide roads which joined the country with one thread. Vajpayee Government also framed far reaching plans to connect rivers. Today during the UPA rule the people are suffering due to price spiral, corruption, scams, terrorism etc and the Prime Minister of the country is sleeping.

Former President Shri Rajnath Singh told that the Vajpayee ji was the son of soil. He fully understood the ground realities of India. This is the reason why all the policy decisions were taken keeping the common man, villages, poor people, farmers, workers and helpless people in mind. With the help of nuclear test at Pokhran he put India in the club of powerful countries who had Nuclear weapons. His Lahore bus journey is the proof of the fact that India believes in friendship and not in enmity. Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra also narrated many instances connected with the life of Shri Vajpayee. He told that the Congress has ruined the country during its 50 years rule. Referring about the 1947 invasion of Kashmir, he told that if the Nehru Government had given 2-3 days more to the Indian army then entire Kashmir and area upto Rawalpindi would have been under Indian rule.

Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that during the 61 years politics from the days of Jansangh to BJP, lakhs of workers like him have learnt the lesson of politics and harmony from him. Vajpayeeji is the guide and source of inspiration for all. He was in the Indian politics for 6 decades with the resolve to make the last man in the queue happy and prosperous. Shri Gupta further told that Vajpayeeji had given him a mool mantra that frame all the development schemes keeping the common man, the poor and the helpless people in mind. Such decisions should be taken which are in the interest of the society and people at large.

Big public meeting on the 87th birthday of Atal ji

Nitin Gadkari will address a big public meeting on good governance of NDA led by Vajpayee v/s misgovernance of Manmohan led UPA Government

On the 87th birthday of the father of inclusive politics and a great leader of our times, Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee on 25th December a big public meeting has been organised in the lawns of Constitution Club by the BJP.  The National President Shri Nitin Gadkari, former Presidents Raj Nath Singh, M. Venkaiah Naidu, Shri Ram Lal, Shri Ananth Kumar, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra and other BJP leaders will throw light on the six years good governance under Vajpayee rule and six years misgovernance of Manmohan's led UPA Government.  BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta will preside over the public meeting.

Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that many of the public welfare oriented schemes, national projects started by Shri Vajpayee during the NDA rule have been stopped by Manmohan Government. The schemes which are in progress are very slow and the cost has increased many times.  Manmohan Government is completely involved in corruption and taking many anti people decisions.

The Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit is also involved in corruption and imposing various taxes and fees on the two crore people of Delhi during this time of inflation by taking anti people decisions.  She is also ready to give bailout package to the power companies from the hard earned money of the people even after increasing the power tariff.  Power & water supply, public transport, housing, security arrangements are insufficient in Delhi.  Price spiral at its climax.  Government is not awakening even after this.

Shri Gupta told that the CAG of India and Shunglu Committee have submitted their reports to the Prime Minister with the proof of corruption against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and her Government, but the Prime Minister is avoiding to take any action against her.  The anti people Government of Delhi is making many attractive promises to the people which can not be fulfilled.

The Lokayukta of Delhi has also written to the President of India to take action against the falsehood and false promises of the Chief Minister of Delhi.  Even after this the Chief Minister has not stopped making false promises.  Shri Gupta told that in the public meeting on 25th December, the BJP workers will resolve to dislodge Delhi and Central Congress Government so that NDA rule may return again.

Vijender Gupta, Dharam Dev Solanki address the demonstrators

BJP workers and thousands of Palam citizens stage massive demonstration against shortage of water, price rise, corruption

Under the leadership of BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta and Legislator of Palam Area Shri Dharam Dev Solanki, five thousand citizens demonstrated against Delhi Government, DJB for four hours and expressed their acrimony on the problem of severe scarcity of water in Palam area. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta and Legislator Shri Dharam Dev Solanki gave ultimatum in the Dwarka Sector-1 DDA Park to the Chief Minister that if the DJB does not provide sufficient drinking water to the residents of Palam area within 30 days then BJP along with thousands of the residents of area will gherao the Chief Minister. On this occasion Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra and Prof. Jagdish Mukhi also participated and addressed the demonstrators.

