Thousands of workers taken into custody: Workers tied black strips on their mouth

PROTEST MARCH OF BJP AGAINST MURDER OF DEMOCRACY

New Delhi, 30th December. Terming the failure of Government to get the Lokpal Bill passed in Rajya Sabha by the Congress as planned conspiracy of Government and agitated due to this attempt to murder democracy by the Government, thousands of BJP workers staged protest march from Delhi Pradesh Headquarters to the Parliament. This was led by the Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta. Thousands of agitated workers were taken into custody by the police at Parliament Street Police Station. Workers were raising slogans “Congress ne aadhi raat ko ki, Loktantra ki Hatya, Jantantra ki Hatya, Manmohan Sarkar, Isteefa do, Isteefa do, Jantantra ki Hatyari Sarkar, Barkhasht Karo, Barkhast Karo.” The workers tied black strips on their mouth and were marching with black flags in their hands.

National Vice President of the Party Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told that the history of Congress has been to betray the people in the midnight. The former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had declared emergency in the midnight of 24/25 June, 1975 and put lakhs of people in Jails. The character of Congress is despotic and undemocratic. History is witness of the fact that whenever Congress comes to power, the country has to suffer from corruption, price spiral and terrorism.

Addressing the workers before the protest march, Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta told that the intentions of Congress Government were not good from the very beginning. It is itself corrupt and encourages corruption. Due to this Manmohan Government was apprehensive of the fact that if the Parliament passes an effective and strong Lokpal Bill with amendments then many top Congress leaders will be in Jail. Hence, the anti-people Congress Government played fraud with the people in midnight and did not allow the Lokpal Bill to be passed in Rajya Sabha. The country will not get relief from corruption and price spiral till the Congress misrule continues. This Government is not for the common man but for touts, middle man, corrupt persons and mafia.
Leader of the Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told the demonstrator that now the objective of BJP is to dislodge Congress Government because till this Congress misrule continues, 121 crore people of the country will have to face corruption, price spiral and terrorism. If we have to save our country, then the Congress Government must be dislodged. S.Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Legislators Subhash Sachdeva, Shri Krishan Tyagi, Meva Ram Arya, Pawan Sharma, R.P.
