BJP WILL STRONGLY OPPOSE THIS DECISION
BJP DEMANDS IMMEDIATE WITHDRAWAL OF DECISION TO DOUBLE THE PRICE OF DDA FLATS
Terming the decision of the DDA to double the prices of its flats on the pretext of increased circle rates as completely anti-people and unjustified, Delhi BJP has demanded immediate withdrawal of this decision taken by the Government.
BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that BJP will strongly oppose the decision of DDA to double the rates of its flats. He told that Delhi Government has increased the circle rates by 350 percent during the last 8 months. Due to this, the rates of lands in these colonies have doubled where generally poor people purchase 25 to 50 yards of land for a house of their own. In
the house rent has also become very high. By increasing the circle rates, the
Government has smashed the dream of the people to have houses of their own. The
question is where the common man will get relief. Delhi
Shri Gupta told that DDA had allotted five storied houses 3 years ago in Narela etc. areas. At present the market price of LIG house allotted by DDA in Narela is only 6 lakh rupees because Government has not provided basic amenities as yet. The people who have not got their allotted flats registered will have to pay the registry fee on the basis of price of Rs. 25 lakh. If anybody wants to sell his flat, he will not able to get a purchaser.
In Greater Noida, the Greater Noida Development authority acquired land of 58 villages at dirty cheap rates and made 45 thousand allotments of those lands to the capitalists. When the farmers moved the Allahabad High Court in this case then the decision was in their favour. The court directed that the farmers should be paid higher compensation. The court has also cancelled the acquisition of land made illegally. The Gautam Buddh Nagar Administration and the Authority have issued notices to the allotees to pay additional amount of Rs. 2015 per sq.mtr. Due to this the builder lobby is very angry. The builders are saying that they will recover the increased price from the general public.
Although Greater Noida Development Authority has nothing to do with DDA but it has doubled the price of its flats in the capital in the name of increased land rates by Noida and increase in circle rates. Due to this the dream of the people of
to have a flat of
their own has been dashed. The people are already suffering from price spiral. During
such times the decision of DDA to double the price of his flats will break the