The demonstrators were demanding dismissal of Delhi Government and raising anti Government's slogans - 'Peene Ka Paani De Na Sake Jo - Woh Sarkar Nikammi Hai - Jo Sarkar Nikammi Hai - Woh Sarkar Badalni Hai', 'Sheila Dikshit Kare Bharashtachar - Janta Kare Hahakar' etc.

Addressing the demonstrators Shri Gupta told that Delhi Government discriminates between the people of Delhi on the issue of supplying water and power. It is unfortunate that there is great scarcity of drinking water in such important area of the capital like Palam and Dwarka. More than 8 lakh people living in this area are not getting drinking water since many years. Delhi Government gave many assurances about solving the problems, but no promise has been fulfilled.

Legislator Shri Dharam Dev Solanki said that if the Chef Minister does not solved any problem of water within 30 days then BJP will be compelled to take direct action. Thousands of people along with BJP leaders will gherao the Chief Minister. He told that the Govrnment is completely involved in corruption. Price rise is at its climax. People are not getting enough food and many people of the capital are not getting drinking water and the Chief Minister claims to make Delhi like Shanghai and Paris.

Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told that Delhi Government has failed to provide amenities to the people of Delhi. Every department of the Government is involved in corruption. No body is listening to them. The people of Palam and Dwarka had to staged demonstration. If the problem is not solved then strong movement will be started in future.

On this occasion, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi told that it is unfortunate that there is anti people Government in Delhi which has nothing to do with the interest of the public. After coming to power, Congress Government is committing corruption. BJP will launch agitation if bailout package is given to the power companies - Vijender Gupta

Speaking in a ceremony organised by the MCD for naming three parks in Ward No. 27, Begampur of Rohini area, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta warned Delhi Government that if bailout package is given to the private power companies of Delhi which are earning heavy profits then BJP will come in the streets to oppose this anti people decision. In this programme the park in Pocket 12 Sector 22 Rohini was named after Pandit Deepdayal Upadhyay, park in Pocket 13 was named after Sahib Singh Verma and park in Sector 15 was named after Bala Saheb Devras. On this occasion the Chairman of MCD Standing Committee Shri Yogender Chandoliya, District President Ramesh Chauhan, General Secretary Sunit Chauhan, Councillor Jai Bhagwan Yadav were also present.

On this occasion BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that the Chief Minister of Delhi and Congress Government are in economic connivance with the private power companies of Delhi from the day of privatisation i.e. 1st July, 2002. Due to this corruption of 12,500 crore rupees was committed in the process of privatisation with the connivance of power companies and the Government. CAG and PAC of Delhi Government have confirmed on several occasions about manipulations. CAG and PAC of Delhi Government have recommended CBI enquiry, but the Chief Minister has not ordered any enquiry against the power companies.

The entire concern of Delhi Government is to benefit the power companies by exploiting two crore people of Delhi. Hence Delhi Government supports the demand for increasing power tariff again and again. The Government put economic burden on the people by increasing power tariff by 22% although the companies earned profits of 6,000 crore rupees. The Government has also allowed the power companies to recover fuel surcharge every three months. Before this the power companies were recovering three times higher power bills by installing fast reading meters. Yet they are showing loss by manipulating the Annual Revenue Requirement.

BJP has demanded audit of the accounts of the power companies from the day of privatisation, but the Chief Minister, Delhi Government and DERC are not accepting this demand. The power companies have prepared accounts on the basis of purchasing power equiipments from its subsidiary companies. There is major manipulation in this accounts so that the power companies may show loss. The Court has also expressed its doubt on the accounts of the companies. Delhi High Court has recently observed that if the companies are incurring loss at the present rates then they should leave the field so that other reputed companies may be given the work of power supply in Delhi.

The power supply companies of Delhi have deliberately not paid for the power purchased from NTPC so that they may get assistant from the Government. Delhi Government is also partner in this conspiracy hence it has decided to give bailout package of 500 crore rupees for enabling them to pay dues of 3,000 crores to the NTPC. There is opposition even by the ruling party, but the Chief Minister is bent upon giving bailout package. The NTPC has served notice to the power companies, Delhi Government and Central Government on 7th December that if entire dues is not cleareed by 7th January, 2012 then 2046 MW power meant for Delhi will be stopped. Delhi Government wants to give bailout package to the power companies on this apprehension.

