Conclusion of Jan Chetna Yatra


Preparations for unprecedented welcome to Shri L.K. Advani on his arrival in Delhi

BJP Delhi has started preparations to accord unprecedented welcome to the great leader Shri L.K. Advani on the conclusion of his Jan Chetna Yatra on 20th November.  When he will enter from Ghaziabad to Delhi thousands of BJP workers will welcome him with thunderous slogans at the border of Delhi.  With thousands of motor cycles and other vehicles, Shri Advani will cross the border of Delhi and reach historical Ramlila Maidan.  Here he will address a big public meeting of BJP workers and the people of Delhi and herald new history of change in the country.

            BJP Delhi Pradesh General Secretary Shri Ashish Sood told that for the preparation of welcoming the Yatra, BJP Pradesh Incharge Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta, Pradesh Co-Incharges Sardar Navjot Singh Sidhu, Shri Ramesh Chaurasia, Organisational General Secretary Shri Vijay Sharma, Pradesh General Secretaries SarvaShri Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood and all the office bearers attended series of meetings at the Mandal level.  Thousands of BJP workers were present in these meetings for the preparation of Jan Chetna Yatra.

            Addressing the workers in a meeting called for the preparation of rally to be held in Ramlila Maidan at the conclusion of Jan Chetna Yatra, Co-Incharge Shri Navjot Singh Sidhu told that Shri Advani started this journey to herald a new history of the country.  The public awareness created by this Yatra to end corruption, bring back black money to the country and invest for the development, has exposed the anti people and anti national face of the Government.  Co-Incharge Shri Rameshwar Chaurasia told that the Jan Chetna Yatra has exposed the bungling of UPA Government before the people and due to this the Congress Government has become restless. The people have made up their mind not to allow this Government to continue even for a day.

            Besides the workers of North-East, West Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Keshav Puram, North-West, Outer Delhi, Karol Bagh and New Delhi Districts, Mahila Morcha and workers of all the Morchas and Cells were present in this meeting.  Today a big meeting of Mahila Morcha was held.  In this meeting Pradesh Incharge Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu described about the importance of Jan Chetna Yatra to the women workers and directed them to welcome the Yatra.  On 8th November, the meetings of the workers of South Delhi, Mehrauli, Mayur Vihar and on the 9th November meetings of Shahdara, Najafgarh Districts will be held.

            It may be mentioned that the Jan Chetna Yatra was started from Sitabdiara, the ancestral village of Lok Nayak J.P. Narayan on his birthday the 11th October.  In this yatra of 40 days public awareness was created in the country and exposed the anti people Central UPA Government and the people were called upon to be ready for a great change in the country.  UPA Government has looted the country and made it a pauper.