BJP team makes sudden inspection of night shelters

THOUSANDS OF HELPLESS PEOPLE ARE SHIVERING UNDER OPEN SKY IN THE INTENSE COLD CONDITIONS DUE TO LACK OF NIGHT SHELTERS-VIJENDER GUPTA

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta made a sudden inspection of night shelters at Chandni Chowk and other places being run by the Delhi Government today. He found that the condition of night shelters is pathetic. This year even tents have not been provided in the night shelters. Due to lack of space, thousands of poor peoples do not get accommodation and they are compelled to pass night in open sky, shivering in the cold. The sufferers told that they are not allowed to enter night shelters after 8.00 p.m. because there is no space available. They have to pay 3 rupees per person for visiting toilet which should be free from any charge. They are driven out at 5.00 a.m. itself. There is arrangement for only 3000 people to pass night in the night shelters run by Government in entire Delhi whereas more than 1 lakh helpless people are compelled to pass night in open sky in the capital. Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Committee constituted by High Court to enquire into these discrepancies and punish the guilty persons.

Shri Gupta told that the provision of drinking water, blankets, beds, toilets, sanitations is not sufficient and there is not arrangements for doctors in need. The number of night shelters this year is less than last year. Delhi Government told the High Court that the number of night shelters this year is less because the number of peoples coming in these shelters is very negligible. The reality is quite contrary to it. Many people were found shivering in the open sky in front of the night shelter at Chandni Chowk. These are the people who could not get place in the night shelter. Even security arrangements are not there. There is no arrangement of firewood in these shelters. There is no arrangement for medicines in case of cold exposure.

Chandni Chowk District President Jai Prakash (JP), Pradesh Media Convenor Vivek Sharma, Mandal President Anand Prakash Bhartiya, Councillor Suman Kumar Gupta and other workers were present with the Pradesh President at the time of sudden inspection of the night shelters. The BJP inspection team visited the night shelters for more than 2 hours and knew the reality. Government is playing with the life of lakhs of helpless poor peoples sleeping under open sky in entire Delhi. Thousands of people are passing their night on the footpaths risking their life in the intense cold conditions.

It may be mentioned that inspite of the directorate of Delhi High Court, again and again only 64 night shelters have been constructed in Delhi. In view of the population of Delhi atleast 200 ulltra modern night shelters should be constructed on permanent basis but the Government has not discharged its responsibility. The Government has handed over the supervision of night shelters being run at present to an apex organization of voluntary organizations at the cost of Rs. 1 lakh per month, per night, per shelter. Many Co-Voluntary Organizations running the night shelters have alleged that Mother India only pays 2.25 lakh rupees for 3 months.  The balance 75 thousands rupees are kept by it. Shri Vijender Gupta has demanded the Lt. Governor to order an enquiry into this allegation.

Winter season is at its climax but Delhi Government is claiming to be constructing night shelters even today. If one agrees with the Government then 84 night shelters are under construction. Government has informed the High Court that besides the night shelters being run by Delhi Government at present 118 night shelters are functioning. Construction of 32 night shelters is yet to start. Shri Gupta has asked the Chief Minister that why Delhi Government did not make arrangements for night shelters before the start of winter season because this is her moral and executive responsibility. He further told that Delhi Government is misleading the High Court in the case of night shelters.

Land scam of thousands of crores by issuing provisional certificates to fictitious colonies

Government silent on truth of bogus colonies since 2 years, BJP to demand L.G. for high level enquiry

BJP Delhi Pradesh has accused Delhi Government of committing land scam of thousands of crores in the capital with the connivance of land mafia and said that in the year 2009, MCD had given a list of 125 fictitious colonies to Delhi Government which were issued provisional certificates by the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit through Congress President Sonia Gandhi.  A BJP delegation will meet the Lt. Governor demanding high level enquiry into this largest land scam.  This land scam of Delhi will be the largest land scam of the country after independence.

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that out of these 125 fictitious colonies, Delhi Government did not find 74 colonies eligible for regularization only after two years.  He further said if high level enquiry is conducted fairly more bogus colonies will come under light.  MCD has sent sufficient evidence in 2009 for the prosecution of those persons submitted false documents for getting a provisional certificates for the colonies but knowingly all the facts about this scam Delhi government intentionally did not registered single FIR nor arrested any one because Congress party leaders were involved in this scam.

Shri Gupta has asked the Chief Minister that when two years ago the MCD found that 125 colonies are fictitious and informed the Delhi Government in 2009 to take legal action against false RWAs, but the Government continued to sit upon it because high profile leaders of Congress Party were involved in it?  After the submission of affidavits by the Association of fictitious colonies why the Government did not take any action for the last two years?  Delhi Government should have reported the matter to the Police against the land mafias who had submitted affidavits and should not have given opportunity to destroy the proofs.  These people have destroyed the proofs during the last two years and were planning to commit land scam openly.  Shri Gupta has demanded that Delhi Government should reveal the names of these land mafias and leaders connected with the ruling party before the public.

It is obvious that the Government is in criminal connivance with those people who have submitted forged papers of these colonies.  The price of land in these colonies is thousands of crores.  Such large land scam has not been committed in any city of India till date.  The Government had to exposed the case of these 74 forged colonies, when the BJP expose the cases of Ganga Vihar, Shakti Vihar, Taimur Nagar Extension, Kotla Mahigram Extension, Abu Fazal Part-II, Radha Kishan Vihar etc. fictitious colonies.  The Lokayukta of Delhi has also started enquiry into this bungling at his own level.  Justice Manmohan Sareen has issued notices to Delhi Government and asked to show the grounds on which provisional certificates were granted to these fictitious colonies.

Shri Vijender Gupta has said that for securing votes at the time of last elections, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had distributed provisional certificates through Sonia Gandhi to thousands of unauthorized colonies without seeing that these colonies fulfill the eligibility criteria.  She had also made false announcements that poor people of Delhi will be provided pucca houses.  Now in view of MCD elections, Delhi Government is again making false announcements.  Government has promised that by the year 2015, Delhi will be made free from slums.  Announcements have also been made that slum dwellers will be allotted cheap flats and unauthorized colonies will be regularized whereas the Delhi Government has no road map ready for making Delhi free from slums, regularizing the unauthorized colonies and providing flats to the J.J. dwellers.

Foundation stone of primary school of 7.55 crores laid in Bhalswa

If power supply is stopped, BJP and consumers will start decisive battle against Government - Vijender Gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta laid the foundation stone of a primary school of 7.55 crores in Bhalswa-Jehangirpuri ward today.  This school is being constructed by the MCD which will have 42 rooms .  Addressing the people present on the occasion, Shri Gupta demanded the Delhi Government that it should brief the people about the dispute on payment for power supply between the private power supply companies of Delhi, NTPC and Delhi Government the reasons is that the NTPC has served notice to the Government, DERC and power companies to stop supply of 2046 MW power meant for Delhi if the dues of 1500 crore rupees is not paid by the power supply companies by the 7th January, 2012.  He told that lakhs of people pay the power bills on time and the power companies are also earning profit continuously.  Inspite of this if power supply is stopped to the people of Delhi then BJP will be compelled to start strong agitation against the Government and power companies.

He further told that two weeks ago, the NTPC had warned the power company of Delhi, BSES and Delhi Government that the power companies have to pay 1500 crore rupees to the NTPC.  If this amount is not paid to NTPC by 7th January, 2012 then the NTPC will stop power supply of 2046 MW meant for Delhi and Delhi Government, power companies and DERC will be responsible for it.  Court is hearing this case.  The Court is likely to pronounce its judgement on 20th December.  The Reliance Companies BSES, Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna have expressed their inability to pay the due of 1500 crores on the ground of incurring loss.  Delhi Government is in connivance with these companies.  Hence Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had announced bailout package of 500 crores to these companies.

Senior Minister in Delhi Government Dr. Ashok Kumar Walia and others had opposed the bail out package of 500 crores openly.  BJP has always been of the view the power companies of Delhi prepare forged accounts showing loss every year and pressurise the DERC and Delhi Government to increase power tariff.  Due to this pressure the Government and DERC allowed 22% increased in power tariff this year.  The power companies are not happy with this increase.  They are demanding 70% increase which would be against the interest of the people.

Shri Gupta told that it is the demand of BJP that the accounts of the power companies be audited by the CAG.  Because there are concrete proofs of the fact that the power companies had earned profit of 6,000 crore rupees last year.  It is expected that their profit will increase to 8,000 crore rupees this year.  If the power companies are not satisfied even after such huge profit then the Government should end the agreement with them and hand over the work of power distribution to other competent companies.  The High Court of Delhi has also told these companies that if they are incurring loss at the present rates then they should leave the field to other competent companies to whom the work of power supply may be awarded.  Shri Gupta has demanded explanatory papers from the Government on all the issues connected with power supply and has warned the power companies, Delhi Government and DERC that if power supply is stopped in Delhi and if people face difficulties to it then the BJP along with power consumers will start decisive battle against the Government, DERC and Discoms.  On this occasion Mandal President Karam Veer Rathi, RWAs and representatives of the villages were present.

Social Media to play major role in Politics-BJP

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri.Vijendra Gupta said that Role of Social Media in politics is vital in today’s context in a seminar organized by Pradesh Samvad Prakoshth. Now a day’s role of social media has become critical in providing authentic information towards society and nation.

Chief speaker of the seminar Shri. Sudhendra Kulkari said that in today’s scenario movement of Anna Hazare, return of black money movement by the Ramdev and corruption are hot issues in India. Although central Govt is indulge in corruption. The voices coming from media about these issues rather than the reality is that social media creating awareness to reveal more corrupt practices.

On this occasion Pratibha Advani & incharge of Delhi Pradesh Samvad Prakoshth Atul Mukhi said that rest of the media displaced what their editor says, whereas social media is a pure form of expressing our views and opinions. They jointly stated that fast communication of social networking like face book, twitter etc can provide cheap and best technology in the field of political communication.

BJP Delhi state president Shri. Vijendra Gupta expressed that role of media in political system commence from the beginning. Media is the important pillar of democracy. The role of social media has specific place in directing any nation and society in right direction. The reforms in right direction can improve a country. Two days signature campaign of BJP

10 lakh people resolve to dislodge anti people Congress government
Under the two days signature campaign of BJP Delhi Pradesh to protest against anti people Congress government at Center and Delhi, on the last day more than 10 lakh people signed anti government forms and resolved to dislodge Congress government. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta participated in this signature campaign at Gazipur. In this campaign Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Pawan Sharma, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Pankaj Jain, Rajesh Bhatia, Rajeev Babbar, Rekha Gupta, Jai Prakash JP, Sansar Singh, Ramesh Chauhan, Ramcharan Gujrati, Kailash Jain, Suman Prakash Sharma, Manoj Sharma, Chote Ram, Nirmal Jain, Ch. Mahak Singh participated at various places of Delhi.

On this occasion Shri Gupta told the workers and the people that they should resolve not to vote Congress government again to power.  The character of the Congress is despotic.  This government has made several promises to the people before the elections but forget them after the elections.  The UPA government under the leadership of Dr Manmohan Singh has been voted to power for the second time.  This government has not given any thing except corruption inflation, bungling, terrorism, dynastic rule the people.

The anti people government of Delhi treats 2 crore people of Delhi as ordinary consumer and continues to impose tax and fees.  All the people of Delhi have not been provided facilities of drinking water, sewer system.  50 lakh people of Delhi liviing in hellish conditions in unauthorized colonies.  31 lakh people also live in slum clusters under the same conditions.

At the time of taking over as the CM of Delhi Sheila Dikshit had promised that every years two lakh houses will be built in Delhi for the people.  But this promise has not been fulfilled.  She had also promised for providing cheap and good houses to the poor people.  Even this promise has not been fulfilled.  Yamuna river has change into dirty drain were as 1800 crore rupees have been spent. This government is working with the help of corrupt people, touts and profiteers. It has nothing to do with the welfare of the people.

This signature campaign was initiated at 400 places of Delhi on 17th and 18th December in which 30,000 workers took part.  The workers apprised the people of Delhi about the anti people works and decision of the government and got there signature on the farms.  People expressed there acrimony against the government.  The people gave there names address and telephone numbers with the signature.  These signed farmed will be submitted to the President of India.

Signature campaign at 400 places of the capital

BJP Pradesh President Vijender Gupta issues white-paper on completion three  years misrule of Sheila Dikshit

On the completion of three years of misrule of the corrupt, anti people and despotic Government of Delhi, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta participated in two days signature campaign against Sheila Government at 400 places of Delhi and issued a white-paper against the Government at Azadpur Chowk.  He also participated signature campaigns at Model Town, Kalyan Vihar, Azadpur Chowk etc. places.  In this campaign more than 30,000 workers of the Party got signatures on the anti Government forms by the lakhs of the citizens of Delhi.  The Party will submit the signed forms to the President of India and will demand necessary legal action against Delhi Government.

Congress Government of Delhi which had promised to make Delhi a city like Paris and Shanghai and make Delhi free from slums and garbage.  In order to make Delhi free from slums, the Chief Minister had promised to lakhs of poor people that under Rajiv Ratan Scheme, they will  be provided multi-storeyed houses on the sites where the present jhuggies are located.  Not a single house has been provided to any slum or J.J. dweller.

At the time of Assembly elections in 2008 in the month of October, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had distributed provisional certificates through Congress President Sonia Gandhi to the residents of thousands of unauthorised colonies.  It was promised to the people that after regularisation of the colonies, basic amenities will be provided in them within a year.  Not a single colony has been regularised as yet.  The Government and land mafia have together committed land scam of thousands of crores in the name of distributing provisional certificates.  Many fictitious unauthorised colonies were given provisional certificates in which there is no inhabitation at all.  When this scam came to light the Government is trying to cover up the case.

Due to price spiral in Delhi 80% people are not getting sufficient nutritious food.  What to talk of curbing price spiral, the Chief Minister, adding insult to injury, has said that the people of Delhi earn much hence they are not affected by price spiral.  In Delhi the price spiral is more severe than other cities of the country.  By failing to decrease tax on petrol and diesel, the Government has fuelled price spiral.  Due to increase in circle rate, VAT, service tax, registry fee, school fee, power tariff, water and sewerage charges, it has become difficult for the people to live in Delhi.

The Government had committed bungling of 70,000 crores in the CWG concluded in October, 2010.  Delhi Government also committed corruption of 25,000 crores in this bungling.  Shunglu Committee and CAG have confirmed it.  Both the constitutional institutions have recommended CBI enquiry into this bungling.  But Delhi Government rejected both the reports.  Shunglu Committee was formed by the Prime Minister himself.  Even after six months of the submission of report, the Central Government is avoiding any action on it.  By this way the Central Government is trying to save Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit openly.

Delhi Government committed bungling of thousands of crores in the process of privatisation of power.  The people did not get any benefit from the privatisation of power.  The power tariff continued to increase.  By installing fast running meters, the power bills were inflated.  Now the Government has framed plans to privatise water.  Gradually this scheme is being implemented.  After privatisation of power it will be difficult to get drinking water.  The Delhi Government is not providing drinking water to 40% of Delhi and power to 20% people.  These people depend on private sources to get power and water.

By taking anti people decision one after another, Delhi Government is showing its despotic character.  From time to time Chief Minister of Delhi issued such statements which creates bitterness in the society.  More than 40 lakh Poorvanchalis live in Delhi.  They have been demanding that public holiday should be declared on Chhath festival by Delhi Government.  Government did not announce holiday, but when the MCD announced holiday on Chhath Festival then the Chief Minister strongly opposed it.  Chief Minister considers Poorvanchalis as burden on Delhi.  She says that 40 lakh Poorvanchalis utilise the amenities in Delhi due to which there is scarcity of these amenities.

Every year thousands of young students have to run from pillar to post for higher education.  Government has not opened a single University in its 13 years rule.  Hundreds of public schools have been opened by getting land at cheap rates.  These schools do not provide free education to the poor students as agreed upon by them at the time of allotment of land.  Hospitals have become slaughter houses.  Yamuna river has become a dirty drain in Delhi PDS system is under the complete control of corrupt people.  Even today lakhs of people sleep in open sky in Delhi.  Inspite of the orders of Delhi High Court, Government has not arranged for sufficient nightshelters.  Delhi has become crime capital for women, children, senior citizens.  Kidnapping, murder, rape cases are common in Delhi.
